We couldn’t recommend Sophie and the team highly enough. The purchase of our new home wasn’t always the easiest process, and there were a few obstacles along the way, but Sophie and the team worked incredibly hard to keep everything moving and get us over the line. Communication was excellent throughout, and we always felt that they were genuinely invested in helping us complete. Harvey Robinson exceed the bar of expectations in every single regard. We viewed about ten properties with Harvey Robinson, predominantly under the guidance of Amy and with the help of Charlie-Mai, too. We knew exactly what we wanted and were lucky enough to find a property we fell in love with. We viewed with two other local estate agents, but Harvey Robinson blew them out of the water in terms of the properties on offer and highly personalised service. I was incredibly impressed by the team’s level of detailed interest in what we wanted in a house, matching us to some potential properties we may like. Despite our questionable solicitor selection, I can confidently say we could’ve easily not lifted a finger throughout the buying process and things would have worked out just fine thanks to Amy going above and beyond as a “middleman” for us. We felt reassured by being in incredibly safe hands throughout the entire process which is integral, especially when buying your first home. Even from the first steps, where we received a clear and succinct outline of the home buying process including timelines and what to expect, we were floored at the level of service offered. Disappointing, to the least Two months ago I had over my studio flat Katie the manager and Sophie the evaluator and ass.manager from Harvey Robinson in St Ives for my possible selling of my property For my request of selling my studio flat Harvey Robinson the fee was £3250 plus VAT. In a way asking the 2% of my selling flat plus 20% VAT. Last Tuesday I pop in the branch looking to review the fee Sophie it would le me know by email and so evening time I received a poorly written email that Harvey R. works for a minimum fee and I asked myself what is the minimum fee only when the day after 5th November so last Wednesday speaking with Corrinne the sales negotiator pointed out that the minimum fee for selling is £3000. If I had known that the minimum fee was £3000 pounds I would not contact Harvey Robinson in the first place for selling my studio flat, not only if the plot is undervalued as it was prospected, you still pay the same amount of fee. Clarity and transparency missing at Harvey Robinson, clearly confusing Now what it makes and how was calculated from the minimum fee of £3000 to the previous £ 3250 fee presented to me it is something making wondering. It seems that Harvey Robinson is calculating the fee depending on your property, smaller it can be higher is the fee or vice versa, taking present that lucky the 95% of estate agents are taking 1,25 or 1,35% plus vat and you pay the percentage for the amount of selling property. At the end the marketing and publicity are the same, so nothing different from Harvey Robinson just a little more in return as you can save a lot from their minimum fee. Who is losing or gaining clearly if the property is undervalued or overvalued for a studio flat the minimum difference it can be irrelevant, but a bad evaluation for a big selling fee for a bigger property it can make a substantial change. What I like to see from H.R. a better communication you are not selling door to door cornering the customer with lacking of real effective information and a better knowledge of percentage of yield or estimate it would not bad to know. It is the second time I have to encounter unfair behavior from another agent clearly needed change I will answer of any your reply I do feel the way you came to my house was a mis- leading ones involuntarily or not it is not the way. The team are incredibly helpful and the communication within the team is excellent, nothing I passed through ever got missed. Mathew Jones was managing my sale, and I can safely say I was in the best hands. Mathew was incredibly patient and understanding throughout the duration of the sale and he offered very genuine care and advice on many occasions. Mathew always maintained an incredibly positive and determined tone throughout our communications and nothing was ever too much. I was always kept very up to date and felt well looked after, never rushed or dismissed. Mathew is highly professional, incredibly competent and very positive. Once again Harvey Robinson in Biggleswade went above and beyond providing exceptional service selling my property . It was rather complicated and saturated local ( Kings Reach development ) market conditions, general elections looming and high mortgage rates having impact on property market overall , but Harvey Robinson's team devised perfect selling and marketing strategy to get our 4 bedroom sold in short period of time . HR also supported and managed sale process through exchange and completion , and kept the whole chain , very long chain in fact , aligned and informed . This is the second time I had dealings with Harvey Robinson ( buying previously and selling now ) and I couldn't recommend their services high enough . I would highly reccomend Harvey Robinson Estate Agents if you're looking to sell your home. From start to finish they've been excellent and I can't fault them in anyway. I've personally dealt with Sam, Charlie and Matthew and they've all been fantastic, especially in terms of keeping us up to date, ensuring we get the best price for our property and also following up solicitors when things have slowed down. I feel out of my depth when dealing with the complications of buying/selling property, but with them helping it definitely meant I could understand more and didn't feel embarrassed asking what I thought could be stupid questions. In terms of their marketing of our property, that was also brilliant and I felt that our property really stood out amongst the rest. If I had the option I would 100% use Harvey Robison again as my estate agent.

We initially went in to enquire about a house that unfortunately had sold but that didn’t stop HR trying everything they could to find us another house. I hate to be the one to leave this review but I need to be honest and leave my honest review and I feel 3 stars is being generous, I give the extra star for the quick response after I cancelled. I would be here all day typing if I was to go through everything but we went with Harvey Robinson due to Matt advising of their high level of communication. Unfortunately this isn't what we received. We had 2 viewings in a 2 month period which looks like it was due to us being overpriced (priced at Harvey's advised price ) and didnt receive any tailored feedback, just telling us about the markets current state. We went 4 weeks without hearing from them, apparently they did try to call but I didn't get this or a voicemail or email, I asked about my cancellation period and was told it was 21 odd days and felt I had no option but to then cancel as I wasn't going to wait till my contract was up and then wait 21 days. I don't feel they cared, I expected at this point to hear from Matt, I gave it a week, nothing. It wasn't until I put in my cancellation and a lengthy email on how I felt plus saying I haven't received a 5 star service like advertised that Matt then called. Matt was apologetic, admitted fault. I advised too little too late. He advised he was privy to all the conversations but didn't feel he needed to get involved, I'd argue when someone is calling up to find out their cancellation period that this should provoke a call especially since I said I felt I had no choice but to cancel. The service I received after I put my cancellation in to receive back key, take down adverts and signs was probably better than the service I received in the 6 weeks leading up to this. It started off okay but quickly went downhill. I hope this feedback helps Harvey Robinson not make the same mistakes again.
