I was in the process of buying a property advertised through them. Waisted 3 months of my life, Lee and Paul were hiding a very crucial information and in the end they admitted that they were helping seller with their financial difficulties. They should never allow for the property to be advertised if the people couldn't effort to move out. I had to pay over £2500 solicitor bill (my mistake for trusting them) as chosen their solicitor recommendation. Solicitor along with Paul and Lee were working together and 100% against me, as a customer.

Brilliant service from a friendly and experienced team! Right from the start Jamie came and organised a great video that completely showcased our house. The attention to detail on the house particulars were clear and the photos taken by Jimmy were excellent. Our house sold very quickly but took a long time to go through due to the bottom of the chain falling through twice. I really believe that if Mansell's had control of the bottom of the chain it would have been a lot smoother but Karl and Andrew did an absolutely fantastic job keeping on top of every aspect of the chain and keeping us informed of progress. If you are considering selling your house, these are the people to sign up with. Highly recommend

Once again Mansell McTaggart have proved themselves to be a poor estate agent. Due to their lack of diligence with checking that finances were fully in place, our house move, which was a relocation for us, have been completely upended at the last minute. I have also dealt with them in the past and have never had a good experience, they don't tell the truth, don't do their job properly and I would recommend that you don't use them. Use someone else.

Rented from Mansell McTaggert. We reported mold nothing done about it, they were not interested. We moved out and paid for a professional cleaning service £330 but they said it was not good enough and and wanted to bring in there own cleaning service and deduct from the deposit. They sent photos two weeks after moving out pointing out stuff that wasn’t even on the exit inspection report. Avoid really unscrupulous people.

Initially all went well. Great photos and floor plan attracted people quickly via Rightmove. But after agreeing a sale, the sales progression process was poor and frustrating. I felt it was more about “managing expectations” rather than prioritising and communication. But we got there in the end but can’t help feeling that was mainly due to other people’s efforts.

Just before the strict 10:00 deadline, I spoke directly with the agent handling offers. He confirmed there were no offers in the £290, £300k region. I then submitted a clear, chain-free offer of £295k, well above that range, and received confirmation of receipt by email. Despite this, the property was sold to someone else with no explanation, no timestamped evidence, and no transparency. I am now gathering evidence, including recorded calls, and will escalate this to The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards to protect my rights and obstruct the sale until the matter is resolved. Buyers deserve fair treatment, not vague denials and procedural silence.

Although I dealt mainly with Sam, who was constantly professional, helpful, always ready to answer questions and nothing was too much trouble, with constant updates, involving a move that has not been the smoothest for myself. In fact, I would say over and above in some instances.
Whole team were excellent in communication and customer care when Sam wasn't available. They not only clearly care about, and listen to their customers but also communicate between themselves.

Uckfield Branch - What an awful Estate Agency. Asked to view 2 properties on Saturday morning, told them more than happy to attend without them tagging along and the sales person (male) was anything but helpful. made up so many excuses and totally inflexible or helpful I simply advised that his Vendors should know how bad they are AND I would not bother viewing based on how awful my experience was with him.
I sincerely hope potential seller sand buyers heed my warning - why would you turn buyers away? If you are selling ever wondered why you are not getting viewings? Just how low can Estate Agency get?

We Wouldn't use these again. We were rushed through our property Viewing and wasn't given the opportunity to view the Garage and Loft space to see the boiler, but as we liked the property we decided to put in an offer which was £5000 over the entry price. After we submitted a fair offer based on what we saw of the property, the Estate Agents then looked at our financials and tried to instigate a bidding war amongst buyers by claiming that we were £10.000 lower than everyone. This made me sick and I just found it dishonest. They wanted an extra £10.000 on top of the £5.000 we had already offered. We pulled out of the sale and retracted our offer. When asked why I had done this, I told them that I didn't appreciate there sales tactics, to which they replied "it's not sales tactics it the law" which is Actually untrue. They are not legally bound to reveal the other offers, they just don't want to. When you submit your financials to these swindlers, they will use them against you and try to pressure you into using all of your mortgage amount. It is already very difficult if you are a first time buyer, trying to stump up a deposit and now also the Stamp Duty. These people do not care about this, they are only interested in there commission and how much of your money they can get. Disgusting behaviour. Furthermore I posted this review on Trustpilot and Google and when the Director of the Horsham branch saw it, he posted his reply and purposely posted our identities' out of spite breaching GDPR. When we asked him to remove our names he flat out refused. I deleted the review and reposted it. ICO have been informed.

I am surprised at the negative reviews by sellers. My wife and I are landlords who over 20 years had become so disillusioned by the appalling service by letting agents in Wealden compared to our agents in other areas that, after recovering yet another smashed up property we decided to manage our portfolio ourselves. This was such a drain on our time and energy that we decided to sell the Wealden portion through Mansell McTaggart in course of which we were introduced to their letting team, and so decided to hand management to them while their colleagues arranged our property sales.The letting service proved so excellent that we cancelled our sales, and for the first time in 20 years we feel we are getting the expertise and professionalism we pay for.
