Since the 1st time I moved to the UK last year and was looking for rental options, I was able to finalize my current place of stay virtually all the way from Dubai with the outstanding help provided by Thorgills. They went out of the way to conduct more than one video calls with me, so that I can really have a hard look at the house. I was able to therefore finalize by sitting miles away. While that was the 1st part, the other chapter was when I moved into the house. This is where Haffeeza went out of the way to help ous family settle into the new house. She was always available and supportive. She was able to solve my queries and provide an appropriate solution to my problems. I have lived in London 7 years and moved five times for various reasons. Thorgills has been head and shoulders above any of the other agents I have used. Thorgills went over and above with my flat sale. The sales team worked really hard to get me an offer I was happy with as quickly as possible and were very knowledgeable on the local area. I would like to thank Alice and Christine for the huge amount of help they were in pushing the sale through before the end of the Stamp Duty Holiday. They were in constant contact with the solicitors on both sides and I don't think we would have got the sale through without all of their hard work! Would highly recommend

Excellent from start to finish

There isn’t enough space here to convey how much I’ve appreciated Joe having my back over the course of the last 6 months. This was an emotional sale for us given that it involved the family home that I grew up in. It was preceded by my mother having a stroke and subsequently passing away. There was a point where I needed to apply the brakes due to being overwhelmed. Joe contacted anyone that needed to be informed (lifetime legal, the photographer etc). I didn’t have to respond to anyone or anything until I contacted him with the green light. The process can feel very much like marching through the legal steps required. This was so much more and I’m so grateful. Communication was consistently excellent and Gibbs Gillespie were totally up front and honest from day one. We had approached another local agent beforehand who had a vastly different approach so it was a relief to find them. Thank you once again Joe.

Been a Landlord customer since 2004 - business has changed hands ownership over time and fees have gone up but service has drastically deteriorated. Slow (if any) responses - personnel changes - no access or interest from Directors when issues are escalated .. just constant apologies but little action. Service levels are at best "shocking"

An appointment was made for Dominic Hanson to visit Croft House with a view to selling it.Dominic, who handled the sale of the house has been fantastic. This is only the 2nd ever review that I have ever left, but Gibbs Gillespie are so deserving that I had to make the effort!I had been trying to sell my house in Rickmansworth on and off for the last five years or so, we would have it on with various local Estate Agents as well as Purple Bricks and for one reason or another it would not sell. So we ended up in a painful circle of attempting to sell it and then giving up and trying again with an alternative estate agent every year or so. It was a lovely house but there were things about it that some viewers saw as a negative and it put buyers off. Danny and Philip were especially excellent at turning those negatives into real positives and managed to get me an offer of the asking price within one week and my wife and I were over the moon.Danny and Philip did everything they said they would do and were so professional, Danny was especially helpful with the process after the offer had been accepted and acted as an excellent go between for us and the buyers, I felt i was in safe hands every step of the way.We are renting at the moment , but when the time comes to buy again we are hoping that the house we will want will be marketed by GG as I now have the confidence in them that the buying process will be as smooth as the selling.I have been meaning to pop in and say thanks personally but but being especially busy has got in the way.I will make an effort sometime between now and Xmas to pop in and say thanks to all of those that were so helpful throughout the process.Thanks again,Adam

The review is for the Uxbridge branch. Horrible experience and will stay a mile away. My sister and my mom went to view a house for purchase. We then put an offer on the house (20k lower than the asking price which was reasonable given that it had one toilet/bathroom for three bedroom property). I then called to follow up our offer. Spoke to Josh who was rude and arrogant and quite frankly lacked telephone manner. I then called again to talk to the manager, Joe was polite and pleasant to speak to, he told me that he will look into my complaint and will come back to me. Two hours later we received an email rejecting our offer and in the email we were told they will be offering the property to somebody else. I'm not against the idea of offering the property to a higher bidder but there is no place for being completely rude and arrogant and belittling people. I was disgusted by Josh’s manners but worst Joe did not even have the decency to call me back. What a customer service, I would hate to be the client selling the property.

Any problems I have with my house the agent hafeeza Rasheed is willing to make sure that all the work that is required to be done gets done.
