Recently completed my house purchase using Ocean’s (Bristol) mortgage broker and conveyancing services. Richard (mortgage broker) was very helpful in finding the best mortgage deal for me and then processing the application with regular updates. Given the turbulent mortgage market, he researched the market and found the best deal. And at one point when rates went down a bit, he kept an eye and helped me secure that new lower rate with the same lender before the exchange date. He is very helpful and gives great advice on mortgages. Unlike other brokers who take fees from customers as well as commission from lenders, Ocean/Richard offers FREE mortgage broker service to customers. I have used Richard in the past and it has always been an excellent experience. I would highly recommend using his services to anyone reading this.

We both bought and sold our home with Ocean. We then used their solicitors to do the conveyancy on both sides. It was an easy process and the whole thing (buying and selling) took just 15 weeks from initial contact to completion. The whole team worked really hard for us but I'd like to mention 3 people who really went above and beyond. Seamas, Emily and Livia, you all made our lives easier. Thank you

The team were professional, efficient and communicative throughout the process and helped us navigate some hurdles effectively. I had good service and communication throughout with everyone I talked to. They negotiated a good price for my property, and then helped with the process. In particular, the Move Manager Nicola provided an invaluable service in keeping me updated, helping chases solicitors, and move things along. This made the proces much less stressful. I would use Ocean again.

Overall it was a very stress free and efficient process. We viewed the house on a Friday and by the following Monday received confirmation it was ours! The staff were a pleasure to deal with. From those in the estate agency and the solicitors office. Our moving day didn’t go as planned due to the World Wide Web internet problems and phones being down in the local office, but the staff worked hard and we were eventually, and thankfully given the keys very late in the afternoon.
