I would strongly recommend Alexander & Co Buckingham. My call was answered quickly, and the gentleman who answered was so helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. I also spoke to the branch manager, who again was extremely helpful and sent through an email within an hour. The customer service was excellent and both gentlemen were really enthusiastic and engaging even though it was a Friday at 4pm. Fantastic. I cannot recommend enough.

Sept 2023 My previous review is below this. They were 5 star when I was looking to rent. Now my tenancy is over their customer service is truly awful. I wanted my deposit back, and after 3-weeks I had no response to multiple emails sent, no response to voicemails. I also went into their office and was promised someone would call me back, no-one did until on the day after I complained to the branch manager. Originally, upon returning my keys, I was told it would take 1-2 weeks to receive my deposit back. It's now due for completion 4 and a half weeks after I moved out... Feb 2022 Alexander & Co were, in my experience, the most responsive agency and the agency with the most rental properties on their books in the Buckingham area. And thanks to that they helped me to find the rental I'm now in. Professional and friendly throughout, thank you to Tanya and the team :-)

So we put an offer in with Bob on a house we really liked, we were ready to get the ball rolling on purchasing the house. We had a few minor hick ups but we had a buyer waiting and we were waiting to buy. After a week or so of thinking that we were buying the house we wanted we called Bob to touch base and see what was happening. In which he told us we couldn’t have the house as he’s sold to some one else 4 days prior to us calling. Didn’t bother to let us know. Someone else had put a better offer in and that’s fine. I understand how it works. But Bob decided not to let us know as clearly we were no longer of any value to his work and so we were swept under the rug. Bob is clearly part of the reason that there is a reputation around estate agents and how they are often portrayed as untrustworthy.

Our first contact with anyone from Alexander&Co was Bob from the Winslow branch. He has a friendly, approachable and professional demeanour and no job was too big or too small. He was happy to talk us through the process of selling and happily answered all of our questions which made us feel at ease. The Winslow branch sold our property exceptionally quickly and we cannot fault their efficiency and communication. Rachael regularly kept in contact with us and ensured that the sales memorandum was sorted out quickly. We purchased our new house through the Buckingham branch of Alexander&Co, Peter was brilliant at contacting us when he had suitable properties for to view which was certainly appreciated in the fast-moving market! He took note of all of our requirements and in the end, found us a house which ticked all the boxes. Jill’s service as the sale progressor was certainly needed for everything to come together in the end. Our chain had some obstacles to overcome which resulted in a simultaneous exchange and completion, not ideal, but in this case, there was no other options! Jill did an amazing job at keeping all of us in the loop in the few weeks leading up to the big move and I cannot thank her enough for all of the hard-work she put in to enable it all to happen. We certainly had a positive experience with both the Buckingham and Winslow branches of Alexander&Co and would recommend them.
