In my experience I have found Northwood's Estate Agents to be excellent. I've used them as a Letting Agent for years and I also sold a property with them recently. I met Hannah Drummond back at the start who was very polite, knowledgeable and clearly has excellent values as a person, I found that to be true throughout my time with Northwoods. Matthew Hodge was the Letting Agent and worked diligently throughout the years I've known him. Matthew Bingham was the Selling Agent and was a great help when I needed to get the sale over the line, very good at what he does, very good communication skills, which is what you need at times. Overall I give them 5 stars as it's rare to see people not only good at what they do, but you can tell they are genuinely good caring people, rare in my experience. Never trust an estate agent. That was what I've always thought but having bought a house from Matthew at Northwood I can say that viewpoint has certainly been changed. Matthew is an amazing person, he was super helpful, not pushy and dealt with my endless questions, requests and last minute hiccups. I bought my house with a feeling that I didn't want to murder the estate agent and he had both interests in mind, very unusual from having been on the other side. Would highly recommend Matthew!

A stellar professional service! Hannah, Mathew, David and the whole Bristol team really do a great job with various levels of services offered by Northwood. Its very reassuring to have their wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to guide me when letting my property. I have used Northwood for many years as I am always impressed by the friendly communication, guidance and advice as well as the more technical services provided. Like the 360° virtual viewing video produced and the detailed inventory. And I will definitely use Mathew Hodge as a pre check out/ vacate again. There was a dispute regarding the return of the deposit. Mathew managed this professionally, keeping me informed at all steps of the process. I think the presence of a professional helps to ensure tenants view vacating property a little more seriously. Resulting in smoother change over of tenants. Me and my partner have just recently rented our first ever place. Northwood Bristol have made this so so easy for us. They are all so kind, patient, friendly and very quick with replies to any of our queries. I have to thank Dan Gladders. He’s been the biggest help in our move in. The help and support he provided was phenomenal. Despite our stresses and anxiety for a first time move he was so patient and allowed us to relax. Like most would, we invited multiple agents from the local area to our home to assist with the sale. The process was painful, standard sales techniques, over valuing, over promising until Matthew Bingham from Northwood knocked at our door. Oh my gosh… what can I say… if you are looking for a fantastic letting agent, then Northwood are your team. We had a *nightmare* with our previous letting agents (and tenants) and Hannah and her team went above and beyond to support us through the difficulties, the renovation that needed to be done (thanks to the neglect and unprofessionalism of the previous agents) and found us some great new tenants. I met with 3 agents and knew straight away which one I preferred. The other 2 were nice enough but Hannah came across so well, I felt very comfortable and reassured by her open and honest way of going about things. The bonus was Northwood offered better costs too. Northwood Bristol is the best Letting Agent I have used in 10 years. Preparing a property to let and finding a new tenant when you don’t live locally can sometimes throw up extra challenges. Nothing was too much trouble for Hannah who was professional, friendly and empathetic throughout the whole process. Victoria, the viewing agent met six potential clients and her feedback was professional and extremely helpful. A big thank you to Divine who jumped in her car at short notice to run an unexpected errand for me. If estate agents could be awarded the title of “absolute hero”, Matthew Bingham should be awarded just that. We were brand new to home buying, and were completely daunted by the process, having heard some horror stories from friends and family. However, Matthew was extremely professional and very personable! When we first viewed the property he was informative, but not at all pushy. Once we’d had our offer accepted, he was really quick in responding to our emails and offering helpful advice - no question was too big or small. I have a long association with Northwoods first as agents for a property I was letting and then as agents for the sale of the same property. They have always been excellent; responsive to enquiries, friendly and approachable and highly professional. Matthew, who handled the sale of the house went well beyond what would normally be expected of an estate agent (arranging for things to be cleared, disconnecting appliances, arranging for repairs etc) and made the whole process so much smoother than it might otherwise have been.
