He was very professional , efficient, and his warm smiley attitude took the stress out of the sale. It is clear that the branch is exceptionally well-run under Julian the branch manager. We wished we'd used them first

Mansell McTaggart were the third estate agent we worked with during our sale, and honestly, we only wish we’d gone with them from the start. From the moment they took over, the difference was clear. Communication was consistent, proactive and genuinely reassuring, rather than reactive or vague. We always knew what was happening and felt fully supported through every stage of the process. What stood out most was that they truly acted in our best interests. There was a level of care and integrity that’s rare in this market, and it made a huge difference during what has been a challenging time to sell. There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am to the Mansell McTaggart team - a particularly big thanks to Greg who was so incredibly helpful. From our very first viewing of the property until the moment we received the keys, the team were on hand to answer any questions we had. Their communication is excellent, we never struggled to get hold of them and received prompt responses throughout, with regular check ins both via emails and telephone calls. Greg provided us with answers to the many questions that we had on the process and was the calm voice of reason through some stressful times (despite this being no fault of Mansell’s!) It is very clear that the team are genuinely passionate about what they do and want to making the moving process as seamless and stress free as possible. This is something we really did appreciate. A friendly and accommodating team

We have just bought a house through Mansell McTaggart Storrington. Joanna, Mark and the team have been great. They have been our faithful advocates through a lengthy process, and genuinely shared our delight and relief when it all finally came good. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is because we were relocating some distance, and to start with they seemed slightly bemused by us wanting subsequent visits to the house when we were in the area (sometimes at quite short notice, to be fair!). This is probably applicable to many estate agents - buyers need more than 15 minutes in a house to make the purchase of a lifetime! But I don't want that to detract from a good review overall - we soon became friends and they accommodated many a visit, as well as visits from tradespeople and keeping an eye on the house while it was empty - so they went above and beyond in the end. Buying and selling a house is not for…

Buying and selling a house is not for the faint hearted and I was very close to giving up on selling my house, but Mansell and McTaggart in Hove came through when it really mattered. Their communication throughout the process was excellent, their marketing (videos ) made a huge impact on getting the right buyer through the door and I always felt informed and supported. A special call-out to Joanna, their brilliant sales progressor, who was instrumental in keeping the chain together at a very crucial stage. Liam Smith was absolutely fantastic to deal with from start to finish. When we booked to view what is now our new home, he was incredibly helpful and provided all the information we needed. Disinterest all the way…

After researching the local estate agency market, when we were looking to sell my dad’s home, Mansell McTaggart Copthorne seemed to be the best solution. However, since putting it on the market in January we have now moved to another estate agents. Although we had an offer earlier in the process (that fell through, through no fault of MM), the lack of effort and communication following this was staggering. No interest, no feedback and they had to be chased on every little detail. Viewings feedback was non existent and my advice to others looking locally for an estate agents in and around Crawley is avoid this bunch. Zero motivation and even less interest!

We would Highly Recommend Mansell McTaggart in Brighton for their total thoroughness. We purchased our home through the Patcham Branch, and Fenton, was thoroughly efficient. We sold again through Mark Williams, who was Exemplary. Mark was thorough and on the ball from the point of valuation, throughout the viewings and the sales progression. My experience with Mansell McTaggart…

My experience with Mansell McTaggart was, from start to finish, extremely disappointing. I was both buying and selling through them, and the entire process was stressful for all the wrong reasons. The only member of staff I would recommend is Rhys. He was professional, helpful, and one of the few people who communicated properly throughout the process. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was poor. Jamie Glew, despite being a partner, came across as rude and dismissive whenever I had to deal with him. I expected a much higher standard of customer service from someone in such a senior position. Communication throughout the transaction was consistently lacking. Even something as simple as collecting the keys to my new property became unnecessarily difficult, and rather than trying to help, staff were rude and unaccommodating. The mortgage brokers they work with were equally frustrating. Their communication was extremely poor, I regularly had to call numerous times before I could actually speak to someone or receive an update. Chasing them became a full-time job. What concerned me most was my experience with the first mortgage broker. During my application, I discovered that details of my purchase and personal circumstances had been discussed with my relatives because the broker claimed to have a "good friendship" with them. I found this completely unacceptable and deeply concerning from a confidentiality and data privacy perspective. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Buying and selling a home is stressful enough without having to deal with poor communication, unprofessional behaviour, and a lack of respect for clients. I would not recommend Mansell McTaggart based on my experience, with the sole exception of Rhys, who was the only person who consistently demonstrated professionalism and genuine customer care.

Two lost sales, no admin, poor communication and bitter termination.

Cuckfield branch. Took my property on in July 24 and I never got any viewing confirmations for any of the viewings that took place Only when I asked for updates did they tell me “oh we have a viewing tomorrow” but no details about the viewers name or position were ever provided, unless they became an offer. I wasn’t informed about surveyor visits as is my right and part of the code of practice for estate agents and lights were left on for weeks and mail left sat on the doormat. Because the house was unoccupied, and I live in a different county, it appeared that they didn’t think I needed communication, and that it was acceptable to give me updates only when I asked for them. And then tell me “nothing was ever good enough” when I expressed my frustration. Two sales were agreed and both fell through- I was told the second sale was being slow because of the searches from the chain below, but after research realised this was not the truth. The council had set up a new system to expedite searches! I assume that it was because the sale was not as progressed as I had been informed upon offer. When I informed them of my findings my communications were ignored. The sale fell through weeks after. One lost sale is unfortunate, two looks to be a pattern of poor chain management or due diligence. There was no hunger to push either sale through or stay on top of the chain, unless I badgered for it. My house remained off the market for a month whilst the second buyer tried to find a new buyer. When I asked for updates I was met with contempt because “they would be told if a buyer was found.” It was clear that my expectation of some form of update or communication was met with extreme annoyance. I took the property off the market with them in December 24, and received a very bitter email from their agent. Since then, they haven’t communicated once with me, not even to send a formal termination letter, or a list of viewings that took place with them, as is required by the code of practice. They were clear to communicate, however, that should any of the anonymous viewings progress to a sale that a fee would still be liable! The viewing list was only sent to the new agent and not to me as the property owner. I’m still waiting for it. It’s appalling. If I were to use three words to describe my experience with this agent I’d say greedy, dormant and caustic.

Crowborough people stay away from Lee and Paul!

I was in the process of buying a property advertised through them. Waisted 3 months of my life, Lee and Paul were hiding a very crucial information and in the end they admitted that they were helping seller with their financial difficulties. They should never allow for the property to be advertised if the people couldn't effort to move out. I had to pay over £2500 solicitor bill (my mistake for trusting them) as chosen their solicitor recommendation. Solicitor along with Paul and Lee were working together and 100% against me, as a customer.
