We’d like to clarify that until a tenancy agreement is signed, both landlords and prospective tenants have the right to withdraw from the process. This is standard practice across the lettings industry and is clearly outlined in the documentation provided during the application stage. In your case, all necessary steps were being followed diligently, including the processing of your references and guarantor application. Unfortunately, the landlord made the decision to withdraw the property, which, while regrettable, was outside of our control. You were informed promptly, in writing, as per our policy to ensure there is a clear and timely record of communication. We must also take this opportunity to state that Amanda acted professionally and in line with our company procedures. Personal attacks on our staff are not appropriate and do not reflect the high standards we aim to maintain for all clients and applicants. We do understand your frustration, and we genuinely wish the outcome had been different.
