GoogleI have rented with Witlock and Heaps for over 4 years, they have always been very kind and professional. Whenever there was something to fix they would act promptly and send someone to check. Highly recommend. Thanks Jack, Marie and team.

GoogleContext - INTERNATIONAL WORKING MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL; Application started 2 weeks ago, Holding Fee had been supplied and received. Lived in Hove previously, used Sawyer and Co. no issues. Found a flat with a colleague who is being managed by Whitlock and Heaps; whom used TenRef as their referencing service, the most profound incompetency and waste of time I have yet to experience with a Real Estate Agency. Consistent dishonesty and duplicitous coercion were found while dealing with this agency. Two major instances noted were the blatant lying about trying to establish correspondence with myself or my colleague when no records of Phone calls or Emails were recorded (Inbox, Junk, or Spam) and then having the impertinence to coerce us to accelerate the process by threatening us with a "interested third party" while trying to avoid the Holding Fee agreement, while stating "the landlord is getting impatient". Now, we are left with less than a week to the start from scratch and look for a new flat. All future business will be avoided with Whitlock and Heaps, I advise you all to do the same if you wish to save time, breath and braincells.
Anthony I understand your frustration that we did not proceed with you taking this property, however I am surprised to see this scathing review. As my colleague explained to you yesterday the landlord decided they did not want to proceed with you taking the apartment due to the findings on your failed referencing application. The initial referencing was sent to you two weeks ago today (24.07) but you did not fully complete the application form correctly until the 29.07 due to an incorrect address hence the process taking as long as it did. With regards to your previous letting experience the results will have been different as your circumstances have since changed relating to one of the reasons for your referencing having failed. If we had been made aware of these points initially then neither your time or ours would have been wasted. My client is now left with a longer void period and we are at a financial loss due to the referencing applications. It was of no benefit to us or our client to find ourselves in this situation. You are also incorrect in your comments relating to the holding fee as these monies have been refunded to the account details given to us yesterday which you are aware of. Jack Fisk

GoogleBuying a property in the England is generally quite stressful due to the amount of complex work required to go through the process and the passion to complete on the property you have chosen. Jack and his colleagues at Whitlock & Heaps were a pleasure to always deal with, nothing was ever too much effort for them. I was always kept informed through the process and offered professional advice when needed. I highly recommend Jack and his team for anyone dealing with property in their area of business and look forward to the next time when I am needing their services again.

GoogleI had a great experience selling with Whitlock & Heaps. The process was seamless from start to finish (the sale went through in 7 weeks!) The team were extremely attentive - Edward in particular went above and beyond with out of hours messages and updates. Their market knowledge is exceptional - there isn’t much Jack doesn’t know about the Hove housing market - he took the time to understand all of the intricate details that made the house unique and understood the value I saw when I bought it. The marketing was excellent, I was particularly impressed with the time taken on the photos and the advertising which really brought the house to life. Whitlock & Heaps found the perfect buyer who really loved the house so we had every confidence the sale would go through smoothly!

GoogleAs first time buyers we cannot recommend Whitlock and Heaps enough. We had had a poor experience before buying our current property and the difference when we were dealing with Whitlock and Heaps was enormous. Our purchase was not without problems but Jack was always communicative, responsive and essentially held our hand through the stressful process. He went above and beyond being in almost daily contact and coming up with solutions to the seemingly constant problems we were experiencing with a solicitor. 5 star service, you couldn't ask for a better estate agent. GoogleI have frequently had disappointing experiences with estate agents so was blown away by the service we received at Whitlock & Heaps. Edward was really helpful, honest and timely with our initial viewings - as was anyone I spoke to in the office. Once negotiations were underway, Jack became invaluable to helping us buy our first home - he was realistic, gave great advice and was always available when we needed him. Couldn't recommend W&H more and will definitely use them when we eventually sell.

GoogleJack is the best estate agent I have used. I asked him to sell my flat because he was the estate agent when I bought and I was so impressed. He is the opposite of the clichéd pushy young estate agent who doesn't really know anything. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful and professional.
