GoogleAfter I searched about Council Tax Band appeal I came across your website and information about how to appeal against my council tax band. Many thanks for all the information on your website I have now successfully appealed and got my Council tax band altered from E band to D band. VOA initially did not accept my first appeal to them then I took the case further to valuation tribunal then few months later before hearing date they accepted my appeal and agreed to alter my council tax band. Very happy with the result. Many thanks again to all in Petty Son.

GoogleExtremely unhelpful. Tired to book a viewing only to be told I was rude (after spending my name out five times!!). I would advise to not use them for any sales. Beware of the rating, guys. Take a closer look at those five star reviews, I think they mostly look fake. DMCC bill comes to mind.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologise for any frustration you felt when contacting our office to arrange a viewing. We understand the member of our team you spoke with did inform you at the time of your calling it was a poor line and apologised throughout the conversation that she had to ask you to repeat yourself to assure herself the information you were providing was accurate. As an agency, we take great care in ensuring that the information we hold is as accurate as possible. All of our staff are trained to be aware that initial details incorrectly taken down could later result in us being unable to find a registered buyers details meaning we have to take all the information again in order to book a viewing or produce correct documents should that buyer later make an offer on one of our property’s. Crucially we must be fully aware aware of who we are booking into our sellers homes as we make staff security, and the safeguarding of the homes we represent, our highest priority when meeting viewers at properties. We do hope the above fully explains why we are so thorough in our approach and you can understand the reasoning behind it, but If there’s anything further you would like to discuss or if we can assist you in any other way, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

GooglePettyson & Prestwich have been a model estate agency service, and we incredibly helpful in all areas of my stay in the property that they were letting. I appreciate the patience and the support their entire team gave us whilst we were in the property, and also how effective they made the communication between the landlord and us. I'm quite sad that they aren't also in charge of the property I moved to, because I knew I would have been cared for, haha! Wish them the best of luck going forward, would recommend their services highly.

Maintenance fixes were always prompt, and the team effectively communicated everything that needed to be done in the house to a professional standard. If my personal situation had not changed, I would have stayed in that property longer, as I knew any issues or fixes or suggestions would have been expertly handled by the team, which I really appreciate. Wish them the best going forward, and would highly recommend their services.

GooglePLEASE DON’T TRUST THEM! On this hard time to rent a property, my partner and I fall in Love to one of their place. We called the agency in the morning to arrange a viewing and said they will call us back. Called again at the end of day and we’ve been told that as soon as they have a date, they assured us we don’t have to call again as they will contact us to be one of the first. The following day we called again before closing time to see on the off chance, and there viewings were full!! This is extremely unprofessional…. As least they should not have made a promise like this, super disappointed and upset.

Without specifics of which property it is you wished to view it is difficult to comment on your particular experience but of course we endeavour to get back to everyone that enquiries about our properties. The majority of properties we re-let often have existing tenants in situ and, often, we are limited by the times given to us by the tenant to book everyone who make enquiries (especially, as you mention, during such an active rental market). We also sometimes have instruction from a landlord to market the property before we have times confirmed by the tenants that we are able to show over prospective tenants, in which case when the property goes live we have to create a list of all those that enquire and we work down the list in order of those who enquired first to be as fair as possible. We have tried to find your details on our database in order to contact you directly but we don’t have you registered with us, however, we would be more than happy to discuss your experience with you over the phone or via email as it is never our intention to mislead or set unrealistic expectations.

The fairest estate agent we spoke to during the whole process, felt like they were trying to represent both us as buyer in addition to the seller (who is paying them ultimately!) Overall took some of the stress out of buying and everyone we spoke to was very friendly!

GooglePetty Son gave us great service from our initial meeting through to sale completion of Dad's Wanstead flat in early December. They provided very prompt response to calls/emails, provided realistic expectations on sale price that were met, and the staff were always friendly and re-assuring. They had a good knowledge of the property and I consider that engaging them was one our best decisions for 2023!!

Unlike many other agents in the area who we found aggressive and pushy, Pettys were the opposite. They were very professional and made us feel very comfortable about renting out our home. They made the process as stress free for us as possible and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future for renting out or selling our house.

Over that time, I found Pam, Fran, Danny and Elaine to be the absolutely best agents to deal with: tirelessly helpful, interested in understanding what I wanted, extremely protective of their vendors' best interests while being committed to finding me my best "forever home". I am now happily installed in a beautiful home, thanks to their hard work and commitment. The process between bid acceptance and completion was flawless thanks to Elaine's efforts. Brilliant communication, lovely people, great integrity.

GoogleWe were recommended to use Pettyson by many people. We have certainly not been disappointed. Pamela came to to value the property and she had lots of information and advice to give us. We signed the agreement and scheduled for the house to be put for sale the following week. Pictures were taken promptly and the house went for sale within days. We had many visits and they kept us updated on a regular basis up to the completion date. We would like to thank all the team especially Faye, Francesca, Danny, Pamela & Elaine for all their help!
