I found my dream home and the Gleeson team could not have been more supportive and helpful. Sharon Binns is amazing at her job and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me buy my first home. We had issues with mortgage advisor and messed up everything for us but Sharon was there every step caring, supporting us and we couldn’t have got through it without her 😊. Gleeson she is one in a million and you’re so lucky to have her on your team!! Thank you for everything Sharon x

A very informative experience

The follow ups the emails the phone calls made our experience great. As first time buyers in the UK, we had no idea how buying a house works, we needed lots of information to help us make an informed decision. Louise Higgins at Calverley View was very helpful, very patient and tolerant to all of our questions. She gave us all the details we needed and we became convinced that we were making a good choice.

We made a reservation at Vicker’s grange DN11 and we have had a lovely experience so far, Karen has been of great help she keeps us up to date about the development, goes extra mile to make us satisfied and takes her time to answer every question. We are making arrangements to return…

We are making arrangements to return from living in the USA back to the UK and we arranged various visits to Gleeson sites in Cumbria. The service we received was excellent by the sales staff, especially the help provided by Carol at the Barley Meadows site in Abbeytown and Caroline at the Chimes Bank site in Wigton was also excellent. Both were very helpful and made the process of selecting a house a real dream.

Post development, development not complete. All houses sold Gleeson leaves. Roads unfinished, communal gardens not completed, lots of builders waste left on site. Many phone calls to chase Gleason, no response or someone will call you back. Appalling customer service. Would advise people not to buy a Gleason home. Happy to share photos of the mess they have left…… site is Rhodes Point

Middlestone Meadows plot

It’s been over a year since we moved into our lovely home and we never had a problem since. Lovely helpful staff… visited Gleeson in Knowsley last week and the staff couldn’t have done anymore to help. It’s really hard house hunting with little ones in tow but Kath and Karen were really patient with us as a family and so helpful even having colouring for the kids! Plenty to go away and think about for us and some beautiful homes to look around… thank you for all the information!

Unfinished after nearly 6 months moved in. With 2 year update.

*Updated one week after receiving a reply**2 years on. An update*Almost 6 months into being moved in.The garden has not been leveled by Gleesons. I have had to contact and deal with the landscaping company by myself(which have been very helpful).Gleesons have not contacted me as you may expect from them replying so very quickly this to poor review. Not to mention I've left voice messages and called head office several times over the last month and a half trying to get someone to contact me. The number I was provided as my customer care number is a dud and does not work either.I messaged the project manager who basically fobbed me off saying I needed to deal with the landscaping company... even though they are supposed to have sorted the leveling out of the soil in the garden. They haven't even cut down a drain pipe and fitted a cover. I just have 8 inches of plastic 6" pipe sticking up down the side of the house. The manhole in the garden isn't fitted properly. Underneath the drains are full up of soil which is a concern in itself to their work.**2 year on update. They post very diligently in response to poor reviews. Yet they lie about contacting you. Noone was ever in touch like their social media person on here said they would be. Also. I'm out of my 2 year warranty now and have just discovered. Due to damage in the kitchen ceiling. Their plumbing under the bath has a leak.Do. Not. Buy. Gleesons!

The customer service has been excellent. Initially Andie in the sales office, then Shirley; and the site manager Steve and his deputy Gavin, and everyone on site working with them, have been so friendly and so helpful. These staff are really good - Gleeson should clone them!
