A class act from start to finish

A class act from start to finish... I would highly recommend Oli from Lextons. It goes without saying estate agents have a reputation for being “typical sales people” and judging from the first few I met they sadly matched those stereotypes, which is why it was so genuinely refreshing to meet Oli and experience his honest, calm and considered approach at every point throughout the negotiations. Timely, organised and a true gent. I very much hope he stays in the business as, if I ever come to sell a property in the future, I will be calling him first.

Just sold a property in auction for the first time. The experience from start to finish was explanatory. Every email and phone call got an immediate response (What a breath of fresh air). Having zero knowledge of the process, Simon guided me through at every stage, constantly keeping me updated, any worries or reservations were perfectly explained. In fact I never needed to worry. I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism, knowledge and personal touch Simon gives. If I sell a property again through Auction, I will definitely use Lextons.

Avoid, A Rude Dishonest Agent!

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! Having viewed a property previously the same week with Lextons I was amazed to be told whilst on a viewing we would not be considered for any offers made unless we list our sale with them as opposed to an alternative estate agent. The sales man Oliver was incredibly rude to my wife and I too when we refused to consider his ultimatum, he even swore at us. We were also told the property we were interested in had multiple offers on but still remains on the market a month later, bonkers! I'm sure the seller of the property would love to know that Lextons booked us in for a viewing and didn't even let us view it when we turned up.

The personal service I received with my agent, Claudia, was brilliant. Everything went well from the photographer to final brochure and organising of a 'blitz' weekend of viewings. With the safety restrictions for Covid adding to the overall organisation.I would highly recommend Lextons.

Lextons have been amazing, they live up to their reputation 100 percent . They got us many viewings on our property , they communicated every step of the way with honest feedback and always remained positive and helpful through our whole process. They offer a very friendly and personal service which is just what you need when going through selling and buying ! We’ve just recently sold our property…

We’ve just recently sold our property through Lextons and our overall experience was fantastic! Ollie and George helped us in the initial stages with getting the house onto the market and sold. We had constant communications and when our first buyers unfortunately pulled out on the day of exchange, they already had a list of people to view it within a day and within less than a week we had a new buyer! We were so grateful for their hard work and dedication to getting things back on track. Karen then dealt with the sale and again, we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Karen was always in touch, easy to talk to and proactive in helping us understand what was happening in the chain and what the next steps were. Good quality service and attention to detail.

We were very impressed by the quality of service provided by Lextons. Peter Phillips met with us initially and was very efficient in setting things up for us. The attention to detail was exceptional. Peter's team are impressive. Ollie and Georgia kept us informed about viewings and gave us regular feedback. Once an offer had been accepted and the sale was progressing, Karen Franks picked up the after sales process and did an amazing job for us. We were kept well informed by her and if communication with the solicitor became stuck, Karen would pursue the information we needed. We would highly recommend this estate agent.

Excellent service

Lextons is a fantastic agent and as a buyer I was very impressed at the level of service they gave. Peter helped negotiate the offer on the property and managed to secure it for me when it looked like it would fall through. George was very friendly and helpful during viewings, and Karen did a fantastic job overseeing the purchase and moving it forward to completion. I was particularly impressed at how pro-active Karen was, emailing me almost every week with updates and keeping in touch with both solicitors. Finally an agent I didn't have to "chase" but who took the initiative throughout! Any concerns and questions were responded to promptly - an outstanding level of customer service.The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is this: Buyers should be aware that once they have an offer accepted on a property, the policy at Lextons is that the property will NOT be shown as "Sold STC" online, as most other estate agents would show it at this point. This means that the property you're hoping to buy will still appear as available to anyone searching online (whether on Rightmove or other sites). Lextons do promise that they won't conduct any further viewings on the property - they just take contact details for anyone who's interested in case the sale should fall through. However, as a buyer I found this added an unnecessary layer of anxiety for me, as I felt it increased the possibility of my offer being gazumped after I was already financially and emotionally invested in the property. So if you're a buyer, just be aware of this, and if you're a seller, it should work in your favour.But otherwise I couldn't fault the level of service Lextons provided and would highly recommend them.

I can't speak highly of Lextons

I can't speak highly enough of Lextons. They helped us to sell our property a couple of months ago. From start to finish impressive and professional (so much better than the previous agent we had tried) I love the fact they have all of the sales team round to walk through the house with the owner, it means they can actually sell the property rather than just show people round. They priced our property fairly and got us a great price in a challenging market. From top to bottom advice was given and issues overcome, Peter Phillips was great hearing our issues with onward purchase and offering genuine and trust worthy advice. Oli Lucraft, for actually selling our house. Karen Franks, you were amazing in keeping the sale in place and chasing up and down the chain to the right extent (not like the agent we bought from, they were horrendous). I cannot thank you all enough and will only recommend Lextons to anyone buying or selling.

We are simply delighted that we used Lextons! They managed the whole sale and purchase process for us with professionalism and the utmost care. Peter and James guided us through the initial stages, explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. From here, Karen took over the main negotiations and was incredible - the only way to describe it. Karen kept us informed every step of the way and when some unforeseen complications arose with the sale, she managed these calmly and with great skill. From the minute I switched my Estate Agent to Lextons I knew I had made the right decision. Lextons generated significantly more viewings than any other agent I had previously. Amazing service!

Amazing service!Have just exchanged on a flat marketed by Lexton's. George Meyer was great in getting me in to see it immediately, and getting an offer accepted very quickly. Karen Franks then took over the process from the accepted offer to exchange/completion, and she was amazing.Although the vendor was obviously Lexton's client, the service I received as a buyer was incredible. Karen kept me updated throughout the process, particularly when my solicitors were busy. Her knowledge of the legal aspects of buying/selling property was impressive, and she was able to explain each step of the process to me in a way that made sense, and to alert me to specific points in the process where my input would be needed so that we could progress the purchase quickly.Karen responded to all of my questions in a very timely fashion, and did everything possible to make the process as smooth as possible. Excellent, professional service.

After months of frustration trying to sell our property with another estate agent we received a brochure from Lextons and decided to give them a call. From that day everything changed and it was like a breath of fresh air talking to Peter, James, Georgia and Mia. Lextons have been very helpful keeping us up to date with viewings and feedback. Tina, the branch manager, in the Kemptown branch of Lextons was absolutely fantastic at every stage of our purchase. She facilitated the negotiation stage being fair to both vendor and purchaser. Unless Lextons is advertising your dream home pass them by

It is good to find an Estate Agent that likes to do things face to face and not use the phone. So much so that they refuse to answer the phone or return calls. This agent also leaves properties for sale on Rightmove even when they are under offer which makes it a waste of time looking at their adverts only to be told the property is under offer. This practice makes me ignore Lextons when I am looking to buy and if I ever made an offer on a property to know that they are still advertising it does not inspire me with commitment to the purchase. Unless Lextons is advertising your dream home pass them by as there are other more committed agents out there. And as a vendor why go to an agent that does not answer the phone to prospective buyers, a waste of time and money. Lextons need more professional staff and better customer service. BEING UNABLE TO LOCATE MY RECORDS IS YET ANOTHER ISSUE WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICES AND ADDS TO MY REVIEW ABOVE. I WOULD SAY AVOID BUT THEY ALREADY DO THIS BY NOT PICKING UP THE PHONE
