This is not a beach hotel only seafront, which is not suitable for small children or people with disabilities. Food basic not a lot of choice. Drinks local, not nice. Hotel is friendly and clean. Also hotel is remote unless you hire a car we feel trapped here

Property management seem understaffed and fail to manage clients expectations, they regularly break promises. Chasing up issues is a time consuming experience / stressful experience. The company seems to rely on sole traders, and not a proper maintenance company with offices etc. For example, I've been asked (by Haart) to arrange times with "The Handyman" directly in the past. Said "Handyman" also seems to be a place to pass the blame onto when things don't happen. Though (in my opinion) this is not properly managed by Haart. Managers are quicker to respond to Google reviews rather than actual outstanding issues. Company fails to respect privacy of tenants. Staff seem to have a poor understanding of GDPR. When I mention it, I am treated as if I'm just being a "Karen". I find this concerning as a tenant as they handle personal information such as my driving license and passports. After we left the property, we received a letter of "Rent Arrears" for the month we didn't live in the property and gave plenty of notice for.. This is yet another example of the company failing to adhere to basic things. But Haart Management are very quick to justify it or cover up problems occurring. -- I would like to thank every human being who helped us as part of this tenancy, it is not your fault personally, I feel Haart as a company should do more to enable their staff to deliver a better service. I'm not mentioning names, but most of the staff I have dealt with have actually been fantastic to talk to and deal with. It seems there's wider issues in the company and the staff do not have the proper tools they need to do their jobs correctly and receive the brunt of it from customers when things don't go right and I don't think it's fair. My review is my opinion, is not aimed at any individual, is not to be taken personally and is aimed at Haart Lettings Braintree as a company. My intentions here are to share my perspectives on the experience we received so that others can make informed decisions and (hopefully) the company can use our experience to improve.

I am very happy with the service I have received, especially from a young lady called Charisma. I am currently going through a divorce and moving from Frinton-On-Sea to be close to my daughter in Braintree. This is a very stressful time for me. I went into the shop and explained I would like to buy cash don't really want a mortgage and explained my situation. This young lady was very caring, understanding, gave me time to explain my situation and then advised me on the best way forward.
