We used Drakes Estate Agents for the sale of our house and really couldn't be happier with the service provided. They are very approachable and friendly and throughout the entire process (from exchange of contracts) they have always had time for us and helped to solve any issues we have faced. The initial listing and photos of our property were produced to a very high standard and they even went above and beyond with service by asking to re=attend our property at Christmas time to take additional photos whist our property was decorated to appeal to more prospective buyers. We have always been able to contact Drakes (whether through phone,email or in person) and they have made the tough process of moving house much more bearable. We would highly recommend using Drakes Estate Agents to anyone looking to buy or sell property. A big thank you to the team at Drakes!

I viewed 1 property to buy with Drakes, I don't recommend. In order to buy a house, you need to have an income, for that income you need to be at work, right? Sometimes it's impossible to view a house if they take place during the weekday due to work commitments, so my husband was unable to attend the viewing and my FIL viewed on behalf of my husband. My husband has given me full trust and freedom if I want to put an offer down on a house. The house I viewed with Drakes, I wanted to put an offer down, however they refused to accept our offer because my husband hadn't viewed the property, which I thought was absolutely unfair. The women who called me knew my husband didn't visit the property yet she still asked if I want to put an offer on the house, to which she then replied with, we can't accept your offer.. why ask me in the first place? This is their company procedure apparently, and I don't agree with this, it's completely unfair to working people, house viewings are an absolute nightmare to arrange when you work full time. I had a much better experience with other estate agents who DO allow you to put an offer if your partner hasn't viewed.
