GoogleBond Oxborough Phillips (BOP) recently sold a bungalow for us that was not straight forward, due to unforgivable admin errors with the probate office (who get a one star rating) But they worked well with us giving us regular updates and prompts. There did seem to be a large discrepancy however in the " actual " personal facts of the buyers, which we found out about as the sale progressed. However we would use them again.

Awful! Through Barnstaple Bond Oxborough I went to view a property that was described as "country side views". I noticed some building at the back and to the side, but was told by Sara that as far as she knew the building would stop there. She also mentioned that some of the neighbouring properties had been mowing grass into the field at the back & implied that that field was owned by a "farmer".

Sold two properties in Plymouth via the Tavistock office. Excellent service, great communication and above all the regular communication with the conveyancers, solicitors being slow has let us down and cost sales in the past 😕. This agent is good all round and keeps the sale process moving 😊

Scheduled to view a property in Chagford, made a 3hr round trip to view and had a limited window of time (30 minutes) as had children to collect from school. Firstly, they turned up 15 minutes late, we were told because of the rain, so that reduced our viewing time. Entered the property to be faced with poorly tenants (apparently not covid) but still was totally inappropriate for us to be there and left promptly. We were then told we couldn't view the shop part until 2pm when we had made it very clear we would have to leave then. So we didn't view the shop at all

The most incompetent, unprofessional and downright dishonest Estate agents you will ever come across. They have consistently lied to us about the property we were purchasing, at one point saying our offer was accepted and then we find out they were still taking viewings. Prior to that another property we were bidding on was sold to someone else at below market price without even having the decency to ring us and ask if we would like to increase our bid. Time and again our calls go unanswered and the lady who works there is incredibly rude and needs to work on her customer service skills. I urge people not to use them as you have many options in the area. We have lost track of the lies they've told us. In a nutshell their lies and incompetence have left us in a really awkward position that had they just been honest with us, we wouldn't be in.

FacebookA very professional and helpful estate agent, I would have no hesitation in recommending BOP. From my initial contact with Bideford Branch Manager Alex to the care, attention and support I received from Philippa in the Sales Progression Department I was very impressed by their service, particularly as my house sale proved to be a complicated and lengthy process. This was through no fault of BOP who did all they could to facilitate the sale. Thank you very much.

The Okehampton branch sent me a personalised mailing about placing my property with them for sale. I pointed out by email that there was glaring error in their leaflet when they used the work FORM instead of FROM in a leading sentence. I received a flippant reply from the manager saying they had noticed the error after the document was sent to print - but "they were only human" - not much of an apology. So guess which agent I won't go with when I sell later in the year?

A first time buyer moving in the mids off the ending stamp duty holiday sounded like a stressful nightmare... but in fact it was easy! Helen alerted me and my partner to a perfect property that ticked all my boxes and since then the process ran so smooth without a hitch! Every time I had a question they would answer it as soon as possible.. I couldn't fault a single thing about the service! Thank you so much

FacebookWe found the team at the Wadebridge office really helpful and friendly especially as it’s has been a long time since we bought a property. Mandy who supports you through the actual process once offers are accepted, was absolutely fantastic. She kept in constant contact especially as our solicitors were slow and inefficient and she pushed on our behalf to get things through. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BOP, but be wary of using Premier Property Lawyers who they recommend as our experience with them was really bad.

Appalling. We now have to find a property at short notice because they lied to us. They take no responsibility whatsoever and make stuff up constantly!! Have been in communication with them for WEEKS trying to secure a property. Then they told us we had secured a property and then backtracked!! They fobbed us off for weeks and wasted our time. Unsure if they’re just incompetent or deliberately messing us about. I made a complaint and they’ve refused to call me back to discuss it. Utterly unprofessional, dishonest throughout and have absolutely no consideration for the fact that they are messing with people’s lives.

Always professional and courteous when meeting in person, over the telephone or by email. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Nicholas, Brendon and Rose. I would certainly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell a property in the Braunton area.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking from the Barnstaple office. Lied to me so many times. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Customer service was absolutely awful at best. If your ideal home is with this company please make it clear to the vendors that you will only do a deal if the estate agent is changed. Our first home is a wreck and we were lied to from the start. Not only that they are now refusing to speak to me because I was unhappy with their lies. Again please please avoid

Terrible experience with the Barnstaple office. We were told by one of the staff member that we qualified for a section 106 on the cottage early in April this year. 7 months later all packed ready to move. did not even apologise for it. Very unprofessional and uncaring. Very Badley done Barnstaple office.
