Unprofessional and rude management. I do not recommend dealing with Stevenage branch. I wish I trusted negative reviews before contacting them. They try to force their motgage brokers on you too. If you decide to use them, make sure you document it on paper and record phone calls as they will not admit it later

AVOID THESE CLOWNS AT ALL COST WE GOT OUR NEWLY RENOVATED HOUSE SURVEYED FROM A "MAN" FROM THIS COMPANY WHO LIVES IN FRIZINGTON CUMBRIA, HE WAS IN AND OUT IN 5MINUTES AND I ASKED IF THE HOUSE WAS FINE HE SAID IT WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! 2 DAYS LATER WE RECIVED A PHONE CALL SAYING THAT HE HAS PUT ON HIS REPORT THAT THE HOUSE NEEDS SOME MAINTENANCE WORK DONE, ITS BEEN RENOVATED TWICE IN THE SPACE OF 3 MONTHS! GOING BY THE REVIEWS IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS BEEN A VICTIM OF THIS COWBOY OUTFIT.

They lose your rental paymentsHas happened to me on numerous occasions but the latest one is incredible absolute nonsense Paid rent over phone,they then sent email to me confirming payment,then they chase you up for that payment for the next 3 months?Over the last 3 months have sent them the confirmation email sent by themselves and bank statements showing proof of payment yet they are still threatening me with court action for money they have had?And trying to get this sorted,which is not my fault,has been pathetic as they just don’t respond Any help on here would be much obliged

Stafford office. Sent email to say take my house off the market as i have got to rectify certain problems with my property. Being ignored after several phone calls etc. What does it take to actually get these people to do something.? Going to the ombudsman about them now.! Sick of being ignored. Never again with this company.!

Let’s sum it up nice and quick. THEY COULDNT ORGANISE A P**S UP IN A BREWERY!!!!! absolutely shocking service from the Sittingbourne branch. I put an offer on a house and was never contacted about progress. So I called a week later and the said oh sorry ye the seller is going with somelse and they hadn’t even given people the chance to put in a bigger offer so potentially losing the sellers more money on their house. Also, all they were interested in was keep trying to get me to use their advisor using bullying tactics which was a joke.

Super frivolous agency!!! I've tried several times to book some properties with them (Maidstone) and they promise to call or email me back with the date and time and no one is calling me back anymore. I write emails, calls, nothing. Why are you standing in offices on laptops all day without even answering??? I do not recommend!!!

Worst company to sell a property with. They have extremely poor communication. Never reply to any emails. Everytime we phone them the person we want to speak with is all always conveniently out the office.. they never tell you the truth with what's happening with your sell of your property instead they make up lies to try and bide them more time.

Tried to buy a flat from Basingstoke office was told the seller won’t accept any other broker but there own, funny there broker was £600 dearer then anyone else, wonder where that goes!!I went to see seller and she had no problem with me going with someone else, unfortunately she lost out on a sale. Avoid like the plague.

Cornell’s Huntingdon (David 01480 218868) couldn't give a…. Corrupt, corrupt and more corrupt beyond belief. I put in a offer which I timed out after 3 days. Was asked by this branch to extend my offer period due to new viewings by other parties. During this period place sold and I wasn’t even consulted to revise my offer. No doubt David got his purse from his investor mate. Stay way clear from this branch

If I could give 0 stars I would 5 months ago my mortgage was accepted on a property, they ignore your emails, you call and ask to speak to the person dealing with your case who are always busy or not at their desk and when you ask to speak to a superior they refuse to transfer you through ! I'm fed up and very close to changing solicitors now, the worst experience of being a first time buyer.Still waiting for my call back ! Still have not had it Absolute joke of a company, I would not recommend them to anyone

I would never use this agent again. I have used a number of agents over the…I have used a number of agents over the last 20 years for my rental properties and I have learned the hard way not to use corporate letting agents. You get passed from one department to another. There are endless mistakes and incompetencies. I’ve had many different account managers as there is a high turnover of staff. They promise things will be done and they aren’t you chase them they promise things will be done again they don’t you have to chase them againOne example of many is that I have been trying to get a rental payment from the landlord insurance policy I took out with The agent. After three months nothing had happened. I chased it up and the branch had not returned the claim form. I then wrote a formal complaint. I assumed it would be sorted. One month later it still hasn’t been actioned. They also use local contractors who have to pay a commission to the letting agents so you will be paying a higher amount than if you found your own contractor. They definitely put their own interest above that of the landlord.I have also been told that they no longer hold the keys for my property when I know they are there. This is one of the very basics that you would think that our local letting agent and hold the keys especially when the landlord lives over 200 miles away. When I did visit the branch I was quite surprised at the lack of local knowledge of the area considering they’re meant to be property experts. I would never use this company again.

