I am a parent of student using Ocean Homes to rent accommodation. They are quick to take your rent and deposit at the beginning, however the same cannot be said of returning the deposit at the end of the rental period. It is as it they are taking advantage of students. This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do recognise and understand your concerns, which we discussed with you today. We acknowledge that there has been a delay in completing the cleaning and obtaining the necessary invoices to finalise the claim. We are currently liaising with your landlord to confirm the final figures and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. As your tenancy agreement is between you and your landlord, we act on the landlord’s behalf and are required to follow their instructions. Your deposit remains your money and is protected within the relevant deposit protection scheme. We therefore cannot release any proposed deductions without the appropriate agreement, nor can we return the deposit to you until we have received the landlord’s instruction to do so. If an agreement cannot be reached regarding any proposed deductions, the deposit scheme provides an independent dispute resolution process that can be used to resolve the matter. We appreciate your patience while we work to obtain the outstanding information from the landlord and will provide you with the final figures as soon as possible.

GoogleThrough no fault of anyone involved, the sale of my property took nine stressful months to complete! Admittedly, it was an unusually challenging case for a number of reasons, but we got there in the end. My biggest thanks goes to my move manager, Fabiane. She was an absolute tour de force when it came to coordinating everyone involved in the sale process, and her dogged determination to see the sale through was genuinely admirable. She never gave up. Even when the sale seemed on the brink of collapse, she kept things moving. I will be forever grateful for her patience, support and dedication.

GoogleFantastic service from Oli and the team at Ocean in Clifton. I’d had very little interest on my property through an alternative agent prior to switching to Ocean. Oli proactively called customers on his books a generated immediate viewin but stil the property want receiving offers. He then suggested ‘staging’ the empty property rather than a further price drop and, within 3 days, we’d received a chain-free asking-price offer which ultimately resulted in a sale. Oli and the Ocean support team couldn’t have been better. Proactive, engaged, timely and clear communications and kept me on the loop and informed at every stage

We instructed Ocean Estate Agents to sell our property. From the offset their communication was regular, very responsive to any queries we had and gave us weekly progress updates via a dashboard. No request was too much trouble ie help with redirecting of post, and final meter readings etc. The arrangements for viewings were in full consultation with us, recognising there was lots going on. We had numerous viewings and the house was sold within two weeks. The experience for us could not of been any better and we would highly recommend Ocean Estate Agents. We also used Ocean’s solicitors and the experience was of the same high quality. Thank you to all the Staff.

GoogleI work for a relocation agency in China, you know, introduce international students and assist them move in ideally property. The experience to cooperation with Clifton Branch is amazing! Some time students is hard to deal, and due to national reason, we always met question on timing and transfer, but everybody is so kind and patience. Always give us the best and professional support they could. I mainly contact with Lily Amelia Gayle Charlotte and Abbie (Please forgive me if I lost anyone s name since everybody is soo good) If some day I went to Bristol hhh, must met those guy in person, nice agency, worth to trust!

In particular, I would like to thank Nicola who, throughout the whole process, kept in regular and proactive contact and was always happy to answer any questions in a friendly, diligent, and professional manner. Unfortunately my solicitors were quite slow with my case, but with the support from Nicola and the Ocean team I feel that this helped with speeding up the process significantly. Would 100% recommend.
