Not happy with customer service. Haven’t rented with them since 2019 and yet they haven’t removed my details from the system as I asked, so I’m always contacted by either emails or phone calls about the landlord wanting to view the property or maintenance wanting to books slots to inspect/ run tests. Iv emailed a few times now to have my details removed as not living there but it’s just ignored.

Viewed a property and didn't think it was worth what it was going by the work that was required and similar house on the same street on by another agent. Emailed a price wiling to pay only for the branch manager to tell me that the price would not lead to good negotiation. Hows that then? I had to state the law before they would send over the offer to the client, they are middlemen thats all and legally obliged to promptly pass on all offers. Poor service from them, had friends who all say the same both before and after purchasing property. I wouldn't use. They also try and force financials which is also against the law, if they do this speak to the trading standards and obundsman, it is the only way they will learn, they are owned by a building society so propably want you to get a mortgage through them!

SCAMMERS! They force you to transfer £220 to reserve property that you're planning to rent, calling every 30 minutes asking if you made a transfer and forcing you to do it faster. However, after you do that, they say that you're not applicable for the property and no refund you. No property, No refund, No support. A TRUE LEGAL SCAMMING SYSTEM. PLS AVOID AND REPORT THEM

They where told over two weeks ago to realise the deposit to me by the TDI. Instead they ignored the request and said it was an admin error. When I contacted them after several attempts they promised me it would be no later than Friday. Not only has it not arrived, I am now being told it has not been processed. If I had not chased they would have still done nothing. Even though they can send the money today they won't. I have now been told Wednesday. This is not there money it is to cover rent arrears. I will never use them again I will just register the deposit with the tds directly so they can no longer make money from i

GoogleWe opted for Bairstow Eves Braintree originally owing to their persistence in pursuing us to sell our house. We took it as a good omen that they worked so hard to get our business. We had a few quibbles about communication early on, but these were resolved and we received a helpful and courteous service throughout from all the staff in the office. We were impressed that they took the trouble to learn about our property and always conducted tours on our behalf. Looking forward to a successful move into our new home.

GoogleI didn't know this area so any assistance I rec'd from Bairstow Eves (BE) was appreciated. From the moment I walked through the door I was met with professionalism. Throughout the purchase I was impressed with all the staff from their help to their friendliness. Any queries that I had were also dealt with quickly. The fact that I had an excellent firm of solicitors (Meadows & Moran from Romford) meant that the sale went through to my satisfaction. I would have no hesitation in recommending BE to anyone.

This is by far the worst estate agent in UK (Basingstoke branch)! They never answer the phone, they don't call back, they sit on offers for days and do nothing with it. When you manage to speak to them it is impossible to have a sensible conversation as they will make it as difficult as possible for the customer to make an offer, I wonder if there is any interest behind it...they also push hard for their worthless packages as they want to make an extra £1k or as much as they can on their poor services and if you do not comply they fob you off....it doesn't surprise me as the office manager is the worst of the bunch. After the whole confusion they also don;t enter the correct details in their system and waste your time to call you for nonsense offers...don't go anywhere near them!

Completely unpolite staff, they forced me to provide my personal details just to view a property and they forced me to call instead of using email although I believe we are in the XXI century. I was also ensured my email was not going to be used for marketing and guess.... next day I had tons of Colonnells emails in my inbox. Awful experience. Glad the house was awful, too as I didn't have to deal with them anymore.

I booked a viewing of a 1 bed flat in Fishponds, Bristol. After receiving no confirmation I called the office on the day to confirm, they had me on the system and said they would send me he details and see me at the viewing. When no one turned up after 10 minutes I checked zoopla to find a contact phone number to see the property was listed as no longer available. Really poor customer service,waste of time.

The worst Agents ever!Try to avoid them as they are totally unprofessional and will try to charge you some ridiculous amounts of money. We decided to let our property through them going for the full management and after 3 mouths we ended up without any payment received, as they were saying the money are bouncing back! At the moment going through endless complaints procedure! What a joke this company is ! Bunch of unprofessional people! AVOID AVOID AVOID

The valuer seemed to be a good person to chat but I would question his professional judgement. He undervalued ( compared to THE well respected local agents) the house without any justification. It didn't affect the end result as I was just switching the lender. Would have lost the property had I been a buyer.Yes he works for lenders for a measly fee but where was his professional judgement?

Unbelievably bad experience. We have been let down massively multiple times. We had major health and safety issues, unusable toilets for 2 months and we only heard promises.We had to contact Private housing at the city council to get them to do something. Unreliable would be a compliment for them. Do not use these people, seriously.I can keep going with how many problems we had but there is no point. Their ratings say it all.

Renting my first property with them, was told it would be finished for the day I got my keys, 5 weeks later I’m still waiting for my cupboard doors to be fired, my shower to be fixed and the nail sticking out of my banister to be removed. They’re quick enough to take the rent out of my account although they put me in arrears as they never took my account number for future payments.

GoogleI have lived outside the UK for the past 13 years. I placed a retirement flat for rent with this office, and from the moment of contacting the team at Braintree they have handled the process with absolute professionalism and found a suitable tenant far quicker than I thought possible. All communication has been handled via email with without a hitch. If only living in Spain could be so straight forward. All in all a good experience.

Reasonably easy ride but no real surprise as a first time buyer and a chain free seller. Very annoyed at extra charges that were on back of the very small print in the contract, which were not pointed out and we assumed that buying a fixed fee service would be exactly that!

This company are an absolute joke...rude surveyor came and walked in with the smallest of introductions, spent 10 minutes in the house and walked out with the parting words, “the bank will be in touch”. Undervalued the property based on 2 RICS reports we paid to have over the past 18 months and now affecting our mortgage. Do not use. Apparently their valuations are “Law”. Laughable..! Can I do a minus review..?

They put fake properties for sale on Rightmove, using this way to gain personal data from customers. Don't understand why this kind of low value providing companies exiting in the market. Full of scammer and scumbags. Don't deal with them if you can avoid at all! Especially the branch in Warwick, absolutely disgusting.
