I recently used chancellors estate agents to move to one of there rented property’s. My dealing was with Declan Hartigan ,Who was very informed very helpful and welcoming. Very professional throughout the whole process keeping me informed with a personal touch. It's always a nice surprise when somebody remembers your name considering the amount of people they have to deal with. We would strongly recommend Michael and the Chancellors team to anyone thinking of selling their home. We have sold two houses and purchased one using this office and have always been treated with a very professional approach from the outset. With Michael in overall charge the service & support has been excellent. In particular Michael should be singled out for special praise. He is so welcoming, polite, supportive and tenacious. He keeps the communication channels open with all the different parties involved...........just what is necessary to make the buy/sale happen.

Me, my husband and our daughter just moved yesterday to our new flat. I can't belive all process was so quick and not as complicated as I first thought. Very special thanks to Nathan Tan, he was very patient and professional, he really supported us. He explained us everything, sometimes twice as we are not a native speakers ;). If you're a bit scared of all this "scary" agencies, forms, processes and other things that may seem to be complicated I can honestly recommend you chancellors and Nathan. Big thanks again!

What a pleasant experience! I went into the Henley branch and spoke to Jon, a very helpful employee for your Henley area. I needed some assistance in my property search and I was very impressed with your employees knowledge of the area, not only places/areas within my budget but also how close the houses were to everything else I would need to be around or near my new home, schools, shops etc! I'm in a bit of a rush as I am moving to the area for a job and knew nothing about Henley and surrounding suburbs. Whilst I was in the branch I was comfortable the whole time and did not feel pressured at all, which is refreshing for an estate agents! I left feeling like I had real direction on what was now within my means and will be back to arrange viewings next time I am in the area! A great experience overall!

I would strongly recommend Michael and the Chancellors Botley team to anyone thinking of selling their house. For various reasons our house was difficult to sell but Michael was able to draw on a wide range of contacts in the property market. He encouraged us to think outside the box and explore a less conventional approach. Throughout what proved to be a long and difficult process, Michael kept everything moving. He kept all the lines of communication open and steered everyone involved in the same direction and we are absolutely delighted with the outcome. Michael's positive and professional approach along with his attention to detail made him a pleasure to work with. We have not moved very far and I would have absolutely no hesitation in using Chancellors Botley again.

We used Chancellor's a Botley to sell our house in August of this year. Terry and the team were pofessional, courteous and above all else always on hand to keep us updated, answer our questions and generally assure us that all was going to plan. Our house sold in 12 days! The process end to end was painless and Terry always took the time to check that we were happy at every stage; if all estate agent's looked after their clients like this the overall reputation of the industry would go through the roof.

I have had a brilliant experience with Chancellors at Botley. Jack Parker was the Estate agent who helped me with my purchase of a property and i was really impressed with his service. He was very helpful and thorough and always kept me updated with what was going on. He was very patient with me when I was having a few issues and went the extra mile when it came to helping with any issues. I cannot fault the service I was provided with and would definitely use then again should I require their serivces again.

My wife and I decided to buy our first house just over a year ago. We were finding it difficult to find a property which was right for us so we decided to approach Chancellors in Botley to assist us. Jack Parker was very friendly in showing us around many houses, until we found the one we wanted. He helped us through the negotiation process and was very helpful in giving regular updates. This made the process feel slightly less stressful, and it helped that Jack and his associates showed a genuine caring attitude to help us into our new home. When we eventually moved in, around a year later, my wife and I found ourselves in the difficult position of having to move again due to work commitments. Due to the great service we'd recieved from the Jack, we decided to sell through Chancellors. We were nervous that we would not get a good price, but had a helpful meeting with Jack that helped us come to a decision on a reasonable price. We went through a short process of people seeing the house, and Jack was extremely good at giving us plenty of time before visits to clean up and make ourselves scarce! We were so impressed with the customer service throughout, the genuiness of the staff to help us and the availability of Jack to talk to us to help ease any of our concerns. We have recently sold the property, and made a massive profit on a house we were in for barely a year. We thank Jack for his dedicated work in helping us buy and sell our house, making the process a relatively stress free and organised process. I am more than confident to say that if I were ever to move to the area again, I would happily phone Jack. Furthermore, if all chancellors braches are as caring of there customers as the botley branch, I will certainly be using chancellors again in the future. Thanks Jack!!

I moved into a flat recently and chancellors lied to me about a number of things, my flat is £750 a month plus bills. They said there was heating and gas connected and they lied, multiple times in writing, they also forgot to write in tenancy that they gave my neighbours upstairs a key to my property to access my flat whilst I'm out, they lied about this over and over again until the neighbours actually locked me in my own flat because they 'arent comfortable with my background and me being on benefits' (one of the male students was caught peering through my window as I changed and weirdly chancellors have tricked me and caused me to be completely suicidal due to what they have done to me, I got this place in seek of refuge and chancellors EXPLOITED me.

We have just rented a property through Chancellors in Botley. My family are relocating back to the UK after the death of my Mother. Ben, who is somehow in charge of the lettings team has been rude, arrogant, condescending and down right lazy in his approach. Offering only a bad attitude and an unwillingness to help in anyway. I’m absolutely disgusted by his emails. I have bought and sold many homes in the UK and abroad. I am also a landlord therefore myself and my family have had many dealings with estate agencies. I have never experienced anything like his behaviour. If we hadn’t already signed our contract I would walk away from this property. Thankfully our property is landlord managed, I have zero faith in chancellors and will never use their services again. I hope a member of your management team sees this review and looks into this member of staffs behaviour.

We had a viewing booked on a property in chalgrove 2 weeks ago - we had arranged childcare and were on our way to the viewing to then receive a phone call from the branch saying the viewing was cancelled as the property was already under offer and had been for over 2 weeks - when I asked why they accepted our viewing request they couldn’t give me an answer. Over the next couple of days I phoned up multiple times about visiting other properties they were listing, and was always told “I’ll get someone to call you back”. Never heard anything. Would absolutely avoid this estate agency. Totally unreliable and unprofessional and wasted lots of our time. Luckily we’ve found a gorgeous new home with another agency
