Such an awful experience from such an upstanding and reputable company - the estate agent, Tania, that just showed me a flat in Greenhithe was one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever met in my life. I’m not even sure she’s an estate agent? Absolutely rude and unprofessional. You should not have people of this poor character representing your business.

Our experience with Wards has been an absolute pleasure. Selling our beloved mum and dad's house after 55 years with all its happy memories was always going to be hard, and Clare McDonnell hit just the right note from the minute she came to meet us. She was kind, practical and realistic and our confidence was not misplaced since we sold after our very first set of viewings. The whole process has been smooth from start to finish with the help of Kim Batchelor our personal Sales Progressor who works behind the scenes to ensure that the process is as straightforward as possible. We have been kept up to date with any developments, valuations were carried out promptly by third parties and the recommended solicitors have been spot on too. Whenever I have had cause to call, everyone I have dealt with has been helpful and knowledgeable so a thank you to the whole team at Gillingham - Gary, Prince, Jenny, Michael and Natalie - all of whom have been able to answer my queries efficiently and quickly.I cannot recommend Wards highly enough, thank you everyone involved - you've made an emotionally difficult process as pleasant as it could be.

I have been dealing with Wards since the 1970s when I purchased my first house. Since then they have always looked after my house buying, renting and selling needs all in a super efficient manner. I am actually selling a property with them at the moment and it has been a very smooth process being guided by Graham (the manager) and Grace who will liaise with you throughout the sale. I cannot recommend Wards highly enough if you want a smooth professional service.

The agents were polite enough initially. I had signed the lease and agreed with the landlords handyman to meet at a future date for some work to be done on the property. He wasn’t happy about this so he went in the next day without agreement.My partner went to the house at a later date to find it had been flooded. The handyman left the shower running, spraying out of the bath. I contacted Wards, the letting agent. They stalled for a week then finally said; “it’s your problem, you signed the lease.”Very Disappointing. Would never go to Wards again. The property also had fleas.

Our records also reflect that 24-hours after you had moved into the property, you reported the situation in respect of the fleas and it is regrettable that the previous tenants had not fulfilled their responsibility in accordance with their tenancy agreement. GoogleHonestly, nothing but praise for our estate agents! The whole team are always there to help no matter how busy they are, especially considering the restrictions in place due to Covid-19. Natalie and Steve have both gone above and beyond to assist us, and our buyers, to make our move happen. Last year we tried an online estate agent which sadly didn’t meet our expectations, so this year we swapped over to Wards Broadstairs which was definitely the right choice. Natalie in particular is an absolute credit to the company! She really does work hard to deliver on her promises, assists in any way she can, and really has driven this move from the start. We are very pleased indeed with the service we have received. We used WARDS to fully manage our rental property. The elderly tennant had never caused any problems. However, between Aug 20 and Apr 21. Her breached tennancy by chain smoking in the place and letting his birds fly around the property. Jan 21 no inspection done due to covid. The property was a complete mess & reeked of tobacco & other 'things'. Helen ROSE at WARDS was exceptionally helpful in getting us through the process of claiming against the deposit & managed to secure it for us in full. There are other service issues I need to take up with WARDS, but this element of the problem was handled very professionally by someone who is new to the role.
