GoogleAlways got things sorted within a few days of email, including when our oven broke and when our door wouldn't lock! The agency were always so friendly and helpful. Despite the large chunk being taken from our deposits, I felt they treated us with respect (which is more than can be said for my current letting agency). Honestly could not recommend more!

GooglePrevious reviewers must of left on bad terms with g4, but in all honesty, if you follow the systems they have in place for repairing things, and upkeep of the property, they are actually quite good. Was with them for two years and only had a few problems largely due to me and my housemates not contacting them about problems with the house.

GoogleG4Lets literally took most of our deposit at the end of our tenancy for absolutely ridiculous reasons as the house was already in a terrible condition.
Hi Klaudija, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the deposit returns process. Unfortunately, if the property and items inside are damaged by the tenants or aren’t left in a suitably clean condition, we are required to send independent contractors to rectify the issues found by the independent inventory company prior to the next tenancy. We're quite confused by your remark about the house being in an 'already terrible condition', as the property was in a good condition when the tenancy began. When an item of cleaning or repair is found by the inventory company to be the responsibility of the tenant, we must deduct the associated cost from the security deposit, although these weren’t for ‘ridiculous reasons’, nor was this the ‘majority’ of your deposit. You’ll find that this process is followed by all agencies. We aim to be incredibly transparent with this process, supplying tenants with the relevant invoices and giving multiple warnings far in advance that the property must be returned to inventory condition prior to your check out. GoogleWorst agency that I have ever had the misfortune of contacting with. There are lots of hidden fees, the staff try to trick you into paying for things which are not in your contract and they are incredibly rude and unhelpful. It also takes them ages to fix whatever needs fixing in the house. Be sure to avoid them.

GoogleDeal with repairs and issues very quickly, most the time sending people out the next day. Very helpful staff and all of the electritions/gas men etc have all been wonderful. Haven't had to get my deposit back yet so not sure of any issues that might happen at the end of tenancy, but so far so good!!

GoogleWe have had no issues with G4 Lets, they are always quick to respond to any issues we have. Our boiler broke over the winter and was fixed that evening. The quality of the house is really good, nice and large, bright and good location. We are staying for another year - Nothing bad to say

GoogleHaving recently moved to Brighton, I cannot speak highly enough of the team at G4 Lets. They found me a really comfortable shared house very quickly and gave me a lot of local area advice and info to help me settle in. I am absolutely loving it down here in Brighton and would recommend G4 to fellow freshers!

GoogleSo far so good, G4 are very quick to respond and repair things on the same day in some cases. The staff are very friendly and give us advice on how to avoid extra costs. The house is pretty good for a student house. Yet to see how much is taken off our deposit though.

GoogleThe staff are clueless and downright some of the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. We as tenants had an issue with the house we live in and the land lord and this agency have provided nothing but hassle and automated emails. They are useless and I would NOT recommend at all.

GoogleSlow to respond to problems, took £500 from our student house for “cleaning” even though we had had it professionally cleaned and it was spotless. Then refuse to answer any emails or phone calls properly about it. Awful agency that scam students like mad

GoogleG4Lets have been so helpful, they have relied to our emails quickly and sent people round the same day to fix any problems we have. They are reasonable and so far haven’t charged us unnecessarily. They are friendly and willing to help.

GoogleDO NOT RENT FROM G4 LETS. They will scam you for every penny that they can. They took most of mine and my housemates' deposits unfairly despite our dispute. They treat students like idiots that they can treat poorly without argument.

GoogleDespite all the complaints, G4Lets has been the best Agency in Brighton in my 3 years of living here. Always will respond quickly to repairs and never have I experienced an issues with losing money regarding deposits. Would recommend!

GoogleG4 staff have alway been polite and helpful. They have some great property's on there books at great prices. I have found they maintain there accommodation to a high standard and act fast on reported issuess.
