Update 16/8 - following my initial 3* review, it was good to speak to a staff member from Letchworth Cinch today, who was able to help with better storage costs. Thank you and 5* from me.First Review:On the plus side, very helpful and flexible staff at two different locations, in well run, clean and efficient facilities.On the other hand rental costs are high and have increased twice over the last year. Unfortunately this seems to be the same everywhere.

Cinch Storage Brighton. It's been a surprisingly low hassle storage rental! The staff here are friendly and competent, in particular Stuart, who I've mostly been dealing with, is a lovely chap. I would definitely recommend Cinch storage in Brighton, it's reasonably priced and in a good location.

PLEASE AVOID This business overcharges and when questioned gives you a weeks notice to vacate leaving huge costs when speaking with Ajay CEO he just don’t care. We are sorry that you believe that there were issues regarding the service you received.We strive to provide competitive and transparent pricing to all of our customers, including customers, such as yourself who have been at the facility for years, before Cinch Storage took over the store from the previous owner.After speaking with the team and reading through the emails and notes on your account, the team noted that they tried several times to find a resolution for you, attempting to explain the charges to your account.That being said, the team also noted that you entered the store one day in an extremely threatening manner. You then told the team you’d be back after “grabbing a crowbar” from your vehicle. We take threats or aggressive behaviour very seriously, as they violate our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for everyone, our team and customers alike. It is regrettable that you felt the need to express your frustration in such a manner. We kindly request that all interactions with our team members remain respectful and constructive, allowing us to address any concerns promptly and effectively.I do note that your refund of £89.00 took 2 days, which is usually not the case. I can only apologise for this, and we have reviewed our procedures to ensure that all our customer receive refunds in a prompt and effortless manner.Ajay, did email you back apologising several times, to come to a resolution, all of which were denied and met with threats to leave “lots of bad reviews,” all of which were removed by Google. We appreciate your feedback and if you require our services in the future, we’d be happy to assist you. I have had my furniture in storage with Cinch at Chippenham for a number of months. Although Cinch were slightly more expensive that some other options, I liked the clean and dry storage units; the fact that there was someone on site every day; I could access my unit after work and on weekends and also there were cameras and alarms every time a unit was opened. The staff on site were very helpful in securing me the right size unit when I needed it and also being very flexible with my moving in and out dates. All the staff were great, but most of my dealings were with Andrew, who was always friendly, professional and very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cinch.

Great storage and even better for office use, would definetly recommend as they're the best local to essex, I've pulled my stuff out of other storage units elsewhere as safety was compromised or customer service was neglected but at cinch Brentwood I always feel like I'm greeted with a friendly welcome and whenever there's a new face working they always adapt and learn quickly so I've never run into problems

Ive been a customer of Cinch Storage (previously The Secure Store) for just over 7 years now. I cant fault the staff or customer service i recieve at the Leighton Buzzard branch. I receive deliveries on a daily basis and they are always put in my unit. If I have a request regarding a delivery or i'm waiting for something that i need for a job the staff are more than happy to pass on my request or call me when a certain item has arrived. Great staff and a well deserved 5*s

I've recently organised storage at the Newbury branch, and I am beyond impressed. The team have been super friendly and helpful with every step of the process. The storage unit is clean and easily accessible. The use of trollies to easily transfer goods was a great help when moving things into the unit. The branch offered free use of a transit van to move goods into the storage unit. This was a huge selling point for me using the company and it didn't disappoint. I fit all my goods into the van so could transfer it all in one trip, and the process of organising it was quick and easy. I will be organsing the van to use when I move out the storage unit as well. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Me and my family, have recently been faced with a section 21 no faults evictions notice from our landlord, as he planned to sell the property we are renting. We spoke with Jason and Arron of Cinch self storage. They were very understanding helping us all the way. Any issues they provided expert and friendly advice. Will definitely recommend the services they provide and if we happen to need to use self storage again they will be the company we use 100%.
