After pulling out of buying two old houses because of the work that needed doing and false advertising via Estate Agents I was a bit miffed so I started looking at new builds. I've just reserved my plot in Bradford, the sales team are top notch, and the service is excellent, they explain everything to you with transparency, so no hidden costs, their processes and checks are excellent and everything is clear and concise. The homes look immaculate, thank you Sarah McKeown, very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and efficient. Ill be writing another review when I move in. Thank You Squirrel Fold team.

Glesson has strung us along for over two years telling us yes, this will be fixed, we'll get that repaired then they refuse to do so, saying there is no proof of the conversation. even when you provide proof they still refuse to fix the issues. Yes, their houses are reasonably priced but don't expect any after-sales support once they have your money. I still have outstanding jobs that were on my snag list when I bought the house 2 years and 2 months ago that haven't been fixed, and Gleeson has no intention of fixing them. The work that needs completing was agreed to by the builder we have it in writing and they find any excuse not to fix it.At one point after I bought the house they dug up my entire drive without any notification or permission. Avoid this builder as all costsIt's interesting to see that Gleeson responded to this review by giving me the same email address that has given me the runaround, for the past 2 years and 3 months.This is an attempt to try and make it look like Gleenson is willing to fix the issues, When in reality, they have no intention. I'm seriously out of pocket because of this builder. Gleeson has all the information in writing; at first, the excuse was I gave them too much information, and then it was not all on the same email thread.

I first had the privilege to meet Natalie and Rachel back in June this year when i started to look for property in this area and i was moving up here from Norfolk. From the start i never felt pressured into purchasing a property from Gleeson Homes and Natalie explained my options for two of the developments and showed me several house types and she thought it would be a good idea for me to see the other site at Crawford Park to compare the different areas.This was when i first had the pleasure of meeting Rachel who again explained everything to me,In the end i had the privilege to purchase a home at Crawford Park in BlythTheir agents Rachel and Natalie took me through the whole process with professionalism and keeping me updated was a fantastic way of making it a stress free procedure.I feel Rachel and Natalie went above and beyond to make this an easy purchase for me as i was a few hundred miles away.Rachel and Natalie are both a credit to Gleeson Homes and i am sure any future purchasers.Over the years i have bought and sold a few properties due to moving for promotion at work and Gleeson Homes and Rachel and Natalie have made this move the best experience i have encountered and a big thank you to Olie as wel

I have had the privlege to buy a Gleeson Home on the Estate of Vickers Grange. Their agent Karen took me through the process with professionalism, organisation of build process was outstanding. Karen was the port of call throughout my purchase, which made it a less stressful. Nothing was to much, products you could purchase was also explained and without pressure to feel you needed to purchase. Karen is a valuable asset to Gleeson and potential purchasers as she makes it all easy. A great agent.

Our gleeson experience

Our gleeson experience so far has been fairly smooth sailing. It is going to be mine and my partners first home. The system is pretty organised and easy to follow, so the buying process in general is pretty easy going. It is definitely a good company to use if you’re a first time buyer and you’re a bit confused with how buying a home can work. I can’t yet comment on the actual building or home. Our sales executive, Alex has been helpful & transparent. The home is currently still in development, so Alex has been providing us with weekly updates which we really look forward to seeing each week so that we know where our plot is up to. It’s exciting to see it coming together as time goes on. As this is our first home, we don’t like being in the dark with what’s going on, so receiving updates for us is really reassuring and helpful. As we can’t yet speak on the actual home itself, only our experience so far, we will leave another review after completion & moving in

We dealt with Debra at Monarch Green for Gleeson .She was exceptional at her job and always lovely to deal with and made us feel welcome . We would definitely have bought from her but unfortunately Gleeson homes have got very expensive and as we are trying to downsize to one of their bungalows this was not now possible .But we would be very happy to deal with Debra in the future if circumstances changed as she is definitely an asset to your company .

