Fantastic support from Nicole and the rest of the letting team after having to deal with a full renovation of our property after our last tenants left significant damage on vacating the property. They were empathetic, supportive and really leant in to share the burden and help us through the process, especially as we are not professional landlords. They were superb at getting in new tenants as soon as possible and certainly made our lives a lot easier through an extremely challenging time. We had an excellent experience as first-time buyers with Brown and Merry. From the very beginning, the team was supportive, professional, and approachable throughout the whole process. We first met Ed, who guided us through our house viewings. He was very professional and well prepared, always able to give honest answers to our questions. He also played a crucial role in helping us during the negotiation of our offer. We decided to use the broker they recommended, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Hermione was extremely professional and attentive, always kind and patient with all of our questions. She worked hard to find answers and support us throughout the process. There were some difficulties and delays along the way, but she kept us informed whenever there were updates and directed us to the right people when needed. The broker also helped us arrange our insurances and our will, which was incredibly helpful at a time when there were so many things to organise. Gary handled the liaison between us and the seller, and he did a great job keeping communication clear and moving things forward. Thank you all for the great work. We would definitely use Brown and Merry again in the future if we require estate agent services. The whole team was both professional and genuinely human, understanding the emotions their clients go through during such an important process.

⭐ 1 Star We had a valuation done by Brown & Mary at the end of 2024. Since then, we have continued to receive repeated voicemails and letters through the post. I contacted them directly to request removal from their mailing list, but was told my details were not even on their system, which makes the ongoing contact even more concerning. This has been frustrating and feels like poor data handling and communication. I would not recommend based on this experience.

Brown&Merry Aylesbury recently handled the sale of my house. It’s fair to say that things were rather protracted, with the first prospective buyer coming back twice to ask for a price reduction. However Brown&Merry handled the situation very well. We agreed to put the house back on the market and it was sold in three months from start to finish. I found all of the staff very helpful, and proactive. They often contacted me to suggest how we might progress the sale, and were very helpful in finding contractors when needed to progress the sale. We bought through Brown and Merry- longest house purchase timeframe ever (19 months) due to broken chains and other issues. Brown and Merry were highly professional and supportive throughout the challenging process. Edward was encouraging and helpful every time we spoke and kept in constant contact- even with congratulatory phone calls on exchange on contracts.
