GoogleUsed this service to store my 2 bed house contents and double garage contents, easy access for a large removal van round the back and you can ask for ground floor storage to make things easier. They can provide a lock and keys if you need, plus trolleys to make the process easier on you! They're open early morning and sometimes late, with flexible contracts for payment. Lovely service, friendly and efficient staff who will work with you to make sure you get the right space you need.

GoogleThey literally are so greedy there’s no such thing as reserving a unit you have to pay outright. They will call you two days before you’re going to move your stuff in , when you ‘reserved’ it three months before, to tell you that you don’t have anything reserved and they will offer you a bigger storage unit for twice as much money ( which you don’t have as you’re a student in the midst of the cost of living crisis) and they finally get you the storage unit you wanted in the first place and pay everything upfront for a month that you need it for and they will call you again two days before moving your stuff out and they will tell you you haven’t paid the whole thing upfront and they want more money from you, so please don’t go with them. They gave me a panic every time the contacted me.

Thank you for your review. After speaking to the store I can see you placed a reservation back in May which does not secure the room, just the price for the size of room you enquired for. At the time you needed the space, that size was not available so the store quoted you for the next available size, which during the busiest period of storage it meant the prices had risen. After much hard work, the store did manage to find the size you initially enquired for and gave you the room at the original price you were quoted. Sometimes the right size will just become available as people move in and out at any time. From your account it did look like you were due to move out just after your invoice finished and the new one had started, but as a gensture of goodwill, the store actually credited the amount you should have paid. All invoices are paid upfront and because of the inital unit not being available, they felt it would be better for you if they raised a credit against any physical days of storage that were still owed.
Hopefully this gives you a better understand of things as the store really did go out of their way to help you. Please feel free to reach out to the store manager for any clarification regarding your account and hopefully your kind understanding and credit on your account which was already done, would help you give at least an extra star or two on your review.

GoogleReally good facility at Wallisdown Safestore, very clean. We had to move my daughters things to safestore because she was off to Australia.
This is a confusing one, sorry.
Was suggested that we order a 25 sq ft storage.
The pricing in my opinion is intentionally complex but after a while we got the storage for 8 weeks at 11pounds a week and then 88 pound every 4 weeks.
The payments are made every 4 weeks as it gives the impression that it is normal monthly payments.
Payments every 4 weeks just means you have 13 payments a year instead of 12.
Here we go.
The storage was the wrong size, we needed 35 sq ft.
After hanging around in reception for a while to change it and with 2 removers on an hourly rate, the salesman took some time trying to find a 35 sq ft and suggested I got 50 sq ft as it was only about 7 pound a ‘month’ extra from the 35sq ft. It was also taking quite some time to get the actual cost and I was told I would get the same discounts as before which was about half price for the first 8 weeks.
I was a bit naive as I thought well only 7 pound more from 35 to 50 sq ft as above therefore only about another 10 pounds from 25 sq ft to 35 sq ft so about 17 to 20 pounds extra a month for the 50sq ft storage making 108 per month. A figure of 113 pound was mentioned.
Again it was taking a long time to work out the cost with the discounts so I took the 50 storage as I had guys waiting to load the unit with items and was going to come back to sort out payment, we wanted it for a year.
The cost was much more than I expected and was led to believe earlier and by then it was too late and the unit had been loaded and the removers paid.
For the first 12 weeks this time the payment was 97pounds every 28 days and thereafter 156 pounds paid every 4 weeks until the year is up.
Very confusing and sneaky!

Sometimes during initial conversations, we can estimate the size wrongly or a customer has slightly more than they mention when we are discussing the best space for your needs. Pricing is always based on 4 weekly but there is always the option to change this to monthly if this works our more convenience for you. Please speak to the store if you would like to have your invoices monthly as they can easily amend this for you.

I had noticed people who were not actively using the store were Dumping their waist outside, near the bins. lack of Camera's.
The many screens seen in reception is not in a great place to view only when sitting from the other side of the counter it can be seen more easily. Boxes & other items showing for sale, could be the place to keep an eye on in real time and not rely on past footage if a problem was reported.
