First time home let

We inherited a house and decided to let the property out, as this was my first time in the field I engaged with Wards, they couldn't have been more helpful, they walked me through what I needed to do to get the property ready to be let out, plus what management options were available.Laura was extremely helpful through the whole process dealing with the few issues we had and were soon letting the property out smoothly..Thanks so much

Unable to give no stars? Yes they’ll sell your house but because you’ll have had enough of selling and them that you’ll give your house away just to make the experience stop! It starts by being assured what they’ll do for you and that they’ll be giving you the premium service that they are charging you for, you’ll also have to join via an extra charge that gets you preferential service from their solicitor which whilst at the moment is good it isn’t cheap as they make it seem in the glossy pamphlet! You won’t see or hear from that particular guy that has promised you this service and when you request a call and to update their very poor advert in Rightmove you’ll get one of their underlings who will fob you off with their arrogance! The final straw come when their “Progressor” who was labelled a “pit bull” when it comes to her determination will email you moaning about her workload and that basically she doesn’t currently care about your case until it gets to the very final hurdles (have to assume that but as we’re not there and unlikely to?). Subsequent emails have been ignored? So save your hard earned money and find another cheaper way to advertise on Rightmove because that’s all I feel I’ve paid for? Subsequent review to follow if they pull their socks up or we sack it all off??

I am in the process of buying a house in hythe and if it wasn’t for Maisie from wards this wouldn’t be happening. Avoid Wards Estate Agents, Unreasonable and Rude Lettings Manager

My sister, a professional dentist (with 20 plus years of experience) relocating from a Scandinavian country, requested a flat viewing for a rental property. To our shock, the agent demanded intrusive private information about her financial situation, specifically asking what she owns.The Lettings Manager, Emily Boyle, displayed the worst attitude throughout the interaction, making it clear that my sister would not even be allowed to view the property unless she agreed to pay 12 months' rent upfront. This unprofessional conduct was utterly unacceptable.It’s clear that this agency needs to seriously retrain its staff. Never before have we experienced such interrogation just to schedule a simple property viewing. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this agency.NB: To the owner of Wards, please listen to the voice recorded tapes from Sep 26 2024 on how Emily interacts with potential clients.
