GoogleHello, me and my family rented the apartment through Eight8 Property.
When we just came to the apartment, our bed was broken, heating system did not work, washing machine was older than our grandparents and did not work in the proper way. Even a cooker burnt out a week later. That was a complete disaster.
My was not happy.
The reason why I am giving 5* to Eight8 Property is that from my point of view everybody can do mistakes. The technique sometimes can be broken as well, but the fact that Eight8 Property
- Fixed our cooking machine
- Provided us a brand new washing machine
- Helped us with slabs for bed
Is the reason why I put 5*. Service is really nice and even if these guys can fail.in the beginning they will do their best to fix everything.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleMonique is the nicest agent in the world. I moved out before my graduate certificate arrived, and she went to the post office to post it to me for free. During the tenancy, she helped me change a new fridge and bed. I had some bad experience with other agents in eight8 who always ignored my emails. However, Monique, she never ignored my emails. She is super nice and helpful. 100 % recommendation. I would give 5 for Monique but this one star deducted due to other irresponsible agents.

GoogleLuke has been great! I initially was highly sceptical upon reading reviews on Google, nevertheless I decided to proceed forward and Luke has been great. Luke responds immediately to questions I had regarding the property, he is highly professional. I was very sceptical viewing a property in the pandemic however upon my arrival Luke ensured he conducted my viewing per the new Covid-19 guidelines he was wearing full PPE including gloves and ensured he didn't compromise my health. GoogleI rent The cube apartment in Birmingham centre from Eight 8 last year, currently I am still living there.
The apartment is great. Although, there were some issues with toilet, Monique and Luke deal with them very quickly. If remember correctly, the sent an plumber to my apartment the next day I reported the issue. That was quite a surprise.
I am really happy to what they have done so far.

If you are thinking in rentinf from this office, think again. They are not professional. As soon as they get your money they will not reply your emails or they will reply, but will take long time. Additionally, Their smile will disappear when you sign the agreement.
At the end of the contract, they will not give your deposit.
At the end of the contract I received an email ordering me to send my bank info to return the remaining of the deposit after deduction, but it is ridiculous. It includes a lot of cleaning as if they are explaing you the steps of cleaning. It is supposed to be the end of tenancy cleaning.
Here is the text of their letter:
'' I have carried out the final inspection and have found that the following deductions are required. Please reply to this email with the bank account details you would like the return made to.
Checkout fee:
1x extra day:
Cleaning:
Oven/Hob deep clean:
Steam clean carpets:
Touch up painting:
Bulbs:
Mattress steam clean: ''
I opend a dispute and I got the disputed money from DPS, but when I send the eight8 property my bank Info they have not replied my email up to now and I have not got the remaining of my deposit up to now.

Six months to solve a water leak problem (not in my apartment) and still unresolved painting of the walls to eliminate the mold that was created with the water leak. Although I note your dissatisfaction with the speed of repairs. But unfortunately as you have mentioned the leak was not in your apartment but another, not managed by ourselves. It took a considerable effort to obtain the owners details and to encourage them to make a repair, which wasn’t affecting them. Obviously, until that was done , repairing and decoration would have been pointless.This has now been done so work can be commenced to redecorate. I have asked the maintenance team to arrange it with you asap.

GoogleThe most terribly disorganized company.
Have been going through the process of trying to move in for 2 weeks with this lady called pippa, but she seems to not know what she’s doing.
She takes days to reply to emails, will promise to call back and never will and as a result I may now not be able to move into my apartment the day I fly back, it would have to be 4 days later
Making me incur yet more accommodation costs apart from the already expensive apartment I’m going to be paying for.
Avoid using this company and pippa in particular if you can.

GoogleAbsolutely not recommended. I strongly advise not to approach this agency. They just try to get the most money out of your need. On the other hand they will ask you 250 £ for managing the reservation and remove the advertisement (thing that they will never do) knowing in advance that they are not going to rent the apartment, I do not understand what is the intention of this procedure but it is frankly suspicious. It took more than a month and a half to return the money from two deposits that they made me pay (£ 500). On the other hand the employee with whom he was in contact (Matt) simply disappeared after receiving the money. Also mention that the man seems to be a very busy person and takes too long responding taking into account the needs of people who come to a real estate agency. As a conclusion I should recommend that you avoid this agency because I believe that they are not professionals in their work and I personally lost a lot of time. I hope the agency does not have the gall to consider this review as "spurious" or unknown as it often does.

Firstly, it needs to be made clear that we act as a Third Party for the managing agent of this development. We are not involved in the final say of the approval of a tenant securing one of these apartments. We conduct the viewings and pass on the applications to this company for approval. At no time do we ever hold monies and haver never taken a deposit directly from any applicant. This is paid directly to the managing agent.
There are over 600 apartments in this development and therefore the advertisements are rolling. We do not need to remove the advert as it is not apartment specific ,other than the number of bedrooms. The original application made on 8th March was for a studio for two people and two dogs. This application was refused by the managing agent as they believe that this studio would be too small for two people and two dogs. On 14th March a request was made to the managing agent for the refund of the holding funds. As this was being processed a further application was made for a one bedroom apartment and a further amount was then required as we were informed that the previous funds had already been processed for repayment.
The managing agent then requested that a guarantor would be required for this second application. At this point the applicant decided they no longer wanted to proceed with the application. Once again, a request was made for a refund. We received confirmation from the managing agent on 1st April that all monies due had been sent from their account.
After the funds were paid (not to Eight Property or Matt), all contact was then with the managing agent, whose details were given at the point of application. All correspondence from this time was to be direct with them.
Time was wasted on our part with viewings for two applications that did not proceed. We do not consider the review to be spurious. However, we do not feel that the facts in this review were accurately presented.

GoogleThey're the best at what they do. I recently rented a property through them, they are very quick and concerned about your likings. I recieved a hassle-free move in and didn't had to worry out anything, moving in experience was just the best. We got into a bit of issue where the property was let-agreed with someone else as well but the letting agent Simone helped me through every step of the way and secured the property for me as I paid the deposit first. After that everything was hassel-free and I didn't had to worry about tenecy agreement or nor the DPS, as everything was given at the right time.
