Sam Mcgreevy was efficient and helpful from the start. He kept us informed and was very professional as well as being friendly! When we accepted an offer, Tanya West in the legal dept. Took over our transaction. Again we felt looked after and in safe hands. Tanya dealt with the many communications effectively and helped keep the process on track, through to completion! She was helpful and approachable throughout, helping a stressful experience be a little less stressful!

Our journey started with Lawrence, so friendly and totally professional explaining the house market and getting a competitive valuation for us, succeeding in a sale on the first day! Lisa and her team took over the chasing of our very long chain with regular updates, keeping us sain with her positive, thorough updates. Gemma worked so hard with our troubled chain breaking, as we said one step forward two steps back!! But we made it, with the amazing team at Ocean. Ocean Property Lawyers are a great group of people. Very reassuring, understanding and responsive.As first time buyers we were quite clueless and ended up with a complicated purchase. Ella was thorough throughout and I would absolutely recommend her and the team to all of my friends. The assistants that answered the phones were also friendly, knowledge and always helpful.

GoogleAVOID - Throughout the tenancy they were very slow to resolve any issues with the property and they were not approachable via email. It was not until we cc’d in the relationship manager that we managed to make any progress. Now it has been 5 weeks since we’ve returned our keys and they have failed to return our deposit or provide us with information about getting our deposit back. Will have to proceed with opening a deposit dispute and filing an internal complaint.
We understand that delays in deposit returns can be frustrating. You were informed that the owner intended to claim against your deposit. We apologise for the delay in confirming the total while waiting for invoices. Your property manager is actively working on this matter for both parties and will provide updates. If an agreement cannot be reached within the specified time frames, both the owner and the tenant have the option to allow The TDS to arbitrate.

Having just completed today, the sale of a deceased estate property, with a few complications along the way, and having to contend with very difficult solicitors on the buyers side, I can firmly say I dont think any other agent could have handled and progressed things the way that Ocean did!!Just superb, from start to finish, so professional, sensitive when needed, and always available, we have appreciated it so very much as a family!!Good old fashioned customer service works wonder, and special mention to Melissa Bell, just the absolute best at her job, keeping us informed at every step along the way, we cannot thank you enough!!!The Sheppard/Lloyd family

Myself and my partner recently let a property through Ocean. Amelia dealt with the arrangement of the viewing and what came next after we made an application of the property. She was so so helpful and approachable- we didn’t feel like we couldn’t ask questions and any issues we had she dealt with haste and very professionally. She even managed to organise some furniture for the new unfurnished property through the existing tennats who were getting rid of a few bits which was a great help with our move and made it so much easier. Also a thank you to Will who showed us around the property in great detail! I’d 100% recommend letting through Ocean!

When I found a house I loved and had my offer accepted Tanya the move manager kept me well informed at every point, and was very understanding of the stress of buying a house and took away so much of it. Ocean Estate Agents were flawless from start to finish. We’ve moved before but this was another level and we were quite out of our depth but they were so calm, friendly and efficient it was always a reassuring phonecall to them which we are incredibly grateful for. Also, it’s a real asset to a company when the whole team are great and communicate so well I’m house. we spoke to Liz quite regularly and she was amazing, nothing was too much and she again, was so efficient. Equally when she was off Lisa picked up where she had left off and was always up to date. Joseph was also amazing and attentive, we can’t thank him enough for being so flexible when it came to us viewing our new home multiple times (and this was a lot of visits - bless him!).We would highly recommend Oceans to all our friends and family and owe a massive thank you to them all for being a huge contributor to sealing the deal on our forever home.

The team were helpful and the buying process went very quickly and smoothly. Ashleigh in particularly was really really good, very responsive and clear and her friendly tone of voice was really appreciated. We also arranged the mortgage through the financial services part of Ocean, and Luigi was amazing, and got us a great deal, fantastic service. One minor suggestion on the conveyancing is that it would have been good to get a few more status updates on the online tracker but I think that might just be normal. Overall very happy with the experience.

We have a great experience using Ocean estate agents to sell our property. Stefano is 1st class and always on hand for support and guidance. We were kept informed at all times and we would truly recommend. Our property was on the market for only 1 week before being sold with our property having multiple viewings on a single day. This allowed for us to plan to be out for that day and give the viewing public the chance to see the property in full. We liked to thank Stefano and the team for a job well done.

Although previous experiences using Ocean have been good, unfortunately our recent purchase has been a lengthy process with a number of errors and several requests for clarification. The legal team were very helpful when communicating by telephone but we found the email system frustrating with many emails saying “out of the office until…..”. There were several members of the team dealing with our purchase which meant the whole process felt rather “messy”.

I am a first time buyer and did several property viewings through Ocean. My sales negotiator Oliver Kieran was professional, friendly, and highly communicative every step of the way. I ended up making an offer on one of the properties, which has been accepted, and am now proceeding forward with the purchase! I’m absolutely delighted as the place is beautiful and Oliver got me a great deal on it whilst managing my expectations and answering all of my questions responsively. Sam was absolutely exceptional. As FTBs we struggled to know what we really wanted in a house and often changed our minds but Sam was patient and helpful throughout. We genuinely wouldn't have found the perfect house for us, if it wasn't for his down to earth nature, or his absolute professionalism. He wasn't pushy and never acted like a "salesmen", which helped us to come to our own conclusions. He's a great guy and fantastic estate agent.Thanks Sam!!

GoogleAfter several agonising months of looking for a place in Bristol (with a cat no less), my experience with Ocean was a breath of fresh air! My estate agent Amelia was so friendly, helpful and understanding. Unlike some of the other agencies in Bristol that are currently capitalising on the dire state of the rental market, Ocean seem to play fair (no offers without a viewing, strongly discourage over offering etc). Would massively recommend.

Move Manager advised me of completion date and to change my booking of my preferred removal company.Even though I questioned the feasibility of this - she insisted that all other people on the chain could make this new date. I changed the date only to be told (very soon after) that it wasn’t feasible and we needed to revert to the original date. My preferred removal company then could not move me as someone else had requested the date. I was forced to use a removal company that I never would have chosen and at a considerably higher cost. The experience on the completion date was not pleasant and I hold Ocean accountable for the stress and illness this resulted in for me. I have raised this as a concern but the manner in which it was dealt with was poor.
Unfortunately, completion dates cannot be confirmed until the legal exchange of contracts takes place. Our highly experienced Move Managers consistently provide this advice to the thousands of sellers we assist each year.We have reviewed and made available the transcripts of communications involving the chain above your sale. Specifically, the advice and requests for moving dates made to Ocean Estate Agents by those estate agents and solicitors involved, and where matters fall beyond our remit. I can't say enough good things about Sadie and Sam. We had huge difficulty selling our house due to non-standard construction. But Sam found buyers for us in good time and recommended some steps to take to help with the sale process. Sadie was tireless in her work. She made sure that everyone in the chain was chased and was providing what they needed to in a timely manner. Great communication with us to let us know how things were going. Simply a pleasure to deal with.
