TrustpilotExtremely disappointing experience with Hamptons at Whyteleafe House
I rented my property through them and remained in contact throughout my tenancy, including during a prolonged and serious noise issue from a neighbouring flat. Despite repeated complaints over many months, communication was largely limited to messages being passed back and forth, with no clear ownership or meaningful resolution.

Paul and the team at Hamptons are truly fantastic, particularly Jocelyn who is the Property Manager for my properties. If there was an option for 6 stars then they would get it. They have taken all of the stress out of letting out my flat as a first time landlord. The whole process has been incredibly clear throughout and the team are incredibly knowledgeable regarding all of the obligatory rules and regulations. Nothing is too much for them. I am incredibly happy with the service provided by Paul and his team and could not recommend them more highly.

I would like to add more than 5 stars for Hanna Hornstein, a kind person is always available. With Hanna if I have a problem with my apartment, she always manages to solve it and find the solution. We have worked with Hamptons, for many years and can say that without question they are a very professional company. Property Manager Harjeet Kaur is extremely helpful and has an excellent understanding of the relationships between Landlords, tenants and contractors suppyling services. It can be very difficult to keep eveyone happy at the same time, and this is made very much easier by Harjeets communication and attention to detail. We highly recommend Hamptons, Harjeet and the team.

We have had a horrible 5 year experience of Hamptons. Moving to another agency, thankfully!They are awful. Treat renters terribly, as if you are lucky they allow you to stay in their placesI would not recommend them to my worst enemy!They initially tried to move us into a house that had not even been cleaned! Things went downhill from there!

GoogleHaving sold a Grade 1 house previously with Hamptons I had a feeling they would be the right agency to sell my period property in central Brighton for me...and I was right ! They found me the perfect buyer and the whole sale process went through quickly and without a hitch- the whole team at Hamptons were there whenever I needed a question answered Definitely recommended !

Firstly, quick response and assistance from Morgan to view the property was great. He helped us with timely updates and lady who supported in his absence was equally good. Then our experience with Property Manager Lucy has been excellent in fixing services issues we had when we moved in. I should not be missing out on 'Just Move In' team who helped setup necessary services for home. I am glad I found Hamptons and will come back to Hamptons for my future needs.

GoogleBrilliant work by the Hove Hamptons office, and in particular from our contact there, Dominique Lennon, who worked really hard to make our new tenancy agreement a reality. Dominique was friendly, professional at all times and was great to work with. We also liked that all the tenancy documents, property management details etc. are all handled very thoroughly and are accessible online at all times. Very impressive all round.

I would like to thank Hamptons team who took great care and excellent service of my property at Roehampton House since 2014-2022. Since then, I have gone through a couple of property managers which were all great but I would like to give a shout out to Minneaux Schandorf, the current property manager at Roehampton House whom we are very privilege to have known. We have not met personally but his service is above and beyond expectations. He has accorded me and my family with so much help and guidance during our move/transition. He seems like a very selfless person and needless to say, excellent in his job. With people like Minneaux and his team by your side , you will be in good hands either as tenant or landlord. We rented a property through Hamptons who provided an exceptional service. When our landlord decided to sell the property, Hamptons went out of their way to find another property for us. I would particularly like to mention Sophie Winterson who managed to balance being professional along with patience, understanding and kindness. She went out of her way to ensure there was a smooth transition between houses, liaising with our old landlord and our new landlord - Sophie did this with positivity and cheerfulness. I cannot recommend Sophie, and the whole team at Hamptons, highly enough.

Hanna has been an excellent property manager, coupling her keen attitude to care for others along with a problem-solving attitude that always leads to swift action. I’ve been liaising with Hanna for the last year or so and have had quite a few issues at my flat, which Hanna responded to very quickly and resolved effectively. She takes the time to listen to the issues, suggests any quick resolution based on her experience of similar issues and when it’s not in her hands, she escalates the issues appropriately. I also appreciate that she keeps me in the loop on the various steps when arranging any repairs and also takes the time to sympathise with the situation. It’s been evident that Hanna cares for the tenants and acts as their representative when speaking to landlords - an example of this was when she negotiated a compensation for me in response to some of the persistent issues at my flat.

We were delighted with Hamptons. Meeting all the key personnel in the Stratford upon Avon office gave us the confirmation and confidence that we had selected the right agency for us and our property.Both Owen and Jacob then came to our home to learn and appreciate the key selling benefits of our home as well as understanding why we wanted to sell. The selling process was explained to us and all literature approved...The house was put on the market on the Monday. Blocked viewings were organised for the Thursday and Saturday.Offers came in on the following Monday and we went to sealed and final bids on the Wednesday. All was done and dusted in 10 days!We accepted one of the three offers on the table; all three were well over the "offers over" price and we were delighted with the final selling price and the speed of the sale.Owen, who managed our sales process and negotiations, was always available, reassuring and communicative.When Owen replies immediately to your WhatsApp message at 10.00pm at night, you know he's on the case and has your best interests at heart.All in all, a positive, pro-active and pleasant experience.
