Coventry branch... I found a member of your staff extremely unhelpful and rude. You can find out who this is by pulling my details and who I've spoken to (if you care?) Two rightmove enquiries and promised calls back with info. I I had to chase twice.To be told rent is "about 900" - when your selling an investment property how can you possibly not have that information and expect landlords to make a decision?The it turns out when you check its £750....It's super unprofessional and I would not be satisfied if I was the homeowner that you are not following up viewing enquiries and that you are not able to give basic info on propertiesFeel free to pull calls with me and listen to how I was handled and how your staff are treating customers.No longer want to view!!! I personally cannot recommend highly enough the Connell’s office on The Broadway , Plymouth. Firstly Cameron valued our property spot on. If I had listened to his competitors on The Broadway I would have been tens of thousands out of pocket. On top of all this the staff our excellent and a pleasure to deal with. Don't expect anyone to pick up the phone if you have a query. Once you manage to find someone who accidently does they will refuse to give escalation Manager details. Don't expect them to adequately staff their offices. Even their Area Managers follow the same corporate line of hiding who their Manager is to avoid them finding out what a poor service they provide. DO NOT USE THEM.

I received a call, when answered they hung up. So I called back to be answered by someone who was quite rude asking if I received a missed call. When asking if that was the intention for me to call back she said basically yes. This is very intrusive behaviour and therefore I would not be using such a sales orientated company!

Extremely rude, asked if I had building regs for a partition wall. Which is completely incorrect. Valued a 3 bed flat in London at less than a studio rate. On top of that absolutely rude, unprofessional. Please if you bank/ lender has used them try to use someone else. They are awful and will treat you like you owe them something.

Cancellation scam and a bunch of money hungry liars.My family have recently moved. We was going to go with Connell. They told us in person there will be no cancellation fees. We was only with them for 4 days. They are a bunch of liars. We wanted to cancel. It's been a few months now and they have only just sent an email saying we owe them. We contacted Taunton connells in person 22/12/23 to say we haven’t had a deposit back. They lied about emailing the landlord as the landlord confirmed he hadn’t received any emails. We explained we have no money for Christmas and a manager called mark assured us a same day payment would be raised today 23rd. They didn’t call back as promised. After calling several times they told us we won’t get the deposit till after Christmas. This has ruined our Xmas and they do not care about tenants. Avoid this agency at all costs. They don’t care about their tenants.

Booked a house valuation in September 2022. Agent from central St Albans office arrived. Promised a written valuation the following day. Nothing since. Agents from the other branch in St Albans keep phoning harassing us, six times in the last three months. Yesterday another then two more this morning. Keeping asking to take us off their list, we are not interested. Zeros stars, absolutely fecking useless. They have four properties plus a garage for sale in the borough. Clearly two offices about to close, good ridance.

Don't bother with the Lifetime mortgage service. It's a waste of money.Other brokers will not charge you until the transaction is successful and at a cheaper rate.I honestly don't know what I paid for. You can easily get the quotes free with other brokers or searching independently and with connells you still pay the admin fee each time anyway for them to do the application.The deals aren't the best on offer either. I shopped around and found better deals in other areas and I couldn't help notice most of the better deals they recommended were owners of connells.Waste of money, shop around.

My partner and I went to view a property … we received a phone call saying the landlord accepted the offer. we paid the holding fee. We then waited 10 days for referencing after having to email everyday for updates they then advised we were unsuccessful and won’t get the deposit back without any reason given what so ever in regards to being unsuccessful and not being able to have a deposit back and now ignore phone calls and emails !!!!! Very poor services for Landlord. Their fees are overpriced and they charge you much more than what tell you in the beginning. They just take your money and you do many phone calls and none address your concerns. Have been waiting for several months and still nothing refunded. In addition no work has been done to the property but still charge you. I advise Landlord to look for other agents and keep away from those thieves. It is too much to give them a star!

Over valued our property to get our business then after months of not putting any effort in they suggested dropping the price, which we did, they then seemed to put even less effort in after that. No one in the Malvern office seemed to have a clue what they were doing. I dropped in one day to talk to them only to find the office almost abandoned, some clueless chap on the desk, sitting in the dark trying not advertise they were open. Everyone else was on holiday or off sick! After about 6 months of getting nowhere we moved agent. Avoid.

When booking an appointment I advised on a time not to attend as I would be unavailable and they sent the surveyor at that specific time, when I asked him about it he said the office hadn't bothered to put it down on the notes. They also decided to devalue the property just because only one other house with the same number of bedrooms in the area has sold recently (it went for more than my sale) and they refused to use the houses with one extra bedroom as comparible (even though they sold for a good value more). It's an eye opener to realise the surveyors are often forcing the market down!

Avoid at all costs!Lack of communication, bullyboy sales tactics that make you feel pressured to go through them to get your mortgage and also tell on the phone your offers have been accepted if you can get down to them by a certain time( we had 2 hours notice to get all paperwork together and get to the office with a 2 week old and 1 year old, which we did but as we didn't choose to take our mortgage through them, they later said our offer hadn't actually been accepted)
