Thank you Ad Hoc!I was in need of immediate accommodation, I had to move out of my old place quickly and I momentarily moved away. Lauren was excellent - she dealt with my requests (and my poor internet signal!) and we arranged an online viewing of the property. Everything was dealt with promptly and I have moved into the property with no issues. Thank you so much Lauren and Martin :)

Worst experience of moving in my life so far. We weee told we would be on a rolling contract of 6 months, as the property we are moving into hasn’t been used for a long time. Let alone did we pay a holding fee, we also had to pay another £1,100 which I know is normal, but when we moved in, the keys weren’t organised, the hot water wasn’t working, we had no connection on our phones, no cooker, the white goods were still in the property so my family members had to carry them outside themselves. There was dead flies and spiders everywhere, windows weren’t clean, cobwebs, stains on the walls, doors had marks and things stuck on them, everything except the floors were not clean. The representative left 15 minutes after we were there and that’s because there was lots left to do. We were given false information on the property and the surroundings of it. The company just seem to want there rent money paid and don’t care about evicting their tenants 3-6 months later down the line. We moved in and moved out 9 hours later. Three of us took the day off work to do this house move and it was a waste of time. I will never trust Ad hoc properties again, such a shame!

I've lived in four different Ad Hoc properties spread over a time of approx 8 years. Each property was unique some were extraordinary places to live.The headline with Ad Hoc is that it's an extremely cheap way of living. Whilst being with them I was able to eradicate almost all my personal debt. Putting me in a great place to buy my own home.I found Ad Hoc to be responsive to queries and issues as well as helpful, friendly and professional.The staff are awesome too special thanks to Rob, Lee and Lois.I would wholeheartedly recommend Ad Hoc to anyone who needed to live cheaply or anyone who enjoys living in an extraordinary property for less than the price of most room shares.

I went with ad hoc for 9 months and my partner used them twice and had very similar experiences, in my opinion I would strongly advice against using ad hoc for the following reasons;-the property manager changed the locks before the tenancy end date, meaning I could no longer do final cleaning. They charged me from my deposit for all the locks changing before the tenancy end date, removing the option for me to return my keys-they charged a cleaning fee for the whole house and not just the room-they have a hands-off approach to resolving conflicts between housemates, preferring to not act in situations of racial and sexual discrimination.-people enter your room unannounced for inspections, and linger-it used to be much cheaper but now barely saves you anything (>£100) in exchange for having no rights as a tenantI would strongly advice prospecting tenants to go through a traditional letting agancy and avoid the headache and threats caused by ad hoc.

Worst experience. Hidden terms and conditions will share tenants at 11th hour when ppl have no other choice to return back home. Worst services. I suggest not to visit any of there houses without read you contract and terms and conditions.

Came across a Adhoc property online as needed something quick and affordable at the time (Oct 2021) and found them seamless to deal with through the vetting stage to moving in. The room was a very good size and I was able to furnish it also adding carpet. I dealt with Martin who would also do room inspections monthly and Craig with maintenance issues etc. Both were always approachable, professional, very honest, transparent and communicated very clearly by email and texts. Updates were always provided and any maintenance issues were always acknowledged and resolved when they said they would be. Having had a bad experience with previous management my experience with Adhoc is like night and day compared to them. I only moved out at the time due to the church selling the property. Adhoc again were very clear with their notice period and gave us 2 weeks extra on top of the 28 days guardian notice period. We were always kept in the loop regarding the potential sale from negotiations as far back as December 2022. Deposits were kept secure and returned as advised. An overall excellent experience of how property management and dealing with guardians/tenants should be. Anyone looking at Adhoc can be rest assured your going to be treated well communicated clearly to and have a positive experience. In the North area/ Leeds you may come across Martin and Craig who will provide you with the same experience I had so overall I'd definitely recommend an Adhoc managed property if your looking for quick affordable accomodation with a guaranteed positive management experience to go with it.

From the initial contact to handing over the keys, Daryl has been exceptional. He went above and beyond the call of duty to support us and understood our circumstances and was able to advise us accordingly. Even when there was an unusual delay in receiving our reference, Daryl showed empathy and guided us on the right action to take to speed up the process. Daryl is a great representative of Ad Hoc and I'll be referring friends and family to Ad Hoc via Daryl as I know they'll be in safe hands. Thank you!

The house is amazing and very affordable due to being on the property guardianship scheme which works really well. Ad hoc property has gone the extra mile in helping me secure a very decent propertyI want to shout out to Daryl who has been outstanding, and who is someone who keeps to his word, and keeps you updated every step of the wayActually it's because of him I chose to try out being a property guardian because I feel that he is able to resolve any issue that might arrise which makes the process much more doable in my eyes. The company and it's staff are ethical and decent and respect is given and received which is very rare when renting from private agencies nowadays.I can hand on heart recommend ad hoc propertyYou might find yourself in a sweet situation and saving some of your hard earned cash to spend on yourself instead of a letting agency or landlord....But for me the main selling point is the flexibility of not being tied down for a year.... It feels great to be able to take opportunity as it comes and if you are a remote worker it is absolutely ideal.

I liked dealing with the friendly and efficient Ad Hoc Team and enjoyed my time staying in the property. Everything was as advertised. The administrative aspect was comprehensive and efficient - including the return of my deposit. Martin Doyle (the recruiter) went above and beyond in helping me with my arrival and was quick to respond after I’d moved in. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know the others staying in the property.
