GoogleThe agent took me to view an apartment, I put in an offer at asking price and I paid holding deposit and was told the offer was accepted, and also passed reference check. I kept asking for the contract but never received it and only after three weeks I found out from another agent that the property was let out to someone else. They said they would refund deposit, making excuses like BACS would take three days but it has been a week I still have not got my money back. Tried to ring their office and no one every picks up. GoogleMy best friend was trying to find a studio flat with these guys, even though she is unemployed at the moment but currently actively job-seeking and has a guarantor. One of their advisors, Christine, told her during a house viewing that her situation would be fine. She called this morning to ask for the documentation to sign for the house, and the manager told her that they wouldn't give it to her, and when she tried to ask for advice, they hung up on her. Avoid at all costs, horrible people.

GoogleA friendly estate agency who looks after the client from the very beginning to the very end of the whole process, exactly what I was looking for. Not a factory-agency where you speak to different people every time. The person who deals with you looks after the whole process, of selling in my case. Perseverant, patient and skilful, the qualities that you need to find in an estate agent who becomes your best friend during all the ups and downs. Don't trust the big corporations! GoogleRainbow Reid (RR) had let my property for over 10years, and what I can say is that they provided an excellent service. Key points in my assessment are as follows:
1) Always very courteous and responsive
2) Excellent service in vetting and recommending tenants. The tenants were all easy to get on with and I have very little to do as a landlord
3) Engaged in the setting of an appropriate rent, taking a very pragmatic position of aligning Property market rates with tenant loyalty, therefore arriving at any increase with very minimal effort
4) Although RR were not assigned to manage the property, they took on/offered certain services in order to keep my tenants happy
5) Last but not least, when I was ready to sell the property they found me a buyer who offered the best price, exceeding my expectations.
An excellent Agent to do business with. I would certainly recommend.

GoogleWe have had a good experience renting with Rainbow Reid this past year. Friendly staff and easy to get in contact with, replying to emails has always been prompt as well as returning calls. The only issues we had with the property were solved quickly and the only delays were due to the landlord being away and un contactable, which we were kept in the loop about. I would recommend Rainbow Reid as they have been very professional with the handling of our tenancy and management of the property.

GoogleThis agency is definitely the worst agency I have ever dealt with. An absolute nightmare from start to finish. I would advise anyone to avoid them if possible, they rarely reply to emails or messages left on the answering machine, when they do reply it is incredibly slow and incredibly rude, and even then it is just to pass off the problem to someone else. I have never experienced anything as bad as this company in my life. Disgusting, embarrassing disgrace.

Although all the funamental steps were taken to let the property, to service and to allow us to exit the property - NON of those steps were taken in a timely or pleasant manner.I would describe every member of staff at Rainbow Reid to be of a level only slightly more competent than completely incompetent.Displeasing dealings all the way through our 2 year tenancy - a disappointing agency i wish to never have dealings with ever again.

YellAbsolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible estate agents from a tenants perspective. They ignore all your emails until your tenancy renewal is due, at which point you’ll be sure to receive an email demanding more money for the rent if you wish to stay. This will be the only time you can expect any replies from them and even then it’s an uphill battle. Be warned.

They found suitable tenants quickly but we have been most impressed with Ryan who has been managing the property day-to-day. He's been really helpful arranging workmen for minor repairs & replacement appliances offering a range of options & making our lives much easier.