Scaremongering and near harassment. I mean, if this is what you want then by all means go with them. Several phone calls from Will in the Plympton branch who came to value our property, stating things like I thought we had a friendship, I’m hurt you haven’t sold with us etc. Highly unprofessional. Unfortunately our house fell through due to the couple splitting up. Will called and emailed me several times and I blocked his number, only for him to turn up at our house! I’m glad I wasn’t home alone as I would of felt very uncomfortable.

Peterborough branch.As a first time buyer, I made an offer on a property, they said they would inform me if it was accepted or not, they didn't bother contacting me. I called the next day, didn't ask which property, just said they had multiple offers (all lies) and that the vendor has made a decision which it wasn't mine. 3 months later I looked on land registry how much the property sold for it was under my offer, I was chain free and cash purchaser as I had saved for the last 5-7 years. I wouldn't recommend them if I was a seller and wouldn't make another offer.

Very helpful until straight after the contract signed,had to repeatedly ask to get my contract - only my threat of not paying fees prompted its delivery, found they overcharged me, also incredibly difficult to speak to anyone, their sales progress was virtually non existent - in fact they failed to inform me that the moving date had been agreed i found out by accident from the vendors agent created chaos and so much stress! will NEVER use these "estate agents" again, not happy!

Could you guys pls stop adding fake virtual tours on your ads on zoopla and right movie. It's absurd you would a video of a virtual Tour which just shows picture slides. If you don't have a proper video then let it be. I find this very annoying to open a virtual Tour video and you are showing me animated pictures.

Terrible agent! I requested a refund because I mistakenly paid my rent twice when trying to sort my standing order I rang all last week to get it sorted and all I was getting back was we will sort this as soon as possible. When I rang at the end of last week on Friday the woman said I don't see any action being taken so nobody did anything! She sorted it all out for me and told me should be in my account on Monday meaning today so I rang to make sure and they said yes it will be in my account after 4pm which was great. I just got a email saying it will he in my account in 3-5 working days. The place needs shutting down can't manage anything.

Tried calling the agency 15 times in a single day, sent multiple emails, no reply, only for them to send me an email days later telling me that my rent is increasing HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

We thought we were just getting a valuation of our house but they conned my husband into signing up with them with a 14 day cool off period which I did when I saw what he had signed for. We have been hassled by them ever since and after 3 months have received emails from premier property why haven't we signed papers to sell our house as connells didnt cancel our 14 day cooling off period. Lack of communication or tactics not sure which but dont trust them they are con artists just interested in selling your house. Dont be conned they are very believable

Awful estate agents and made the experience of buying a first home an awful one. I viewed a property twice and made an offer. During the first viewing, everything was fine. Second viewing they complained that the agent showing me around had to be at another appointment 15 minutes after mine. They do not communicate with each other, they fail to reply to emails and fail to answer the phone. I pulled my offer in the end and the reply I got was a demand to increase my offer. Will not be dealing with them again.

It had all been done....lost me a sale..sold again different surveyer everything passed..Sold my second house unfortunately same surveyer.. Came out with same rubbish devaluated 20.000 this time.l put in a complaint got no where..sold again passed everything beware they now own countrywide together money making rip offs avoid both

Such an unethical estate agent! They practically force genuine buyers to use their Mortgage advisor, Conveyancing service to put an offer through, even when we had our Agreement in Principle Certificate sorted, our own solicitor/notary for many years and proof of funds available. This is the first time an estate agent acts in such a disgraceful and arrogant manner. Michael Rye, the manager in Connell Southbourne, demonstrated a very unprofessional attitude and breached our confidentiality rights, which is now being reported to ICO. Disgraceful experience and nasty service.

Birmingham Kings Heath branch- I was shown an apartment with indicative price 160K, liked it and gave an offer of 164K. got a call back and was told by Joanne that vendor actually wants 165K. agreed. a week later got a call from Aaron, 'giving me a chance to increase' cause someone else is offering more. This property wasn't posted as an 'auction'. Feeling upset not been told that the price is actually 165K and over. Wasted my time and very not impressed with this sneaky communication. it's a shame!

Just phoned, Luton branch,and the guy who answered could not deal with my question, telling me they are 5 minutes before closing and there is another phone calling. Extremely rude person. Also lost a properry because they did not allow me to see and put an offer, only because I have to go through their mortgage adviser. I only have an agreement in pinciple from another mortgage adviser. This is against free comerce. You cannot force me to go with your mortgage adviser! I would never call you again, but the problem is that you may have a house that I would like to buy. I feel discussed that I have to accept such behaviour and on top of this, you will get sale commissions from it.
