As soon as we came to see the show home we knew we wanted a Mandale home. They are so well made and a lot of thought goes into them. Diane was very welcoming and supportive from day 1. As usual with any sale, there were bumps in the road but Dianne was very supportive throughout the whole process. We are extremely happy in our new home.

First home - painless experience!

We have bought our first home with Mandale and the experience couldn’t have been smoother. Diane was fantastic with advising us, and answering our many questions - nothing was too much and she always got back to us as quickly as possible. The location is amazing and the house has been completed to an incredibly high standard - much better than what you say in many new build homes. Even after moving in, Diane has helped out with any small queries we may have. Overall, the experience of buying our first home has been ‘easy’. Mandale work with recommended solicitors and mortgage advisors, all who have been incredibly useful during the process. We would highly recommend!

Bought our new Mandale home at Hebble…

Bought our new Mandale home at Hebble Brook View and overall we have had a good experience. Process started with our sales negotiator Diane who has gone above and beyond our expectations in the buying process. She was a big help to us throughout, always friendly, helpful and kept us well informed.The site manager Chris was very friendly and efficient in handling our immediate snagging items and nothing was too much trouble. He was available on the phone anytime of the day to discuss and look at any issues we had. Overall all the workmen we came into contact with on site were friendly and efficient.Paula and Diane from customer services made sure our walk-through /handover and transition to completion went smoothly.We are 4 months into our new home and are still very pleased with it, with better finishing touches than your average builder. On-going customer care are looking after our interests on the mainly minor remaining items. We are loving our new home and thank you to all involved.

Wonderful experience so far - 5 stars to Diane in particular!

Currently awaiting the keys to my new house at Hebble Brook, so I cannot yet comment on the full buying experience, but if the way I have been treated and kept informed thus far is anything to go by, it will be brilliant. Diane has been just incredible; friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She has given me so much time to go through the options, on multiple occasions, while I made my mind up, and has also taken care of the newly laid lawn until I move in! Thank you Diane! The development itself is in a wonderful location and spaciously laid out. I'll update the review once I am in :)

Great experience with Mandale Homes from start to finish!

When we first went to view the show homes at Thornton Hills we were greeted by Diane who very quickly made us feel at ease and comfortable. Diane gave us all the information we needed. We then went onto reserve a property on the site a few days later and throughout the whole process, Diane has kept us informed and kept us calm as it’s a very stressful process! Every step of the way, we knew we could contact Diane with any questions we had. We have had such a great experience with Mandale from start to finish. We are really looking forward to carrying on our journey with Mandale Homes when we move into our new property this week. Big thanks to Diane for helping us along the way! Another thanks to the other Diane in Customer Care who talked us through that side of things and how we continue once moved in with any issues.

Fantastic service!

We bought our home from Mandale in November 2022 while it was just being built. We were unable to move in until late March 2023 due to expecting however the professional standard we have received has been incredible. The amount of choices that we were given to personalise our home was incredible and fitted to the highest standard. Diane Hargreaves is an absolute asset to Mandale homes. Nothing is ever too much, any snags were rectified quickly and she kept me well informed on any information we needed. She made such an impression that my parent in laws are also looking to buy on site and again, Diane has been invaluable. Chris the site manager has also been beyond incredible. Always checking in, making sure we had everything we need and sorted out any issues with a smile on his face. I would definitely recommend Mandale due to the customer service, the professionalism and the standard of home built.

First Time Buyers

Diane the sales advisor has been amazing with us from the very beginning. We originally booked an appointment as we were just wanting to explore different houses before we buy one, as we’re young parents and first time buyers. We never expected to fall in love with the first home we saw, but we did at a Mandale homes development. Diane has been open with us the whole time, she has never once has been pressuring, she answers every question we have and made sure we knew what the best decision was for us. We have never bought a home before and we had no idea what was going to happen, but Diane made sure she went through each step so we wasn’t so overwhelmed when it come to purchasing. When we decided to go for one of the homes, Diane was amazing, she keeps in touch with us every week, showed us what choices there was, and went through every detail about the legal side of buying a home and what that would entail for us. She has even been amazing with our little boy, chatting away to him when we went to the site, and just being a lovely person with us all. Diane has been amazing and we are so grateful that we had the opportunity to buy our first home with Mandale and have the support from Diane. We are now at the point of Exchange, and we would’ve struggled to get to this point if we didn’t have Diane to support us every step of the way. 5 stars isn’t enough to give for the service Diane has given us, she deserves way more! We are so grateful and thankful for everything, Diane and Mandale Homes have been AMAZING!

We visited the site only to rule it out…

We visited the site only to rule it out of our property search, we thought we’d found our dream house elsewhere. From the moment we walked through the door of the show home we were warmly greeted by Diane and from that moment on we decided we wanted to buy from her! Her professional but friendly service has never waivered. Her knowledge, expertise and pride in the product is like no other property expert we have dealt with before. If 0 stars was an option!

If I could write a review and leave 0 stars I would…this company and their customer service are absolutely atrocious. I have had an issue with a leaking a window. I am past the 2 year builder warranty, NHBC say they don’t cover windows and the company who supplied and installed the windows have said they don’t supply or fit windows anymore so there is no warranty. Went back to Mandale who have offered zero help. The issues are due to poor workmanship from the outset. If I could go back in time I would not buy a Mandale home

Don't even want to put 1 star..

