I'm not sure there are enough superlatives in the English language to describe Elephant - very professional and they certainly know how to sell houses. Dhani at the Bishopston office is an excellent communicator and demonstrated a high degree of diplomacy in handling all aspects of my sale, including helping me to sort the wheat from the chaff when deciding which to take of the six(!) offers received for the property. Having said that, all the staff I had contact with at the Bishopston office were very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend Elephant highly enough to anyone looking to sell their property.

We engaged Elephant Estate Agents Bristol to handle the sale of our flat in Dec 2025 and they did a fantastic job. Their marketing process is very slick and polished, they commissioned excellent photographs and put together a really smart prospectus. This developed a lot of interest very quickly and they worked diligently conducting viewings then swiftly securing a suitable offer from properly vetted, reliable buyers. We were appointed a lead contact who proved invaluable to us, but in actual fact every rep we had cause to deal with impressed with the same level of considered, conscientious professionalism. This is clearly an ethos they have successfully cultivated to the benefit of the whole organisation. They respond to emails very quickly but will often call too and this is something we really appreciated. We found talking with them conversationally did a lot to engender confidence in us. Another thing we really enjoyed was the sense that the whole office is familiar with your case and that they are working together to make a success of your sale, they clearly communicate effectively and work well as a team. Furthermore, we felt they struck the perfect balance looking after our interests and advising us in such a way to nurture the interests of our buyers too. We really came to appreciate how important this diplomacy is, especially when managing some of the unquantifiable (and frustrating) aspects of being part of a chain. Their skill for diplomacy and organisation really comes to the fore when dealing with the chain too. They are clearly well connected and highly regarded by other agents and conveyancers alike. They represented our needs perfectly and helped shape the timeline to achieve completion as expediently as could have been expected. Finally, it's important to note that they are prepared to do so much more than simply market your property. They readily offered sage advice to help guide our purchasing decision making too which was so so valuable especially to a couple neither of whom are native to Bristol. They bring to bare considerable expertise when it comes to knowing the Bristol housing market. We honestly can't recommend Elephant highly enough and actually it all really does matter because when you have the unfortunate experience of encountering bad agents (as I'm afraid we did with our sellers), well... it just really matters.

If you are looking for a professional, caring, supportive Estate Agent who puts their clients at the centre of all they do, then choose Elephant. They are a great team, with a superb philosophy which means you know through the whole process, from the first visit to moving day, everything will be completed as they say it will. And there is more to praise and be grateful for! Their communication is amazing, from answering simple questions to explaining difficult processes, and is done in quick time and in a friendly manner. I was never left feeling it was too much trouble, in fact I felt the opposite. A special thank you to Ben who definitely went that extra mile and was nothing at all like the pushy salesman I thought an Estate Agent would be. We didn't choose Elephant to sell our property but wish we had. Elephant were our seller's agent, and their communication throughout the process was outstanding. Alec (and later Alex, who was handling another property in the chain) always responded to emails within minutes, and they were always friendly and helpful. They provided us with updates about the chain far more promptly and in more detail than our agent did, which meant that I found myself emailing Alec in preference to the agent I was actually paying, as I knew I'd get a quicker and more accurate answer - sorry Alec! I would definitely choose Elephant if I need to sell a property in future.

I highly rate elephant estate agent. We recently bought our first property with them and in our experience, they break the estate agent stereotype. Much more real and we had a really bad experience with our solicitor but they were always at the end of the phone if needed to provide reassurance and help the process go smoothly. Can’t rate Emily highly enough! They also gave us a bottle of Prosecco when we got the keys which was lush. 10/10 recommend them!

My boyfriend and I just bought our first flat through Elephant estate agency and they were absolutely fantastic! The process was a bit stressful for us mostly due to the fact that the bulk of our deposit was coming from my family overseas and we were worried about sellers being reluctant due to these circumstances. Alex Stock was so lovely, friendly and super efficient. He helped and supported us throughout the whole process, kept in touch with regular updates, always responded to phone calls and emails super fast and overall made things so much easier for us. He really went the extra mile: we bought some furniture and electrical devices from the owners and he helped us sort the purchase out, communicated with the owners when we needed information on the energy meters and readings for our providers and even reccommended an excellent solicitor who had experience in cases similar to ours. I really couldn't recommend Alex and his team more highly, i don't think we could have had a better first-buyer experience!

