I've used Duncan Yeardley as my lettings agent for my house round the corner from them since my prior agent was taken over by a less than amusing bunch. From the first meeting to discuss the service I needed and that they could provide to the selling of my house several years later they have provided me with excellent advice, good tradesmen, quick and effective property management. They took on the work and their management did not intrude into my life. That's all I could ask for. When selling the house for me they took it on, managed the sale around both COVID19 and the needs of the existing tenant, working closely with me, the tenant, and the buyer's chain to hold the sale together in remarkably difficult circumstances. They achieved a sale price that pleased us both. Better, they overcame a tiny hurdle for me on contract exchange day with grace and charm. What I like most is that they have a passion for excellence and customer service. After Being with another estate agent for 20 +2 weeks we have had a totally different experience with Duncan Yeardley. Really appreciate the way we have been treated by Duncan Yeardley’s staff. The sales staff have been absolutely amazing they’ve kept us informed every step of the way. Always greeted with a warm welcome they leave your house as they found it after a viewing and they accommodate pets and take their feelings into consideration as they are part of our families. The team give regular progress reports following Sold STC Caution: would advise one requests one member of staff keeps one in the loop as we did get conflicting info nearer the end of the purchase from other members of staff. When you end up taking mental notes on your experience to take back and apply to a completely different industry you know something is very right. From the start Duncan Yeardley have exceeded my expectations by anticipating my needs before I was aware of them and delivering their service in a professional and engaging manner. Both Lucy who has dealt with my enquiries and Samantha who was very patient taking me on viewings were knowledgeable, friendly and made every step of the process easier and stress free. At the same time of dealing with Duncan Yeardley I was also dealing with a number of other agents in the area and the gulf in quality and value I received was huge. We have no hesitation in recommending this estate agents in fact we already told friends who are thinking of selling, that this is the agent they should be using. From the moment Keith came to do our valuation and sign us up, to the point of sending sales memos to our lawyers, the team at Duncan Yeardley have been amazing. The viewings were plenty and the agents were very respectful of our home. The follow up and admin were done quickly. Every phone call taken from any member of staff was courteous and friendly. The jewel in their crown for us though,is Lucy.
