Thank you to Danielle and the team for never giving up with the sale of our recent property. Even through two major shifts in the economic climate they still managed to arrange viewings and provide regular updates. Thank you and all the best

TrustpilotThese agents act like robots
These agents act like robots with no human face. Wanted to move in with a property they are managing. Unfortunately for us, we went ahead and paid for the house.(rent) On the day of collecting keys, I could not make it. I called to beg if they can give keys to the lead tenant who has already moved to the property with her stuff wanting to pick up keys. They refused because I was not there. They left her stranded. I promised to take any responsibility that comes with collecting keys. No buldging. Moreover communicating with them is unusually difficult, hard to pick calls. I wont recommend these kind of insensitive agents

TrustpilotMacclesfield Branch
James and his staff at Macclesfield Branch were marvelous from day one. Always very helpful and friendly. In particular Alex helped me through what was a very stressful time, she always answered my queries and helped me to solve most of them. I would fully recommend them .

TrustpilotDo not use this company
Do not use this company. We setup a viewing of a property which without any contact they did not attend. Since this time I have been called several times saying that I have requested a viewing of my property which I have never done and have regularly asked for my details to be removed from their database but keep receiving more calls.

I cannot recommend this agent. I let out a property via them for several years and would have left earlier but felt stuck with them when COVID hit.

GoogleWithout doubt this is the perfect way to sell your property Town and country are a very professional company who obviously have a vast knowledge of the property market no wasted Solicitors fees as once the property reaches its reserve at auction a deposit is paid and contracts exchanged immediately. I believe this is the future in dealing with property sales without all the trouble of surveys and valuations. Highly recommend this company to sell your property.

TrustpilotUnhelpful, unfair and unethical
Unhelpful, unfair and unethical. Genuinely the worst letting experience and service I have ever received. I would avoid at all cost going forward. Numerous serve issues when starting my tenancy, meant I couldn't move into the property. This was meet by no acknowledgment from there side and no help to fix it.

TrustpilotFees when taking the house off the market
I put my house on the market with Bridgefords six weeks ago and in that time period we have only had four viewings and we've had to chase Bridgefords for feedback. They are very poor at responding to emails and phone messages. I've noticed that a number of other houses in the area have come up for sale and sold in that time period. Mainly by one local estate agent. We've decided to swap to this estate agent and take our house off the market with Bridgefords. When I've tried to do this, it's taken me two days of emailing and ringing to get a response! Then when I finally did I was told that if I take my house off the market with Bridgefords and go to another estate agents we will be liable to pay Bridgefords fees even if the other estate agents sell the house!! None of this mentioned when we put the house up for sale with them! They also said when I entered into a contract with them this was for a minimum of 26 week's. I know this was definitely not mentioned as I've been unsure about selling and the estate agent advised me to put the house up for sale for a month and if I change my mind to just take it off the market.I wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

TrustpilotWORST AGENTS
We have listed our property with Bridgeford Hazel Grove branch and it has been a NIGHTMARE! The behaviour of the staff is highly unprofessional and communication is non existent. We got calls to book time in for viewings due to which we would have to either take full or partial days off from work just to be told , when we inquired 5 minutes prior to the booking , that there is nothing in in the system. This has happened 3 times. On the two occasions that there viewings the agents would show up after the viewing time and once viewers had arrived which is just disrespectful and unprofessional. I wish we had read reviews before using them and would never go back to using these people. Stay away from using bridgeford. No matter how lucrative their offers may seem, it’s too good to be true.

TrustpilotThis letting agency is a disgrace.
This letting agency is a disgrace. We rented a property and upon moving in the property had clearly not been professionally cleaned as it stated, it was uninhabitable and absolutely disgusting. We had to pay £180 for someone to come out to professionally clean all the carpets, sofa and oven as they were unusable because of how filthy they were. The bed frame was smashed to bits and completely unusable, the mattress so yellow and smelled so bad we had to throw it outside. The check in inventory said everything was in 'good condition' which it was clearly not! On advise from a staff member we wrote notes on every page of our check in inventory about the details when we moved in.Upon moving out of this property they are now trying to charge £150 worth for 'cleaning' when we left the property in an improved state than when we moved in.Communication has been extremely poor and I am highly disappointed with this company, disgusting service and I will be taking them to court over the return of our deposit as it has been two months since we moved out. Do not rent from this letting agent!

TrustpilotTerrible service cannot recommend them…
Terrible service cannot recommend them any less for their york branch. Terrible to deal with, no interest in helping tenants who have been locked out of their building. Had to stay with friends for several nights and they still haven’t helped us. Utterly ridiculous will be taking this complaint further and claiming rent back as this is insane. AVOID AVOID AVOID even if there are no other properties because of the housing crisis I recommend avoiding them and waiting for somewhere else half decent. I would leave 0 stars 1 is far too generous

TrustpilotIf one could give no star.
If one could give no star.. Trust them to advertise what they cannot offer. We got a falsely advertised service.. Exaggerated pictures of the house and when we complained, we were told rent will be increase and then we moved out.. the threat continued to "release deposit to the landlord and draw a line under it".. No one reads your emails about any complaint...As my complaints were not addressed at all..Would never use them again or recommend to friends and family..

GoogleLOOK NO FUTHER to sell your property.
Great Advice & Service from start to finish at Town & Country Property Auctions.
We actually got more for the sale of a property than the local estate agents valuation, and of course no selling commision fee's as the buyer pays them. Also the exchange happens within six weeks.
I can’t thank their Bournemouth office enough for their friendly and professionalism in dealing with the sale.

TrustpilotAbsolute Joke!
Absolute Joke!Me and my boyfriend went for a viewing and made it very clear that we are NOT interested in a leasehold property (especially if its a house). We went to see the property to be told that it was a freehold. Everything seemed perfect so we went ahead and SOLD HALF of our assets in stocks and crypto to then be told that the Estate Agent didn't double check and the property was actually a leashold. Due to this mistake I lost a good couple of grand of profits. Check your facts especially if you know that we were NOT interested in a leasehold, we made this clear multiple of times to be ignored! A waste of time, money and energy.

TrustpilotBridgeford's Estate Agents in Poynton
Bridgeford's Estate Agents in Poynton - 01/12/21 12.15pm - I phoned this agent to enquire about a property for sale in Poynton (Cheshire). The man I spoke to (may have been the manager) was extremely rude. I asked him if a particular property was still on the market and he said "almost". So I asked him if it was therefore not on the market. He stated "that's not what I said" in an abrupt and impatient tone. (it seemed that we were playing guessing games at this point). I, therefore, asked him if the said property was under offer and he replied that it was (although he sounded unsure). Anyhow, given that the property was seemingly under offer I advised him that I would not view it, at which point he slammed the phone down. The whole thing was really very strange and unwarranted. I can only assume that he "got out of the wrong side of the bed" as my grandmother used to say. (i.e. he put his foot in the used chamber pot).
