Jack was absolutely fantastic while selling our flat. We had a few hiccups along the way (unrelated to Whitlock and Heaps) but his knowledge and patience really appeased a lot of our stress when it was greatly needed! He always remained totally professional with both us and our buyers. We really liked how it was only ever Jack who did our viewings, meaning we were confident that potential buyers were given all the information about our property rather than from a third party employer with very little knowledge about it. We have experienced this a lot when viewing other properties with other agents. He even gave us advice about a property we wanted to buy and how best to approach it. What an absolute pleasure it was to commit the sale of our flat to Whitlock and Heaps. From our first meeting with Jack Fisk he was clear about where the flat stood in the market and listened very carefully to our opinions. He priced it in such a way as to to give potential buyers the opportunity to make sensible offers. We had previously been on the market with a much larger agent and found that they overpriced it and lost interest very quickly when it didnt sell immediately. W&H were much more involved, were honest, kept us informed, and found us another buyer quickly when the first buyer fell through. We first came across Whitlock and Heaps when we purchased our home here in Hove in 2013. We met Jack back then who came across as an absolute professional, and a straightforward agent to deal with, and we instantly liked him. Recently we sold a property with Whitlock and Heaps and once again Jack, his father Peter and sister Sonya, and all the staff have been fantastic. Whitlock and Heaps have been the best estate agents I have ever worked with - Jack and Peter just ‘get it’ and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From the outset, Jack was extremely straightforward to deal with. He gave honest, realistic advice and feedback regarding marketing our property in Poet's Corner. He was very proactive; our house sold very quickly and when our original buyer pulled out very early on in the process, Jack sold our house to our eventual buyers the same day. Highly recommend Whitlock and Heaps Estate agents. They’re a family run business with over 70 years experience of buying and selling properties. That’s what the website says and yes it’s true! After trying to sell our home for 10 weeks by another agent we changed to Whitlock and Heaps who sold our home almost immediately plus managed to negotiate the flat I wanted to buy! They’re reactive and proactive. Every phone call was returned the same day from the moment we went on their books to completion. They kept us informed and didn’t give us false expectations like others had. I felt confident everything would run smoothly and it did. Jack and the team are friendly, welcoming despite being super busy they always dealt with any questions we had the same day in person or by phone call. You only have to drive around Hove and Poets corner to see their success rate for yourselves. We are settled and happy in our new home thanks to Jack and the team. I had my name down for a property for two months, and they gave it to someone else, without even contacting me. I left messages and they didn't return my calls. And when I spoke to Peter about this today, he was so rude to me and didn't care in the slightest. Will never use this company. They don't even deserve one star. It just proves they are about money and they don't care who they hurt to get it. i hope their new tenant doesn't pay them rent.

Jack (and the rest of the team) were fantastic from start to finish. They listened to us at the first meeting and understood that we loved our house and didn't want to list it for more than it was worth only for people to come and kick tyres and knock money off (unlike other agents in the area). We advertised our house for the right price and had lots of interest, and were happy to accept an offer of the asking price from someone who clearly loved the house as much as we did. There were a couple of hiccups through the sale process due to events further down the chain, but Jack and the guys kept us calm throughout and reassured us that everything would be ok, which, of course it was! I would recommend these guys to anyone, they really are a credit to themselves and the industry. Thanks!

Having experienced almost all of the other agents in the area, Peter really stood out to us in his kindness, efficiency and reasonable approach to the rental market. We came back to them as homeowners and Jack valued our home twice when we needed him to. There was no pressure and nothing was too much trouble. He offered extremely competitive rates and was the epitome of professionalism when we eventually opted to go with another agent because they'd provided a higher valuation (which ultimately had to be dropped to sell).