One word - 'superb'. Nick and his team were easy to work with when we decided to sell our home. While they were truly professional, the experience felt relaxed and informal, precisely what you need during such a significant experience. From the start and right through, we were given solid advice and thorough feedback from viewings. Each bid was meticulously vetted, mitigating potential non-starters and avoiding costly delays. Aside from the anticipated back-and-forth of the conveyancing process, reaching an agreed sale price was achieved at warp speed in just four days. The sale also went through very swiftly too. Hands down the best estate agents in Bristol. Elephant worked on our recent sale and purchase. They helped us to navigate challenging situations, making the process as stress-free and and as smooth as possible. All staff are hard working, extremely friendly and supportive, but the most noticeable feature is their genuine honesty. We viewed 20 houses in Bristol, and it was always a relief when we viewed with Elephant - properties were appropriately priced, the team were knowledgeable about the house, and any known property-related issues were transparently presented up-front. In terms of our sale, Alec guided us to an appropriate asking price, meaning we had plenty of quick viewings and offers on day 1.

What a truly special experience we had with Elephant Estate Agents. We both recently bought and sold our properties through Alec and his team and we cannot offer a more glowing report. Nick, Alex, Alec and the whole team for that matter we’re true professionals through every aspect of the process. The golden goose for us however was their communication. We bought our first home through Elephant and subsequently sold it with them. We had several valuations but on meeting Ben from Elephant, we knew we could trust him with our home and he was very knowledgable about the area. He was a pleasure to work with throughout and so proactive in helping us chase the rest of the chain. We had a long chain and there were a lot of challenges during the 10 month period it took to complete but Ben kept on top of everything from the bottom of the chain all the way to the top. I don’t think we would have even achieved 10 months if it weren’t for his perseverance (I expect the chain could have fallen apart to be honest!). He genuinely cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to help. We always felt better about the situation after speaking with him and felt like there was a way forward, even in the most stressful times (there were more than a few). Thank you, Ben! :)

Very professional estate agency that supported me throughout my (long) journey of buying a new home. Every step was explained well and recommendations, support and encouragement provided when needed. We chose Elephant to sell our terraced house in Montpelier as they appeared to have the best local knowledge, both of the market, and the personal experience of living in the area to answer any questions from purchasers. Nick was also the warmest, most friendly, and affable agent of all the companies we asked to value the house. The quality of their photographs was amongst the highest we'd seen, and the sales brochure was also top quality. Their photographer did a fantastic job, and knew just how to present each room in the best way. We liked the flexibility in length of sale contract and fee structure they offered. The house was released on line just before a weekend to catch online weekend browsing, with 3 days of viewings proposed for the weekend after the following week. We had a large number of viewings, but the house was left perfectly clean and tidy at the end of each viewing day. Elephant gave us a detailed list of who was coming each day, with detailed feedback at the end of each day of viewings. As we had several interested parties, some second viewings were arranged, and buyers were invited to submit best and final offers at the end of the following week. Having accepted an offer, the Covid lockdown resulted in the collapse of our chain at both ends. Nick was a beacon of hope at that dark time, never failing in his confidence that we could secure another sale at a good price. Elephant took us through the same procedure again, and we accepted another offer. The team at Elephant were constantly chasing up agents and solicitors in the chain to ensure that all was proceeding as efficiently as possible. Elephant gave a service very far above what we had expected, and were always friendly, helpful, and professional. We loved the family feel in the office, and being made to feel welcome at all times. We are certain that Elephant offer a service well above the normal estate agent experience. We have just sold our house through Elephant and we’re very impressed with the service. Estate agents don’t generally have the best reputation but everyone at Elephant was so nice and friendly and super efficient. Moving house is always a stressful time (particularly in the run up to the stamp duty deadline when the whole sector was under unbelievable pressure) but they were very reassuring and we did feel that we were in safe hands and they had our back. As you would expect they have a really good knowledge of the area and we particularly appreciated having a chat to Ben in advance of making offers on other houses, to get a professional take on pitching our offer. We also never felt under any pressure to do anything we were sure about ( and we did take ages to find the right house) and Ben’s advice that a particular house we had been considering probably wasn’t right for us turned out to be spot on - for which we are very grateful!
