On the whole a good experience with quick replies to questions and an alternative person to communicate with if the main contact was out. Frustrated on the final day when it appeared to take one hour for the money to get from our buyer to us then a further one hour fifty five minutes for the money to get from us to our seller's solicitor meaning that removal men {and my wife} were sat in the freezing cold waiting for keys - would have been quicker to take the cash out and drive it there. When I paid Ocean their fees, it was there within minutes.We appreciate that the process depends on everyone in the chain being on the ball but 14 weeks is too long for a three house chain. Not the fault of Ocean but the whole transaction could be less stressful if the rules were changed slightly.

We’ve recently used Ocean to sell 2 houses and purchase a new home. The whole process was handled with professionalism and efficiency and their online process was easy to follow and kept us nicely up to date with the progress. I would also like to single out their solicitor Claire who did an absolutely marvellous job, informing us of progress and always available for advice. She helped the whole process reach a speedy and successful conclusion. If I ever need a solicitor in the future, Ocean would be top of my list.Jerry

We 100% recommend the team at Ocean Estate Agents Downend. From Laurence who visited to value our home of 25 years to all the guys who carried out the viewings. When a sale was achieved the brilliant Liz and Lisa, Move Managers, kept everyone updated and chased the chain on a weekly basis as the sale progressed. This was no mean feat as our purchase was not the easiest to manage. Thanks to all the team at Ocean Downend we are now settled in our new home. We received excellent sales and marketing advice from the branch manager Steve who was enthusiastic and approachable. We lost one sale along the way and the market definitely became more challenging but Steve remained confident and positive about our property and managed to get a good number of viewings and a very decent offer. The sales progression had a few hiccups but these were managed diligently by Melissa and we completed on the sale as hoped for. Lots of agents can sell a property in a strong market but when the market becomes more sticky you really need a first class agent with experience, determination and the ability to get hold of a situation and sort it. That’s what we got with Ocean and we are very happy that we used them to sell our house.
