Having rented out my property through Roberts for over 10 years with great service, I decided to use Roberts to sell my house. Paul and Peter were professional and responsive from the start and although I live in the US, this was no barrier to our communication. In fact, they even helped to co-ordinate house clearance and ensure the property was in good order for the new owner which gave me great peace of mind. I used Roberts to rent my property whilst overseas and subsequently sold my property through them too. I always found their services to be very professional and responsive, particularly as I was not in the country at times this made for a very smooth and easy process. When coming to sell Peter and Paul were extremely efficient and helpful. Paul Penny at Roberts sold out house in Acland Rd for £393k in Sep '20 (eventually moving out in Feb '21) and my wife and I have nothing but praise for his professionalism and support during this time. He was always contactable, pleasant to deal with and most of all, got us over the line when conveyancers on both sides appeared to be dragging their heels. The Covid situation added it's own worries and operating procedures but Paul remained calm and confident that we would get there. Would we recommend Paul and his colleagues at Roberts to sell your house? DEFINITELY.

I bought a house through Roberts recently. Professional service, everything was great. However, I found that after the previous occupier had done a "deep clean", they had taken the rubbish bin and filled the recycle bin to the top with food and other nasty waste. I asked for this to be sorted and nothing was done about it. I have since had to go through this bin, that has been sitting there for weeks with flies, rotten food waste, and a foul smelling liquid (that i can only assume originated from said waste) and things living in it. Roberts are great, but I can only assume that they sell houses from animals, so please be aware of this, and make sure both bins are present, and the recycle bin does not have a cross contaminated tag on it like i discovered on mine. Also the loft is full of the previous owners old stuff, guess that the next job.....

Absolute shambles of a company. 12+ calls over the past 6 weeks to report the communal lock is broken on our property to still have not had it repaired. This company has zero care over security but is happy enough to take their share of a service charge. Avoid!!