MONARCH GREEN WILLINGTONTook a day out to view the New homes at the New Gleeson development in Willington.Debs Kirkland the sales executive showed us around the show homes this included a beautiful bungalow we were very taken back with the room sizes. We also viewed a three bedroom, upgrade's are stunning. We fell in love with the downstairs shower room/toilet exceptionally well sized. The driveways took us back plenty of room for two cars. We had a drive around the area and it’s quiet with beautiful surroundings. Debs introduced us to the site manager who gave us some information about the beautiful homes. So pleased we took the time to go and view the development. Thank you Debs for the cup of coffee and the information you provided us today.

Well all I can say is Thank you

Well all I can say is Thank you from start to finish Claire Kensal was amazing she was patient understanding extremely knowledgeable and kind such a lovely lady that saw us through the whole process nothing was too much trouble even though she had to deal with me. We can’t fault Gleeson in the slightest the whole transition was smooth and pretty much painless even after moving in if we needed assistance or anything rectifying then the site foreman Harrison was quick to respond and action out requests. These actions were quickly followed to to ensure they were complete again by Claire she certainly takes great pride in her job. Our home is everything we could wish for seriously glad we chose Gleeson and Claire

Warm and informative experience

We viewed with Tina at model walk. Tina was amazing and informative. We were so happy with how our appointment went. She even swayed my partner to buying a new build on the site as he was on the fence at first as we’d had viewings with other companies before. Maybe the fact they grew up in similar areas near Birmingham held more weight for him 😂. I would like to thank Claire for making every interaction count. Even the small ones. Has your boss ever told you, you're an asset to the company? Claire exceeded my expectations as if she knew what those expectations were. I know very little about Gleeson Homes as a company. To me Claire and Louise are the company. The courteous treatment to which I was subjected during the preliminary stages was second to none. The sincerity, determination and integrity (pull over push) was clear as crystal. I can see that instead of focusing on the competitors Gleeson Homes focuses on its customers. Thank you again Claire and Louise. Keep on giving it 110%. So the Countdown To Home-ownership begins. It's a two storey-house. I just hope a third story doesn't unfold after legal completion. Keep Calm and Watch This Space.

From seeing the property online to moving in Gleason has been amazing. A special thanks to Josh based in Knottingley for all his help and information around the purchase. I have just moved in to my Gleeson home on the Hays Park development and totally love it. The service I have received from start to finish has been excellent. This is the 5th new build I have bought, the third from a large developer and has been the best experience to date. The quality of the fixtures and fittings is so much better than any I have had previously and to date I have only found one minor snagging point that was resolved immediately. Special thanks to Jon Vickers who took over from the original sales person (who was also great) at a point where completion was time pressing and there were numerous hoops to jump through to ensure I hit the deadline for my mortgage product expiring. Jon's passion and dedication to providing outstanding customer service and satisfaction shines through. It is so rare and refreshing to meet someone who delivers on promises, is realistic with progress and gives honest sometimes difficult messages in a positive and reassuring manner, an absolute credit to Gleeson's. Graham the site manager has also been brilliant since I got my keys, taking over from Jon ensuring I am happy with everything. No in intention of ever moving again but if I did a Gleeson home would be my first port of call.

Gleesons home purchase.

Myself and my family have recently purchased a home built by Gleesons on the Hawthorn Fields site in Wragby. From the very first visit, through to the purchase and moving in has been a delight. The sales advisor Scott Allman was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made sure everything was perfect for our family. The house is perfect for us and the after care was just outstanding. Nothing is ever a problem, any issues are dealt with immediately with no fuss. The site manager(s) are also very helpful and aim to please. The homes are finished off with lots of care and attention to detail. We couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Since I bought my house I didn’t have…

