I cannot recommend connells enough. The whole process has been seamless from buying a new home and selling ours. Liam especially has always been there for any questions we have and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely 5 star service

Just glad I didn't sell through them (their Basingstoke branch anyway). Whilst trying to view properties I spoke to several male staff and found them to be unhelpful to say the least. They came across as jack the lad cowboys, who couldn't be bothered to return calls. I could say lots more but there's little point. Having reviewed the other negative feedback they've received it appears that they don't take notice. BEWARE SELLERS, AVOID THIS LOT

I rented my house in dudley staff rented my property to ccj peoples and I waited 2 years I lost 2 years rent because of unexperience staff they don't know what they are doing also not helping the landlords and they serve section 21 without providing documentation I wasted 4 another months because of unexperienced staff don't bothered with connells thanks find local agency

Found the Filton office closed (Covid) sign on the door explained and left a phone number. I phoned the office number and could hear it ringing from outside. I could also see someone at his desk. He obviously had something better to do than answer the phone. Not the people I want to do business with. Didn’t even phone me back. Will not waste my time here again.

Worst estate agent ever dealt with. (Plymouth) Was pleasant before I rented a property, seemed friendly and from the moment I had the keys, they were shocking. Poor service, could never get hold of the letting agent and when I did, I would have to wait almost a week for a reply... and the amount of information they pass on is absolutely disgraceful. Avoid if you can

Wish I had read the reviews before using them.They gave me ad advice as to how to market the property and gave meno feedback on viewings I had to chase them all the time.The property only sold when I ignored their advice. They admitted they only tell clients part of the feedback. The only thing they were efficient at was presenting a bill for appalling service AVOID THIS AGENCY

Put a bid on a house. Went to best and final offers. Subsequently found out despite bidding £10,000 more than other party and in better circumstances (no chain, mortagage agreed etc) we lost out. Turns out it was due to estate agents knowing the other buyers and wanting to give them a cheaper sale. Lied to seller about our circumstances to m to approve other buyer. Cowboys stay clear

They do not update the status of the properties on the website and other platforms. Wasted my time enquiring unavailable properties. Nearly all of the property I enquired were no longer available. Also I think it is dishonest that they said the price written was for an unfurnished apartment, yet on the website said the apartment is furnished.

I’m so glad I’m not the owner of this branch the closed sign is on the front door and the two staff that are working are sitting on there mobile phones, just walked passed 1 hour later and still on her mobile phone texting, very productive office. I would suggest who’s in charge of paying these staff start tracking there hours of no productive work

My son is looking for his first home to buy. He called Connell repeatedly about a flat he was interested in and they didn’t make much effort to call him back or set anything up. In the end I had to call and arrange a viewing.Son and his dad went on the viewing. The agent was very halfhearted and didn’t show any enthusiasm about the property. Very underwhelmed.

Went to them to rent a house,booked a viewing. Got a call on viewing day that they had to rebook, i took another day off work for the viewing just to get another call saying that the landlord doesn't accept us because i get in work beneffits...this was meant to be disscussed after viewing not before and in my opinion Michelle has this house put asside for some of her friends. Totally unprofessional

Put in a offer with connells estate agents and basically forcing our hand to use there in house mortgage adviser or else they wouldn’t put forward our offer, we had all or correct documents and a mortgaging principle. Which I later found out was illegal! They basically told me I’m not interested in the house due to not using their in house mortgage adviser.

Would not book a viewing for a flat without first making me come to their office to push their own morgage advisor who comes with a £599 price tag. They said that this was due to them recieving too many "time-wasters".

Was informed i would receive a refund of my holding fee from the plymouth branch for a property that was taken off the market. Have still not received this a MONTH later and am stuck in a loop of the branch blaming the accounts department and vice versa. Also have been informed that i am only due a partial refund even though i never received any services from them. Do not trust.

The worst Agency to deal with was running late to meeting that was arranged only 20mins prior to me leaving and this is at peak traffic, the guy was so rude because I was going to be late, would not let me speak kept talking to me how bad I am. Worst Agency ever will never sell or buy through them ever

Phoned twice to obtain information on a property they are marketing. No information received. The property is being sold by their online auction house who they blamed for poor service. As I have a large rental portfolio and am a cash buyer I have now left a note for the owner at the property to contact me directly.
