I would like to say thanks to Carter…

I would like to say thanks to Carter Jonas and her whole helpful staff. specially MADDY as soon we contact her regarding any issue about flat she is straightway on it. MADDY very helpful and try to resolve issue on the spot if incase she cannot do that she make sure that this issue get resolved ASAP. I think personally Carter Jonas is lucky to have very helpful staff like others and Maddy.

AVOID at all costs. Still waiting to resolve and still no response from the below. Nearly 4 months now after handing the keys back. Terrible company.After responding to a request to advise carter Jonas how to help me, still no further in obtaining the rent deposit back. Total delay technics.Completely unproffessional company - Whilst trying to get my rent deposit back, the Senior Building Surveyor suggested, 2 unqualified statements. I am yet to have my monies back, or even paret there of.1, All electrics and data cables should be removed from the floors and walls. Seriously, this was part of the reason we rented the place originally. He had no idea what the landlord required either.2, 2 different cracks that had appeared in entire building was because the decorator had not even visited. I cannot believe he could even suggest this. It was obvious that the old building needing regular decoration, which we did, regularly. It was obvious the decorator had been in. If he thinks he is qualified, then I would check his training certificate, of course after 3 months cracks could appear in an old building. Because of his attitude, I will not be using Carter Jonas for any of my future ventures.I have just sent you an email, after your response. Awaiting a positive reply

Nice experience

I urgently needed to rent a flat when I was required to return to on-site working. Tanya Hall from Carter Jona's Oxford branch was really helpful with facilitating my communication with the landlord and providing useful information about the move. With her help, I managed to complete all the documents and secure the flat in less than a week, which saved me a lot of hassle. This was the first time I used Carter Jonas, and I would consider using it again in the future.

Great selling experience with Carter Jonas and the agent who dealt with me, Rupert Reeves. Achieved valuation, which was the best bit! I sold my father's house in Newbury - he had already moved out. The whole process was smooth and easy, and the agent was always quick to respond to any queries. I have no complaints at all - very happy that I used them after speaking to several other firms first.

Amazing team.

Naomi at Carter Jonas has been amazing, it was a massive hurdle for me with selling and then renting and extremely stressful on the selling end (with a different agent I must add) but she made it quite easy for me as I haven't rented for about 18 years. We had the pleasure of choosing Julia Wilson and Carter Jonas from a field of five local Oxford estate agents. Although the rates she quoted and the apartment estimate was similar from all agents, we chose Julia because we liked her personality, she was amenable and professional and realistic about the sale. No smarm, no slick talking, Julia possesses empathy and gave us confidence in her ability to sell our property.This was a difficult sale due to Covid circumstances. Avoid they treated me appalingly

I had a disgusting experience selling my house through Carter Jonas.Despite teliing them I wanted to keep my sale private to my neighbours, one month before my move they went round each house in my close, (apart from mine) with a A4 sheet of paper advertising a photo of my home and letting people know they had sold it, therefore disrespecting my need for privacy.Worst company i have ever had the misfortune to use.

I used a "partner" at Carter Jonas as a valuer for a statutory lease extension for a property that I own. The individual concerned wrote an initial valuation report in which I found (after spending ten minutes reading it) several mistakes. He was rather reticent to correct them, but did so after a bit of argument. I also had to argue with him in order to get him to lower the valuation estimate, which is clearly in the interest of the client in contracts such as this. During these discussions he said at one point "a few hundred pounds here or there doesn't make any difference." Well, maybe it doesn't matter to him because it's not his money, but it clearly matters to the client! I was not very pleased by his attitude overall, and his work (which is routine at best) was expensive, and careless. Would definitely not use Carter Jonas again.

We selected Carter Jonas to act on an executors’ sale of a flat in Bishop Mansions because of their experience of handling transactions in this complex. We were not disappointed and very pleased with the service we received from Wayland Ward-Smith and Mandy Jacobs. They showed the flat to a number of potential buyers in a very short period of time and secured an offer at the asking price. The transaction was then delayed due to challenges in obtaining Probate but we received good advice on how to manage the delay and they also kept the intended purchaser advised so that they acquired the property when formalities had been completed

Marlborough Lettings are faultless

The lettings team at the Marlborough office can't be faulted. We were anxious to rent out our property for the first time but they did everything they could to help us through the process so it ran smoothly. They had the brochure made up swiftly and the house was circulated to their existing database and never even made it to market as they found us great tenants straight away. Carter Jonas now manage the property on our behalf and it's great to know it's in safe, trust worthy hands with the Marlborough team.

Professional service second to none

We used Carter Jonas's Fulham branch (Wayland Ward-Smith) to sell a much loved flat in January. We have used the branch on two previous occasions and again could not fault the service. We achieved almost 10% above asking price and were impressed with the professionalism with which the transaction was handled. The communication was clear and advice was offered where needed. I would like to praise Ms Lajla Turner from the South Kensington office. She gave me great advice about the decor of the flat. I followed her advice and in less than two weeks she had found me a suitable tenant with almost the asking price. Ms Turner provided us with very reliable reference checks and the right tenant. She worked w/ends and even during her week's holiday and throughout was extremely constructive, courteous and helpful not only to myself but also to the tenant.
