Tried to make a new account and they IMMEDIATELY disabled it. Clearly a bot, since it was within seconds. They claimed I 'breached community guidelines' but I've never done that. So they won't even let me appeal. Reading online, many, many people had this experience. I'm disgusted at the unethical approach of a massive company that won't even offer people the way to contact them. Would love to see an Instagram boycott...

My experience has been negative because of the number of Nigerian scammers who deliberately target innocent fans of musicians and actors or impersonate people all in order to extorte money or blackmail users. Totally sickened by it. I tried to have an open profile for my art work but have given up as it's inundated with scammers. A total disgrace and the fact that real people might be conned is even worse.

Instagram blows donkey balls. YOU literally can respond to a question, zero offensive words or context, and it will complain and remove comment saying you went against guidelines. You cannot even say you like blue better than red without it punishing you. It literally bans you from habing your own vouce, yet if you put it in a meme, it can be as chauvinistic, offensive, rapey, cringe, racist and not go against guidelines. Yet call someone out for being such in their post, yeah instagram makes you...the golden hero punishable. Instagram also, like FB, EXTREMELY chauvinistic. It will literally allow men to objectify, insult, call women anything, bit the minute a woman stands up telling him to stop being a d*ck, she gets banned. That right there is disgusting blatant chauvinism towards women that Instagram and fb has. Many came forward with experiences of those. Sehr schlechte App. Instagram tut nichts umm seine Benutzer zu schützen und ihnen zu helfen bei Problemen. Ich kann nur vor dier App warnen. Ich selbst nutze Instagram seit Jahren. Habe aber jeden Tag oder jeden 2 Tag Probleme mit der App. Fehler, man kann keinen Text Posten unter seine Beiträge. Oder man wird ständig eingeschränkt, weil irgendwelche ungewöhnlichen Aktivitäten im Konto waren. Obwohl ich nicht einmal online war. Ich gehe nur einmal am Tag auf die App. Um mich über meine Vorlieben und Neuigkeiten in Bezug auf Musik und Stars zu informieren. Und die Probleme gehen nach der Anmeldung schon los. Ejeden Tag wird man von Instagram gemoppt, Funktionen deaktiviert, Konto gesperrt oder sonst etwas, man muss sich alle 2 Minuten verifizieren und andere Schikanen. Ich könnte manchmal echt weinen , weil das echt schrecklich ist. Man möchte nur ein paar Beiträge Posten für seine Fans und wegen Musik schauen und wird nur gemoppt und schikaniert. Das geht schon seit ich mein Konto auf Instagram erstellt habe. Wenn man Hilfe möchte und die meldet, wird es ignoriert. Die Hilfe funktion in Instagram ist ein Witz. Die bringt gar nichts. Weil Instagram seine Nutzer nicht schützen tut und ihnen nicht hilft. Ich bin echt verzweifelt. Ich kann nur jeden vor der App warnen und vor Instagram. Ein Stern ist echt zuviel für diese schlimme App.

Sent in profiles and posts that violated TOS but was always told "it doesnt" despite it being literal CP, doxxing, and/or harassment. But the second I chide an anti vaxxer I get banned without question. I've seen comments of mine removed for "spam" for explaining physics and biological concepts like reaction speed across the central nervous system, and for talking about AutoCAD. So one cam only conclude Instagram promotes child porn and punishes STEM promoters.

Frauds post great products and when you buy and receive them, they're totally different models and materials(totally garbage) and when you try to warn others not to buy from them, Instagram limits your account without any investigations. You can't follow new accounts and your comments get deleted!!!!!! Also Instagram support email never answers.Frauds win on Instagram and victims suffer.If Instagram doesn't fix this problem, I won't use Instagram in near future.

This was installed on our tablet. Often failed to work as it should, never any explanation. Frequently denied access, clearly through technical problems - sometimes taking days to resolve.Then screen wouldn’t load, stayed white with logo dead centre, no progression. Days and days.Tried recommended solutions until we had no choice but to reinstall.That worked, but the Instagram we have now is small, pinched and constrained, looking nowhere near as good as it was before (and that could have looked a lot better).Presumably Zuckerberg’s bored-in-the-office-monkeys have been tinkering again.With social meedja being such a joyless affair I really wonder why we all continue using it. It is intrusive, slow, annoying, low res, constraining, often buggy and is constantly asking for access to private data, which is just plain sinister.Having decided to give up on it for the week when it wasn’t working we all found the experience rather liberating.It has motivated us to look into alternatives.

This app is awful, you'll spend 8 hours of watching mind numbing content only to find that you've wasted your precious time on this earth, but that's what Instagram wants, to be as addictive as possible so that you keep going back to them and that the litany of ads they force on you don't seem so bad. It's a toxic relationship. The comments are filled with hateful bile and toxicity, the worst of humanity forms a conglomeration of loathing and revulsion. You'll find incels, sigma males, nazis, narcissists and child predators. Your comments will be deleted for spam whilst the bot with breasts as it's profile picture will be absolutely fine. Idots and trolls lay in waiting in the comments waiting for their next argument. Don't waste your life on this pathetic and redundant app. It used to be good but now it's just a glorified porn site that protects bigots and fuels itself off of your depressive scrolling habits.

They don't allow a conservative point of view. If you're liberal you can use profanity threats racism (etc) I don't think speaking the truth of how one views things should be censored just because it goes against their political brainwashed beliefs. I haven't been able to log in for over a month. Keep getting the same "There was a problem logging into your account. Please try again later." When I can finally log in, I'll most likely just delete my account. Very disappointed in Instagram lately.
