TrustpilotEfficient but unhelpful staff response
The sale process was smooth and there weren’t unnecessary delays in the process. Unfortunately we felt that our move manager was speaking to the seller’s interest all the time. We were glad we didn’t go for their In-house lawyer as the discussions could’ve been even more one-sided although we’ve been told that in-house lawyers are from a different branch. Simple queries from us were made into complicated, very difficult to follow answers with legal jargon and it felt very frustrating at times giving off the impression that it was being done on purpose When we raised any issues, it felt staff were taking a very defensive approach on behalf of sellers . when we insisted this be discussed with the sellers , we almost always got positive response from sellers. There seemed to be a natural inclination to take the sellers side even without discussing with them. I wouldn’t deal with this agency again if possible

Lost out on a significant amount of money as the solicitors did not put through mortgage payment redemption in time. It's a shame that you have to constantly chase them to do what seems to be everyday parts of their role. Getting information from them is like extracting blood from a stone. If you're happy to email them every day then you should go with these guys as they did give us a decent rate in comparison. You get what you pay for.

But when i started the inquiries in Ocean Lettings & Management,provided with a very efficient and very accommodating namely JEMIMA and JAMES i got the property now. Its my first time, and its hard to comply the required documents due to my working schedules. But because of this guys afformentioned above who always there for their client to guide and even give a you a moral support that you can provide those required documents. We used Ocean Estate agents to sell our home and buy a new one. All staff we dealt with were fantastic, very friendly & completely professional from start to finish. They guided us through the process and tried to make it as stress free as possible. We had a particularly difficult process with buying our new home, caused by the seller, but Ocean were very supportive and kept us informed at all times. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend to friends and family.

Such a positive experience all round with Ocean. We purchased our house through them 10 years ago, and found them professional, helpful and honest throughout. We came back to them to sell, and the same was true as a vendor. The whole team was highly professional, friendly and well informed about our property, the potential buyers and everything to do with the sale, so we were well supported through the entire process - especially when things got a bit tricky for other reasons.