Don't even want to put 1 star... have moaned about so many issues with this clown outfit it's unbelievable. Dishwasher blew... can't take it out as the muppets sealed the feet in and put the front facia fittings all the way along right upto the wall so we need a joiner to come and fit them properly... this housing firm need shutting down and the Directors should be behind bars for a very long time and don't get me started on their general manager (biggest plonker ever)

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Awful customer service. I purchased a house by Mandale homes in 2021. Put it on the market last year and have now had 2 sales fall through due to outstanding planning conditions on the estate that should have been discharged 4 years ago. Mortgage companies are seeing this as too high risk to lend to potential buyers and so now as it currently stands the whole estate is not sellable. I bought my house when I was 21, such a big achievement that I worked so hard for, but I can’t help but feel scammed.

Do Not Trust Mandale! They will leave you high and dry in a house you cannot sell.

We have been in our house for just over 4 years, we never had a honeymoon period in the house, it was issue after issue. These issue keep cropping up and now it’s come to light, that Mandale have failed to discharge their obligation under their planning permission. This is having a direct impact on the value of our property and stopping us from selling as new buyers are being advised by their solicitors not to proceed. Mandale took our money, built the homes and then ran to the hills after not ensuring our estate was compliant with the planning permission they obtained. Cutting corners to save cost at every opportunity.

Not possible to give zero stars or I would. Quite possibly the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Incompetent, unhelpful. Nice when your buying then when you have problems you don’t see them for dust! They don’t respond. Luckily NHBC resolve their shoddy work and incompetence by getting proper builders with guaranteed work to rectify Mandales errors. I’m shocked they are still in business. Purchased in 2019, ongoing issues ever since.

Don’t under any circumstances waste…

Don’t under any circumstances waste your money on a home from Mandale! Any problems you come across and by the quality of their builds trust me you will find problems, good luck getting them resolved. This isn’t the only problem we have had and I highly doubt it will be the last but we currently have water leaking into two of our bedrooms, one of them into our disabled sons room which he can no longer stay in but Madale are refusing to take any accountability for this issue and trying to palm us off to checkmate even though checkmate have stated that it is in fact a mandale issue as they have “fixed” the problem before and not done the job correctly. I look forward to seeing what reply they conjure up to this to try worm their way out of it.

New home Ripon

We moved into our new home in Ripon in November 2020 and we love our new home. From the beginning Jayne the salesperson was absolutely fantastic. She was never pushy and did everything possible to get us everything we wanted in our new home. Throughout the whole process she kept us informed right up until she got moved to a different site. Her replacement Debra was also very helpful. Once into our home we obviously had the usual snagging lists which mostly have been dealt with in an effective manner and timeframe. We had one issue with rude decorators but mandale replaced them with another crew who were much more professional and helpful. All other contractors were polite and helpful. The customer care team of Paula and Megan have been helpful whenever we have needed to contact them. All in all we love our forever home.

Lockdown house and baby!

In 2020 me and my partner bought our dream home at Aviation Gardens. I was 7 months pregnant and it was so exciting to be planning our family home albeit not the best timing! I loved choosing our flooring, tiles, kitchen design and treating ourselves to some of the fabulous optional extras! Debra at the site office was great and really flexible even staying late one night to help us choose things when I couldn’t make my mind up. There were so many I liked! The whole buying process was easy and we were guided through it all with the help of the sales department.On the day of our home demonstration the Sales Manager Chantolle genuinely seemed so happy for us and proud of the house she was showing us which was really lovely. Shortly after we moved in the first covid lockdown came into effect and within 2 weeks of that our baby. This made for a really stressful time. We found snagging issues in the house that needed fixing, which wasn’t the best but it was mainly paint jobs and to be fair having bought a new build home before this was minor compared to previous. What was really good though was Mandale seemed really on top of the situation, communication was great, the offer of delaying workmen in our house was offered due to a newborn and covid but so was the option of them working around us and doing whatever was needed. It was this helpful attitude that just made that period of time more bearable. All in all I love our Mandale Home, the layout, the standard and it’s location which is just as well since we’ve spent so much time in it over the last 18 months.

Helped create our dream home!

We moved in to our property at Crathorne in November last year, and couldn’t be happier with it! The entire process was made as easy and stress free as possible by Mandale, whilst still being extremely attentive to our vision of creating our dream home. Helen and the sales team were fab throughout, especially Chantolle who made us feel completely at ease, keeping us up to date on the progress of the build, and offering help/advice, it created a real feeling of trust in them. Of course with any new builds there are snags, but all were minor and fixed within the first couple of weeks of being reported. Have no intention of moving from such a beautiful development but if we did I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from Mandale again

Refreshingly easy

We purchased a property December 2020 from mandale and have waited a while to give feedback to give a fair review. Overall our experience has been fantastic, the flexibility of the contractors was very refreshing and we were kept in the loop every step of the way. Helen and the sales team involved us a lot of the descion making and it really made our house feel like a home. Since moving in we have had some small issues with bi fold doors and roof tiles, the after care team were fab especially Megan who chases the snagging team and all issues have been resolved within a week of us bringing them up! I can’t fault the service we have received so far and would be a repeat customer! Lovely location built to a high standard and great after care! Thanks mandale!

We cannot fault Mandale, amazing service throughout

We are due to complete with Mandale in a couple of days at their Hawkshead grange site in Old Glossop. Our house buying process from the get go has been stress free with a massive thank you to Carole and Chantolle. We were extremely impressed with the amount of different choices which came as a standard for our property: far more than most other new build companies. Any queries we have had they tried to address as soon as possible, we are first time buyers so have had many questions! Their attention to detail is impeccable! We really cannot thank Mandale enough and are extremely excited for our first home. Thank you!
