Good team with the 2 main individuals I worked with over nearly a year really informed (1 sale fell through, no fault), attentive and drove all parties through to a sale. I think with solicitors not always feeling urgency around sales, a good estate agent is crucial. Andrews in Bishopston were this for me, they kept me in the loop as seller and mediated between parties where necessary. I would highly recommend them

She certainly had her work cut, as our sale in the end involved 3 properties.Luckily we chose our own very efficient solicitor, who is brilliant. Sadly our buyers used one of your recommendations, who was absolutely hopeless, and what should have taken 8-10 wks took almost 6 months.Lisa twice as much to sort because of this. Fantastic experience with lovely people

I had a fantastic experience with Andrews.I own a property company but did not have the time to show some of my tenants around. Even though I wasn't looking for full-time management.They were more than happy to see to my needs and show tenants around for me. I tried every other agency in the area and they were not interested. I had a terrible discovery that my previous tenant had left the house in a bad way leaving terrible things including cat feaces on the floor. I had to postpone everything for a few weeks whilst renovating. Hayley and Jasmine were absolutely fantastic. I was so stressed and they were extremely emphatic towards my situation, giving me various options and reassuring me it was going to be okay. I really needed this as it all came at a really inconvenient time and they supported me through it. Thankyou guys!! Xx

During our managed tenancy, Andrews were never totally awful, however, communication was often glacial and labyrinthine. When the person managing maintenance requests for our property moved on, we weren't told, and so we never knew who to speak to. We would send emails about leaks/mould/broken appliances/peeling paint, and get no reply for weeks or months. When we phoned to report the same issues, we were told we'd be phoned back promptly. We weren't. When we phoned again, no one had any record of the initial phone calls. This lead to cyclical and frustrating conversations. Getting basic issues fixed was, a lot of the time, like trying to get a tennis ball to the top of Mt. Everest using only a golf club. We were lucky in that *eventually* things were addressed, and only once or twice did we have extremely urgent things come up (water leaking from light fittings etc). After the end of our tenancy, however, things took a turn for the worse. The Zero Deposit tenancy closeout was protracted beyond belief. The most frustrating thing is this: we told Andrews *exactly* when we would be away for two weeks, and inevitably, we were contacted slap-bang in the middle of our holiday, with the deadline for our reply being before we got back. And so instead of enjoying being away we had to spend an afternoon explaining why photos of a perfectly clean property showed a perfectly clean property. Absurd. Edit in reply to the reply: a) Yes, works were carried out, but having to have loads of maintenance issues fixed across the tenancy is one thing, having to call and email again and again and again to get them to happen is another. b) In total the deposit scheme adjudication took several months. It's totally ridiculous that there was not the option to delay for one or two weeks out of the nearly 16 total that it took between the end of tenancy and the process to finish.

Andrews Lettings are a very easy and very friendly letting agency. I was looked after by Nick Woore, who was extremely responsive and professional. We originally agreed the sale in November, but unfortunately we lost our buyer. The original agreement then fell through but when we managed to sell our house Nick very kindly renegotiated with his seller and resurrected the deal.
