Be careful with this agency…the agents are asking for part of deposit to “check your references “and they will tell you that you don’t pass and you will lose the money .They don’t provide you with information about the rejection which I find normal to have because you pay for them.Agent name that I deal is Eliot…very kind but also very sharp when you ask about explanations If they do like that with 10 people per week this deposit are money in the pocket If anyone have the same experience don’t hesitate to share it.This is Hemel Hampstead branch

Over valued and little contact.So much contact to get us to sell with them, as soon as we listed the house with them I received loads of marketing calls trying to get us to upgrade the marketing package. They encouraged us often to drop the price they valued it at. I really believe they give you a great listing price but then always encourage clients to reduce. If you look on rightmove you’ll see lots of there listings reduced. Sarah branch manger French promised calls back but never did. Alex was the only person in branch that was helpful. I also went with the solicited they recommended and they were also awful, slow and never communicated with us.

Knowing I was a first-time buyer, he explained the steps to me and helped me chase solicitors when required. He was constantly updating and trying to speed up the process and resolve the bottlenecks. Overall an excellent experience and I felt that I was given the proper attention and support throughout

Chose to go with Brown & Merry after a great buying experience years ago. Unfortunately appears times have changed! The initial consultation regarding the sale of our property was excellent, but unfortunately the experience declined significantly after we signed the contract.

I have found Beth to be friendly, professional and incredibly efficient. Beth has taken the time to explain every step to me and guide me through the buying process from duds to my perfect property! No doubt she saved me from losing money and guided me with her excellent industry knowledge and expertise. She is a rare example of someone who clearly loves her sector and excels on what she delivers. Cheers to a real gem!

TrustpilotI gave them my number.. Big Mistake.
I asked for an evaluation.. this was fine.. no problems.. but I chose a different agent and now 4 months later they still regularly phone me up, once even saying "hello , this is your estate agent".. errr NO... they are abusing the fact that I gave them my number and now I cannot get rid of them.. Wish I had never done so. I am now apart of their ' any phone call is work' policy. B&M are owned by connels and the BBC has a page about their dubious sales tactics. They have a tv show about it also.

GoogleWe dealt with Alan,Matt and Edd at Brown and merry in Aylesbury. From first point of contact they have been very professional and polite. Informing me of everything that was happening throughout the sale of our property. There was never any hard sales pitch when looking to market our property, they gave us plenty of time to think about our options and to look at other agents without feeling pressured. They provided evidence on what they believe we should price our house at. They are in a league of there own compared to other agents we had considered. With Viewings we had specific instructions, as we have a nervous cat and they where listened to. 10/10 A**** great Job guys Thank you.

GoogleWe have purchased our new home and arranged our mortgage through Brown & Merry. We have been dealing with Loren, who has arranged our mortgage and so much more, from day one of viewing the property. She has honestly gone above and beyond for our sale and to ensure that not only did we get the very best mortgage offer, to suit us, but to ensure that every step of the process has been as seamless as possible. We faced a couple of issues with the sale itself and Loren was always there to reassure us and push the sale forward for us, we honestly couldn't have done this without Loren. She has given us absolutely incredible service, is polite, friendly, helpful and kept in contact with us at all times. We just want to thank Loren for everything she has done for us and would most certainly recommend going to her for a mortgage or remortgage, no matter whether you are buying a house through Brown & Merry or not.

The other sale advisors over the phone have always been incredibly helpful whenever I have needed advice at that time.
