Gilson & Bailey have been really prompt in facilitating viewings. Tom showed me around on the second viewing literally a day later and communicated super quickly and clearly as my sale was negotiated and agreed. As I was considering 2 properties with the same agents they quickly made sure I’d only have to communicate with one agent and Tom has been great since. They have all been nice and helpful and quick to answer anything back and forth with sellers when considering options before proceeding with buying. So far, so good!

Gilson & Bailey acted on behalf of the seller of the property we are buying. I honestly cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, especially Louise. We had a long chain and had several issues that caused delays and frustration but Louise was on hand all the way through, proactively chasing and doing her best to reassure us as we had bad experiance in the past with things falling through right before exchange. Louise is incredibly dedicated at her job, even taking time in her day off to monitor the exchange and make sure it all went through and that we were updated as soon as possible. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and if we are ever looking for an agent in the future, we will definitely go with them.

Louise was acting for the sellers of the property we were purchasing and she was absolutely fantastic. We had an absolute nightmare of a chain, which got more and more stressful the closer to exchange we got. Louise was extremely proactive and ultimately was the reason we managed to exchange on time. I really don't know where to begin with what an amazing job the team did. Ralph is the most calm, friendly and human face of Estate Agency. But the real superstar for me is Scott. Despite our property probably being one of the 'compact' on his books he always made us feel like he had all the time in the world to support us through our sale. He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but also delightfully 'normal' which can be unusual in that industry... He took personal pride in making sure our sale got over the line and we would, without doubt recommend him and the team to anyone looking to move. Thank you!

Last year we used Gilson & Bailey to sell our property and they were acting for our vendor too which helped enormouslyduring negotiations. They were efficient, friendly and very professional throughout. Valuations were realistic and our property was beautifully presented, after only a week we had a buyer. Louise kept us up to date with everything and got us thru some tricky moments! When my mum needed to sell her bungalow early this year, to come live with us we didn't hesitate to engage G&B again, even though the property was in Lowestoft. They dealt will all the viewings and again we were kept informed all along the process. Hopefully we won't be needing their services for quite a while 😁 but we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scott and the whole team.

Excellent service by Louise Ruddy - Norwich branch

I used Gilson Bailey in Norwich for the sale of my dads house after he moved into care. Louise was excellent, keeping me updated on the progress and chasing updates from the other parties when needed. Used Gilson Bailey in Brundall as they were local. Had a couple of other valuations with other agents, but Gilson Bailey seemed to me to be more of a realistic valuation. The process of potential buyers viewing my property was stress free, and there was no pressure on myself accepting any of the offers. First offer did fall through, but Gilson Bailey were soon on the case setting up potential buyers again. Once I had sold, Gilson Bailey kept me up-to-date with the process, and all went smoothly. I passed the checks for a rental property but pulled out due to the fact Gilson Bailey shared my data without my consent with a company called "One Utility", who kept calling and texting me. I then found out One Utility had contacted council tax and Anglian water, before I had even signed up with them, or signed the Tenancy agreement, to notify them of my moving date. Anglian water set up an account which I then had to phone them to complain about. Absolutely outrageous, and surely illegal?

Estate agents tend to get a bad reputation and it's often justified, however this can't be said for Gibson Bailey. Having just exchanged on a house purchase through them we have had a great experience. From the moment we first met their agent Brayden. There was no puff or bravado that we had experienced when viewing houses in the area with other agents. They were open honest and provided great communication between us and the vendor. They put us in touch with an amazing Solicitor called Jack who has been noting short of fast miracle worker. Thanks for all your hard work and diligence.

Exceptional service…

On phoning to enquire re a certain property Scott Hughes (Norwich) was most polite efficient and so very helpful. After enquiring about our circumstances and preferences it ended up with him suggesting 2 other possible properties for potential viewings We are hoping to relocate so our window of opportunity to view was very small. He managed to secure the 3 viewings on a specified day which was no doubt not an easy task. He referred to me by my first name and went above and beyond. A total credit to the team. We used Gilson Bailey Brundall to market and sell my late mums bungalow. It was a very difficult time for us and staff at the office were very understanding and explained exactly what we needed to do to sell the property. A buyer was found quickly and we were kept up to date with the progress of the sale. At one point the lower end of the chain had a problem. Louise was very helpful passing on information and chasing things. She kept us informed until the issue was resolved. I would highly recommend Gilson Bailey Brundall, the staff were great and the service they provided all through the process was excellent.
