Hunters Northenden branch. Louis at Hunters could not have been more helpful. I was renting a retirement property for my father who was moving areas to be nearer us. Louis was very understanding of our needs and our urgency and we had everything sorted within 3 weeks. He was very efficient and answered emails very promptly. We couldn't have had a better experience.

GoogleI am a private landlord, I have been in this line for about 30 years, I look after my comercial propertys by my self, However I have quite a few of my houses in the hands of hunters,.. the whole team are very professional. I have used them for over 10 years, I must say that they look after my propertys in a very professional way., This leaves me with time to look after my comercial portfolio....If you are a experianced land lord [or a first time landlord] I can not recomend a better rental agent. I am looking to ad to my residential portfolio this year and I will defanatly be dealing with the team at hunters.

GoogleElisa, Justine and their team went way above and beyond the call of duty in quickly finding us a great rental home in a beautiful location and within our budget. If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would. They worked on their days off, early in the morning and late into the evening to ensure paperwork was ready and that we could move in quickly, and they did it professionally and with grace. I was amazed at their level of service. I can't praise them highly enough.

I have had experience with Hunters in the past on multiple occasions. I am disappointed everytime from their lack of felixibility. For example if you're trying to rent and your annual income matches but does not excees what is expected by Hunters then they will abruptly cut you off. Also horrible customer service by the staff and do not know what they are doing. On a flat i called twice one staff member told me i had to satisfy an income of 29.000 pounds and another staff member told me i had to exceed 30.000 wich makes me doubt their honesty. I have had much better experiences with other agencies. Do not reccomend.

GoogleHunters took over our house sale from another agent. The viewings they set up were more appropriate and resulted in an acceptable offer. However, Alison and her team went above and beyond their remit to ensure we got fast exchange in very difficult personal circumstances for us and worked very hard to ensure our sale proceeded when the chain could have collapsed. We recommend this branch very highly and Alison Gillett in particular..

My boyfriend and I were purchasing a property through Hunters and they were pleasant enough. However, when we received the results of the independent survey two months down the line, it highlighted what we considered to be significant problems with the property, particularly the necessity of a whole new roof, and the replacement of brickwork.Naturally, we had not - and could not have - factored in the cost of these repairs, or the time it would take to carry them out, so we emailed our contact at Hunters in Sunderland, simply outlining the issues that the survey had presented, and attaching the report in full. The reply we received explained ‘The seller is not under any obligation to carry out any work or offer a reduction’. While true, this attitude seemed hostile to us, and rather unprofessional. We did not mention a negotiation of price, or the current owners carrying out the work themselves - although, to be frank, these did not seem unreasonable expectations.We had misgivings about how considerable an undertaking the repairs would be, both financially and physically, but were open to discussing options with Hunters/the sellers. However, we decided to withdraw from the sale, and Hunters’ attitude did play a big part in that. As a prospective buyer, you do not have a choice over which estate agent to deal with, but I would certainly be reticent about purchasing a property sold by Hunters in the future, and would strongly advise sellers to consider the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this page before engaging Hunters, as the wrong estate agent could scupper a sale, as in this case.

We dealt with Alison and Sarah, both of whom were really professional and always available, consistently going above and beyond their day job to help us. They helped to facilitate a quick and (relatively) stress free move and we were so pleased that we made the choice to go with them.

We drove over 250 miles to view a house listed for let @ £900. We said we like it and were happy to proceed, after all similar properties down south cost £1000 a month….We were absolutely shocked when they got back to us, offering us the house for £1000 because they knew we could afford it… we were aghast! I have never ever encountered such skullduggery and dishonesty…. Of course we declined… how can one deal with such a dishonest estate agent as these!

GoogleHunters is amazing and I recommend them to everyone - I have gone from being terrified of moving out to overflowing with excitement!! I am moving out for the first time and know next to nothing about the process. Hunters has guided me every step of the way and has been incredible at all stages of the process. It started with me finding a property on Rightmove and booking a viewing. I went to see it with one of their agents - William - and was not happy with the place, and thought that was the end of it. A few weeks later, one of their other agents - Hannah - called me asking for feedback on the property. I told her it wouldn't be positive feedback but she wanted to hear it anyway. She then informed me the problems were being addressed and invited me back for another viewing as well as another similar property she thought I might like. I went back and still didn't want the original property, but the other property she found was perfect for me. I asked to put in an application and she e-mailed me the same day with the application form. I filled it in, sent it back, paid the holding fee and received a link to the online portal. The online portal is fantastic and made it super easy to provide them with all the information they needed from me. It has a live chat which helped me when I wasn't sure what I should be entering, and provides a good overview of where you are in the process. I also e-mailed my questions to Hannah directly several times, and always received an answer within an hour or two. Hunters also recommended several companies they work with, and their recommendations have been good so far! I know that I can e-mail Hunters and get a reply quickly, and I know that if I want to talk "now" then I can pick up the phone and speak to someone. The process has kept me very involved and has been very easy. My only worry is that it may have spoilt me when it comes to other companies! Time will tell how Hunters handles any ongoing queries I have with my tenancy, but right now I have nothing but good things to say about them, and I strongly recommend anyone looking to move to give Hunters a try!!!

Hunters Horncastle:If you are looking for an EA who keeps you updated and informed then I would NOT use Hunters, if you want the privilege of paying for doing your own work then by all means use this EA, also if you want to feel as though the EA is acting on behalf of the buyer instead of the seller… this is the one for you!!! They say the right things to get the initial business and then offer bad advise and never any follow up or conversations about the state of the market during contract period, even when requested. Also emails and WA messages were ignored. Worst Estate Agent I’ve ever used. It seems that Katherine (who did the viewings) and Susan (admin) seem to hold them just above water and do all the donkey work. Just my honest opinion!! Would have given zero rating if possible

It later transpires that vendor accepted a lower offer for the sale of his property. The real questions are; what was the cause of those errors? were they really errors? why was the lower offer accepted and higher offer rejected? I was buying a house through hunters, wasn’t the best experience in the world. When it came to getting the keys from the bishop Auckland office, I was told to wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes, then presented with 1 key by itself, there was no congrats on your first home or any welcome gifts or anything, just here’s your key, see you later 👍🏼😂 got into the house, it wasn’t clean, the kitchen had been flooded which warped all the kitchen floor which I then had to pay to get it sorted. They should have done a check once the owners were out the house in order to make sure it was in a fit state and as seen on the viewings. I’ve since rented out houses around that area and stayed well clear of hunters, I would never use them again after the experience I had with them.

GoogleRecently viewed a house and unfortunately missed out, due to landlord deciding on first applicant, fortunetly for me they changed there mind on the property and instead of remarketing the home I was contacted and asked if I was still interested! Dealt with hannah and been a really smooth and helpful straight forward application, friendly, helpful and approachable about any query I have had.
