When I decided to use Knightsbridge to help me sell my company, I was contacted by Leanne Boulding and she told me that she would be dealing with selling my company. She has been professional and also very friendly at the same time in helping me try to sell my company. I decided not sell my company in the end. But I would suggest Leanne to anybody wishing to sell their company through Knightsbridge.

Thank you very much Sara at Knightsbridge. We were unlucky that it took so long to sell the business, 3.5 years. With a post Brexit vote when we initially put the business on the market a few deals that fell through and then a global pandemic, it wasn’t easy! However, Sara was professional, thoughtful, respectful and supportive throughout the entire process and we got there a week ago. Sara generated a lot of interest in the business and many prospective buyers did come to view the business. I do recommend you get a few quotes for the value of your business before you put it on the market.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

The service we received from Knightsbridge was extremely poor and unprofessional. We believe Knightsbridge made a catalogue of errors throughout the 12 months we had our business on the market with them. Our business was initially incorrectly valued by their Sales Director and pitched too high for the national / local hospitality market. This had a significant impact on our ability to attract interest from potential buyers. The Sales Director stated that he had several clients who were just waiting for a business like ours. However in the 12 months under contract with Knightsbridge we had one viewing. There was also a clear difference of opinion between 2 of the Directors around the value of the business which led to us dropping the price on two separate occasions, and ultimately to a no sale.Knightsbridge needs to learn from more experienced and competent agents about relationship management and keeping the customer updated on progress or otherwise when selling businesses. We had little/ no contact from Knightsbridge to update us on progress, or expressions of interest. We had to contact them every month to extract even the most basic summary of progress!On reflection, we believe we wasted a year engaging Knightsbridge to sell our business. Our decision to partner with them was based on misleading information and incorrect valuation of our business. We wish we had chosen one of the other agents that provided quotes. In summary, one of the poorest customer service experiences we have received. Would definitely not recommend this company. Avoid at all costs.

Leanne was very efficient throughout the whole process and brought a wide range of credible buyers forward. She was good at pushing things forward to get things finalised especially near the end of the process which is always a critical time. Regular communication throughout. One agent booked my meeting with a seller. Next day, I received an email from another agent saying the seller’s no longer interested. I was shocked, as I didn’t speak to the seller over the phone or in person. They clearly have a lack of internal communication between colleagues. Completely unprofessional and disorganized. This broker is totally a joke, avoid using them.

I've been dealing with Jennifer M, who has been quite frankly - awful. I've had to chase, and chase, and chase - and as a buyer, that's unacceptable. It means you're not serving me as an investor, and you're not serving your paying client as a seller. The most simple and basic questions don't get answered for weeks at a time, and when they do finally remember to get back in touch with you, it's totally irrelevant to what you requested, anyway. Terrible, terrible service - and a terribly poorly run company. If you're an investor / business buyer, then avoid. Plenty of other business brokers who actually want to help get deals done. Avoid these wasters.

I have contacted Knightsbridge as a buyer for a business. I have always found them very polite and engaging, and taking my enquiries seriously to help vet the right opportunities. They contact sellers in good time and allow enough space to liaise with sellers too. Knightsbridge are quick to get back to me and I have communicated with a number of their Deal executives and had a similar experience. Definitely one of the better brokers to deal with and highly recommended.

We put our shop for sale with Knightsbridge as they were the most professional out of the agents we contacted. The phone was answered immediately and if they were busy they always called us back straight after. The number of viewers sent by them was incredible. Sara Manville, Jessica and the team are knowledgeable, friendly, approachable and professional and felt like friends by the time it was completed. Our shop had a number of offers quite quickly and in the end it was between 2 buyers and the sale went through last week. Selling my business

Selling my business, Knightsbridge were pretty good overall, advertising etc was very good, but didn't achieve anywhere near the price they promised at the start. May have been over-ambitious, not fully understanding the nature of the small business I was selling, the economic climate we're in, the lack of serious buyers around at the moment or a mixture of all of the above. But before I spoke to them I didn't realise I could even sell the business for a profit, so I'm happy overall. They were friendly and professional throughout, but a little overzealous in requiring status updates in the final stages of negotiation.
