GoogleGibbs Gillespie was known as Thorgills back then but regardless of its name change, my family and I are very happy with the outstanding service provided by Louis King. He has been very approachable from the beginning to the (approaching) end. His patience with our queries is commendable. I cannot recommend Gibbs Gillespie (and Louis!) to the community if you're looking for somewhere to let or to buy. 😀

Mismanaged the tenancy twice in a row incurring loss of 20+k due to poor referencing and selection of tenant, poor follow up of defaulting rental payments, never visited the property even once despite the continued non payment of rent for more than a year. I shall not recommend this company to anyone. We are in the process of taking g legal action.

We used Gibbs to sell our home. This was the first time we had sold a house so was new to the whole process and the whole team were very friendly, supportive and helpful to ensure the sale went through As smoothly as possible. House move is always a stressful time but they always offered assistance and explained all parts of the sale process so really put us as ease and made it as stress free as possible! Absolutely awful experience moving into my new property! The agents did not check the property prior to move in and the place was filthy, had broken and missing items that they did not advise prior to tenancy. When I reported the issues to the lettings team, I then had to chase them for an update, and ended up sorting the clean myself. I asked for the complaints procedure as I wanted to make a formal complaint and was ignored! I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone I care about! Worse experience with a UK agent EVER!

I contact the Stanmore branch regarding a property available for rent that was perfect for me and my partner. I was lucky enough to find the listing as soon as they put it up. I contacted them via the form on Zoopla and they called me and were very rude: didn't identify themselves and asked "How can I help?". I didn't even know what the call was about until I asked if this was about the property.They asked for a few details about annual income, etc and said they would contact the current tenant to arrange a viewing when it was convinient for them. A few days later, I called them back asking about the viewing, they said they were still awaiting for a time and date. The next day, they put up on Zoopla that the property was let. We didn't even get the chance of viewing the property and they didn't contact us back saying the property was let by someone else.Very upsetting and unprofessional approach.

GoogleSTAY AWAY FROM THESE AGENTS. They rented an apartment under full management, they never ever turned up at the property at all. They did do proper credit checks on tenant, stating its not there responsibility but they used a credit reference agency that did check properly at all. Stay away from these cowboys.

She has gone above and beyond to chase communications between solicitors, the buyer and agent, always keeping me updated and pushing the sale forward. I don't know what I would have done without her!
