GoogleDon't take any service from them. I release the apartment 2 months ago and they didn't give us the deposit
We have never had a tenant of this name. All deposits remain secure until any proposed deductions are agreed. We use an independent inventory company to minimise deposit disputes.

This agency is a complete HOAX. They are not at all professional in their dealings. They speak to you very politely in the beginning of the deal and promise everything but once you are in, they ll show you their true colours. We were given a property with pharaoh ants, broken fridge, freezer, hob and completely uncleaned. After lot of pestering, they got everything fixed. They do not even get maintenance work done while they charge the maintenance fee form the landlord. They harass tenants relentlessly. LANDLORDS please be AWARE!!! They do not maintain your properties. They just make money by some sweet words. We have complained about their service to THE PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN but they are still not bothered. I would request to all Landlords to be vary of this FRAUDSTER AGENCY!!! They have no complaints procedure in place. All the employees are completely unprofessional and unethical. They use all possible methods to scare you all the time and enter the apartment by using management keys.

The apartment was in a pretty bad shape and hadn't been reconditioned for years. Furniture inside it was pretty bad. Fridge had no shelves, oven not working, only 2 of the 4 cooker burners were working. None of this were fixed even though we requested it several times. Check-in inventory check was done extremely poorly. I was handed in an uncompleted form - I had to fill the condition column of all the items inside. I did so to my best knowledge, only to find out this will cost me a lot. At the end of my tenancy, the inventory check-out was done extremely rigorous and included at least 15 pictures for each room. Then they proposed a list of deductions that would almost amount to my whole deposit: £1200. This is normal practice for them - check their Google reviews. GoogleOther than having to wait for a bit for the deposit, we didn't really have any problems with this agent. We were allowed to move in very swiftly and didn't really have any problems with the place for the duration of our stay (1 year). E-mail replies on different queries was slow at times, but nothing major. All-in-all a good experience. (never mind the user name by the way, I don't use Google/gmail so I just made something up)

GoogleAs a tenant it was a pleasure dealing with both Nici and Matthew from Stewart Oliver throughout my tenancy at the Hive. On the odd occasion where I had to report an issue with the apartment, it was dealt with promptly and satisfactorily. I received my deposit in full (less the checkout fee) within a week of having vacating the property. Those complaining about getting a fraction of their deposit back most likely didn't look after the apartment and didn't pay their bills, hardly the managing agents fault. I have no hesitation in recommending Stewart Oliver to any prospective tenants.

Throughout the 6 years, they have never failed to provide me with viable tenants, and have managed both property and tenants with expert professionalism. I have recently had occasion to enlist their help in selling an investment property within the City centre of Birmingham, and was delighted by the speed and efficiency they displayed by securing a sale, at the right price, within a week. Stewart Oliver are undoubtedly experts in their field, and know their market thoroughly, as they have demonstrated on several occasions when I have sought their advice. GoogleMatt and Nici are very experienced letting agency, they are always helpful to the tenant. For landlord reference - they always build long term trust with landlords and always get the price right and so you will leave your house/flat in the safe pairs of hands with them!

GoogleStewart oliver have managed my masshouse property for a number of years, they provide an excellent full management service at a very reasonable cost and get me the highest possible rent with no voids, this is very important to me as I'm overseas and do not need the headache of my uk property management. stewart oliver run a very professional & honest business and wouldn't use anyone else....

Dear Yan Zhang, I am sorry that you are unhappy, unfortunately we have an appointment system and as you were 30 minutes late, we had another client moving in. shouting and abusing our staff is completely unacceptable. We moved you in as soon as we were free. When you reserved the apartment you agreed to a start date and that could not be changed as it had been agreed with the Landlord.

GoogleAs a tenant it has been only a pleasure dealing with both Nici and Matt during our tenancy in the Rotunda over the past year. Any problems reported were resolved timeously and to our satisfaction. They always went the extra length to try and assist us. I have no issues recommending this agency to future tenants.

I should have read the reviews about them before starting my tenancy. everyone is claiming the same story that happened to me as well. Someone should do something about this...

GoogleI’ve dealt with several state agents but Stewart Oliver was one of the best. Very friendly, helpful and respectful. Simply take care of the property and you’ll get your deposit.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