Since I bought my house I didn’t have the best experience. Over all I was not treated very respectfully by any members of staff, they would smile to my face and say wrong behind my back, there were things wrong and I was promised it would be fixed but it didn’t, it has now been over a year since I have moved in. Recently a new customer relations member of staff has been dealing with my defects and I am so thank ful to her for just understanding me and geting things done which have been on hold since I have received my keys. Her name is ALICIA BROWN, I want to come on here to say a big thank you for making this work for me before Christmas. You are an asset to not just Glesson but any company you would be employed by. My first appointment at Gleeson Homes was on 22/11, by 24/11 - I had reserved a plot and I am now well on my way to owning my own home at Squirrel Fold. Jon (Vickers) was the first person I met at Gleeson and I can honestly say he is a credit the the company. Initially he was welcoming and helpful and so knowledgeable about the homes and what would be involved in the purchasing process. Over the past 2 days Jon has gone above and beyond for me and continues to do so, even liaising with the mortgage company on my behalf on his day off. Jon has made an overwhelming time enjoyable and stress free, I can’t thank him enough. "Alicia Brown - Exceptional Professionalism and Quality Service"My previous experience has been hot & cold with this company for a numbers of reasons I’m not going to share. I’ve been a customer & home owner of a Gleeson home for three years in December 2023. Having to constantly chase site/contracts managers or regional managers to having to deal with a very poor customer care team who never wanted to listen or just tell lies or make up stories, to the manager shouting at you or laughing at you down the phone. I had to move forward & get NHBC involved to get my snags resolved, this was a huge help in getting matters sorted because although Gleeson declined snags it was within tolerance of NHBC standards for the jobs to be done.I still had outstanding issues that Gleeson Manager had agreed to resolve but just couldn’t tie them down to get them completed.Moving on Alicia Brown got in touch with myself & my wife and has now got all our matters resolved and we are now happy customers.Review:I had the pleasure of Alicia Brown being assigned to get my final snags resolved & completed, and I must say, her dedication and hard work truly set her apart from the rest. Alicia is not only hardworking but also exceptionally honest. Her communication skills are top-notch, especially when it comes to resolving issues professionally. She ensures that the job satisfaction level is maintained at an impressively high standard, she organised visits from contractors and all key dates of works was executed as planned & agreed. As a first time buyer, getting on the property ladder is one of the most daunting things I’ve done - even at my big old age of 40. Claire and Louise at Calverly have been beyond helpful throughout the process, from listening to my situation, to keeping in touch for regular updates and then finally helping me choose all the extras and personal bits for my new home.Buying a house with Gleeson hasn’t been daunting at all - they help you with everything, from Mortgages to Legal advice (they have panels & partnerships) to understanding next steps and helping you pick cupboard doors. Exceptional service

2 weeks ago we moved into our new home at Rainsborough Park. From our very first visit to the sales office, where we met Sharon Binns, to completion, they all have been brilliant. Both Sharon & latterly Josh, the sales reps were very knowledgeable and kept us updated on a weekly basis on the progress of the build. They were always, polite, friendly and supportive throughout the whole process especially as we were not local to the area; I can honestly say that Sharon went the extra mile and really is an asset to the company. As there are a number of units still being completed around us, the site manager, Neil, would always notify us if there were heavy groundwork machinery in the area and/or high noise levels. As with any new builds there are always snags, but these were dealt with within a reasonable time-frame and and I am certain that should something go wrong, Gleeson's would rectify it as soon as they could without a doubt! We are very happy and would highly recommend Gleeson Homes without hesitation.

Bad Experience at Rhodes Point

Rhodes PointI live in Rhodes point since March 2023 and the site manage Colin always do his job very well with good relationships. However, they are doing some driveway finishing work for phase 1 but they start to work in front of my house on 6/11/2023 without any prior notice to us for moving my cars away. They only rely on the contractor Halfway Surfacing to put a preprinted template letter to our letterbox but lack of monitoring. Things happened 6/11/2023, I have a school run and MOT in the morning and when I left home at 07:45, there is still nothing in my letterbox saying there are some work. When I arrive home at 10:45, I cannot park and my other car was blocked. When I open the door, found the letter issue same day on work in my letterbox. Is this a prior notice? Or they can just put something to your letter box and start their work immediately? Really bad and rubbish.Then I found the sales office, the lady Yvonne and her manager Emily was not helpful. Even I talk to site manager Colin and he can do nothing for help.How can Gleenson building homes, changing lives? Changing my live to an even worse side?Also, I had referred a friend to but a house in this estate in Nov2022 but due to human error, the referral fee of £250 still missing. DO NOT recommend Gleenson anymore.
